Service was excellent, breakfast was great. Room was also nice but didn’t offer anything very special. Nice swimming pools. We stayed in 4 hotels on our holiday and Hilton was the most expensive one but did not make any impression. I really expect more of the environment and facilities of the hotel.
Outerspaces were disappointment. Hotel had the worse garden and outerspaces of all of our four hotels we stayed. Old broken sunbeds covered with bird waste. Cocroach under the sunbed matress and the lack of parasols. The beach was not the best one either. We stayed 6 days and all that time there was half empty glass bottle beside one sunbed. We even put it on the table to staff to be able to see it but nobody took it away in six days!! I really didn’t expect that! Staff did not take care of the beach facilities like in the other hotels did. Usually hotels in Mauritius offer snorkeling tours 2-3 times a day, Hilton didn’t offer any. You can not walk by the beach to the Flic en flac because there is a muddy river next to the hotel. And also a public beach next to the hotel. Facilities absolutely not five star hotel. I would go somewhere else at the same price and you will definitely get more!!!

Wir haben vor Anreise einige Wünsche zu unserem Zimmer ans Hotel geschickt. Diese wurde ALLE umgesetzt. Wir haben ein klasse Zimmer direkt am Strand in ruhiger Lage etc. bekommen, wie wir ujs das gewünscht hatten.
Wir sind sehr freundlich empfangen worden und das Management hat sich sehr um die Gäste bemüht ( z.B. Management Cocktail)
Wie wir erst vor Ort erfahren haben, steht das Hotel kurz vor einer großen Sanierung und schließt dazu Mitte April. Daher waren viele Dinge auch nicht mehr so, wie ich es aus anderen Hilton Hotels kenne.
Hier ein paar Bespiele:
- das Mobiliar, insbesondere die Liegen am Strand waren verschlissen und dreckig (Vogelkot)
- das Frühstück war (fast) immer gleich, keine Abwechslung und sehr einfach/kostengünstig
- Badetücher, gebrauchte Gläser und andere Utensilien werden abends nicht abgeräumt und bleiben manchmal über mehrere Tage am Strand und am Pool einfach liegen.
- Personal ist sehr unterschiedlich ausgebildet und unterschiedlich kundenorientieret. Erfahrene, freundliche Mitarbeiter sind leider in der Unterzahl. Diese sind aber wirklich sehr bemüht, die Probleme zu beheben. Trotzdem kann man aus meiner Sicht nicht den vollen 5-Sterne Preis verlangen, wenn die Dienstleistungen in der Situation schon sukzessive zurückgefahren werden.

The bed was very comfortable and wide. The view from our room was beautiful. Breakfast was excellent and rich, like in 5* hotel.
Check in took a long time. The sea at hotel was brown coloured - probably because of the near river.

Very nice resort with services like a gym, spa, pools, hotel activities, restaurant etc. Beach access is also very easy but would recommend a Water shoes as the ocean is full of corals and little stones.
Security - Room Security is very poor as on the day of our check out, probably during the time we went for breakfast someone robbed our room and steal money from our wallets. Room doors were not damaged, so most likely it was someone from the hotel staff - room service is our guess as that person knew the best what and where we do have our belongings in the room.
Lesson learned for us - to keep belonging in the safe only, but this kind of event you would not expect in a resort-like Hilton were the day price is that high.

Comfortable room and available leisure facilities. Very enjoyable breakfast and dinner. The room cleaning staff were very warm and engaging and enhanced my enjoyment of the stay.
I noticed that there was a rather surprising number of inexperienced staff - I guess my of the more experienced staff have not returned following Covid. The hot water stopped working at some point but this was resolved quickly.

The reception from arrival, during the stay and departure wax exceptional. The private beach is clean and well maintained. The breakfast has all the varieties. Loved everything about this place.

I think cruise to watch delphins should be included as well. In other hotel they had snorkling boats, which was not the case in Hilton. For 5 star hotel this should be provided because the spot thid delphins is not far
