Un véritable havre de paix, rien n est laissé au hasard, que ce soit côté décoration, et architecture ou bien gastronomie, tout est vraiment délicieux. Sans oublier le personnel qui est aux petits soins pour nous. La plage est d’une beauté à couper le souffle ! Le SPA est très beau aussi et les massages divins ! La salle de sport est très complète également. La délicate attention à notre arrivée ns a bcp touchée C était notre première expérience Lux, on y retournera c est certain.

C’était mon troisième séjour au Lux BelleMare. Tout est merveilleux de A à Z. Luxe calme et volupté ! Service haut niveau et personnel d’une gentillesse inégalée.

Nothing ..

This place is really great. Pool is big and not too deep so that kids are safe swimming there. The beach is very smooth and not rocky making swimming there a blast. The facility is well equipped with almost everything. Food is very delicious and available almost at all times. Staff is friendly and attentive. Special thanks to Hema, Wardah, Kaleem, the lady at the concierge (unfortunately I forgot her name) and the staff at the spa for making this a unique experience. We really had a great time at Lux Belle Mare.

The room is our least favorite part of the whole experience. We needed air conditioning at night but it was too cold. The hotel maintenance group had it fixed later on. We had our two kids with us and the sofa/beds were a bit tough and not very comfortable.

L'hôtel est situé sur le plus bel endroit de la côte est à 10 km à la ronde. L'endroit est beau, calme et agréable. La piscine et la mer en pente douce sont parfaitement adaptées aux enfants, même les plus petits. Le personnel est globalement très attentionné et serviable. Les restaurants sont également très bons (bien qu'assez, voire trop chers). Mention spécial à la case nautique qui permet un certain nombre d'activités nautiques incluses avec la chambre (dériveur, hobby cat, paddle, ski nautique, pédalo, kayak, etc.....).

En choisissant cet endroit un peu excentré, difficile d'envisager une visite de l'île (compter 45 min pour aller au Jardins Pamplemousse). Grief principal : le prix des boisons et surtout des restaurants. A midi, 55 €/personne pour un buffet, c'est trop cher, même dans un hôtel de ce standing. Vu l'emplacement, il est compliqué d'aller manger ailleurs.

Très bel hôtel, confortable, belle piscine et plage privée avec toujours des transats. Le petit déj est très bon avec beaucoup de choix. La literie est très bien. Les chambres sont bien isolées. Personnel très accueillant.

Si vous n'avez pas pris la demi-pension, le coût du buffet revient à 100 euros par personne ce qui est beaucoup trop pour un buffet (préférez manger à l'extérieur ou éventuellement dans les restaurants à la carte). De manière générale tout est payant et un peu trop cher. L'hôtel est un peu isolé.

L’hébergement rien à dire tout est parfait !!!!

La Restauration ! Pas du tout à la hauteur d’un établissement se disant Lux Buffet : aucun produit noble , extrêmement simple le produits sont préparés de forme différentes mais absolument pas au niveau d’un établissement comme le lux Prix du Buffet environ 110 euro astronomique par rapport aux produits servis !!! Ça vaut tout juste 50 euro /personne Petit déjeuner 60 euro incroyable mais vrai pas plus correct que le buffet du dîner. 30 euro serait le Juste prix ….. Point positif l’hébergement qui rattrape beaucoup la restauration au prix extrêmement excessif …,. Service en chambre ( uniquement ) parfait !!!! Je recommanderais pas cet établissement uniquement pour la Restauration absolument pas en adéquation avec le prix excessif !!!!!

The staff were so helpful and kind. This was consistent across, there isn’t a single person we came across that was different. Thank you to everyone at Grand Gaube for making our stay so very memorable. I would also like to send a heartfelt thank you to Mr Mario and Anasia. Mr Mario lead with heart and took immediate liking to my two little boys. He made a wooden pen for my eldest and a boat for my little Thori, we also made a dodo from old slippers. I’ve never experienced such kindness, Mauritian people are the best. I would recommend the resort again and again. I look foreward to going back and creating wonderful memories with my family again.

Everyone is kind. And super nice service! Scenery was good, food was good, everything in there was great!

The best hotel I have ever stayed at. I travel a lot and Mauritius has been on my list for some time now. Lux Belle Mare has amazing service, food and facilities. It smells amazing and everyone is friendly and helpful.

The location of the resort, it has a huge beach front with white sand. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. There are ample activities all throughout the day which you could engage in. .

Lack of Indian vegetarian options in the in-room dining and during breakfast as well.

Just returned from a splendid holiday at lux belle mar. One of those trips that the whole family agreed was a total success. Particular highlights: First and foremost, has to be Jesika. And childcare in general. For me, the quality of the childcare was always going to make or break my ability to relax. It was also something I found it hard to get info about before our visit - website doesn’t say or show that much (although you can call and speak to the lovely kids club manager and she’ll send images and schedules etc). It was excellent. Kids club is nice space, both indoors and out, and the weekly schedule offers a good variety of activities for different age groups from glass bottom boat trip to cooking to crafts. The staff were ALL wonderful. Our kids are 4 months and 4 years old, so we had a dedicated nanny for the two weeks too. Jesika came for between 6-10 hours each day, we just arranged our preferred times the night before. That flexibility really took the pressure off having to plan everything - we could just see how we were feeling and sometimes added a few hours on last minute if we felt like a nice grown up dinner. From the first moment she arrived, Jesika whisked the kids away and made it clear that she was there to do whatever she could to help us relax, she would take care of everything. This was just the dream. A fun, dynamic and incredibly capable pair of hands who was as loving to my baby as she was able to skilfully handle my demanding 4 year old. It made such a difference having our baby taken care of between 11-4 when the sun is at its hottest - she was so much happier indoors. Jesika looked after her between the room and kids club so that she got rest but also was around our older child too. We sometimes left our 4 year old with Jesika while we had dinner or a massage, other times we took him to kids club or the water park or beach and were able to focus on him in a way that wouldn’t have been possible with a tiny baby in tow too.

There’s little to complain about, but I’d say the hotel could do with more staff serving round the pool as it’s often very slow

staff very attentive, friendly and kind, let us stay an additional day at very short notice when our flight was delayed and we’re very helpful in rearranging transport for us. food is wonderful with much to choose, pool and beach were lovely, room was always spotless when cleaned and loved the extra details of flowers at the end of bed and that the room service was always done when we were out even in shorter time periods. we will definitely return in future!

not really the fault of lux I don’t think but definitely thought it would be more of a Romantic adult atmosphere due to its luxurious reputation and social media photos… however felt it was bit of a crèche during our stay. so many babies and toddlers!! they easily outnumbered couples staying to try and relax by the pool. lux have a few children activities and would say this is a good stay for children over the age of 7 rather than babies, we found it quite noisy at times by the pool and abit disappointing at dinner times in the restaurants to have the infants screaming and screeching, throwing food and having tantrums when trying to have a romantic meal. perhaps just a phase at the moment with people trying to go all out and have a big family holiday following covid times but we will still return in future (already planning a return trip to see more of the island!) and hope it’s abit calmer!
