Everything about the hotel and the staff was amazing! The hotel is beautiful with great rooms and a really nice pool to cool off in after spending the mornings and afternoon in the park. The staff was so hospitable, they made all the difference to make sure our stay was comfortable and even helped us plan out each day by creating an itinerary for us. The hotel location is also incredible, super close to the Zhangjiajie National forest park entrance. The hotel offers free shuttle to get to park entrance. A great breakfast included in the rate every morning as well. It was all fantastic!

Comfy to stay, and place is tidy. Staff were very friendly and professional, provide advice for the local trip planning and transportation service upon request.

Me and my boyfriend took a short trip to Zhangjiajie whilst he was visiting me in beijing from the UK. We had the most amazing trip thanks to all the staff at the homeward mountain resort, they honestly made our trip unforgettable. Every detail was included from their delicious homemade chinese food, to organising transport and excursions for us. They have a lovely bar with a nice amount of options, this included spirts, beer, soft drinks and cocktails (We both especially loved the “first love” cocktail). Not only was the service incredible but the location and hotel views were breathtaking!! We were a 5 minute drive away from the hotel to the west entrance of the Avatar mountains (national forest park) We also had a view of the mountains from the pool which was amazing!! We were around an hour away from Tianmen mountain which was not an issue as the hotel arranged transport for us there and back. The room was lovely and clean with a lovely bath and balcony overlooking the pool and forest. We had a traditional chinese breakfast in the morning with lovely Italian coffee. I would recommend anyone visiting Zhangjiajie to stay at the homeward mountain resort. The price is absolutely amazing for the location, hotel and service you receive.

Location is very good, in the countryside 2 min ride from the entrance of the park. It is very well decorated with eye for detail and rooms are comfortable.

Absolutely one of the most friendly staff and crew in the hotel! Very lovely and outstanding! Also the free shuttle to the cable way and pick up. You can also have dinner and a cold beer by the pool, visit the Tianmen mountain(fair price for go and return). Get help how to get around and even consider the time available to provide tailor made tips! Value for money is great, can totally recommend. Good dinner, recommend the eggplant, egg and tomatoe and the noodle with egg!

On the weekend very crowded and breakfast almost empty, our first room had mold ok the wall, you can also smell it. Very friendly when we asked to change rooms, just needs renovation (8103)
