The hotel is quite and tranquil. The staff are super friendly. The hotel is surrounded by trees and is very private. It is a short walk to crystal beach where you can swim and also get drinks and food. The hotel food pricing is good value but it was also nice to have dinner at the beach and watch the sunset.
The bathroom has an exposed ceiling above the shower with is a lovely touch while still being private. It is worth noting not to forget to turn your bathroom light off at night otherwise bugs get attracted to the light. Not a big issue, but a lesson we learnt quickly.
There is local farms near by so you do hear animals at times. We picked this hotel as it was away from the busy streets and allowed us down time to unwind and enjoy the island.
Highly recommend to anyone wanting to explore and enjoy the island while staying somewhere peaceful and relaxing but still being able to walk to a beach for a swim.

Cottage très agréable avec lit confortable. Personnel au petits soins . Ambiance calme et reposante. Les repas pris sur place sont bons. Plage à proximité à pied. Petit hébergement avec grande piscine et plein de transat. Facilité pour organiser les transferts depuis le port.

Wonderful location only a short walk from Crystal Bay. The staff are exceptional and truly go out of their way to be welcoming, helpful and attentive. We booked very last minute and they were able to organise a driver to pick us up from the ferry arrival which was ideal. The whole atmosphere is very relaxed with good facilities available, including a great pool.
Nothing - it is a perfect oasis! Given it is a small island there are more limited choices available for food if you don't have a car but this is nothing unexpected and the meals we had at Mahaloka Valley were great.

What distinguishes this property besides its beautiful ground and its cleanliness, is the kindness of their staff! When my mom got sick during our stay, we received all sorts of kindness. Linda from the front desk personally cooked us food when the kitchen was closed due to religious event. The owner went out of his way to accommodate all our needs. We didn’t just check into a hotel, we checked into local family and cultural experience.

The owner and staff are so helpful and friendly, it really made our difference to our stay, we felt so at home and they gave us great recommendations.
The location is beautiful and so are the grounds, you can easily reach Crystal bay and Amok sunset.
I would definitely go again, a short taxi ride from the harbour.
The road to the property is bumpy, however as the island develops I’m sure this will improve, and we still had an amazing time.

Beautiful little complex in a green valley. There's only 10 wooden bungalows, restaurant and pool in a very nice garden. Peace and nature. 10 minutes walk to Crystal Bay. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Really good stafg. Always in contact. They rebooked us a tickets to another port due to storm, organized a transfers for us. Steps away from Crystal bay. Nice surroundings. Once I saw a monkey on the tree near the hotel.
Poor breakfast. For adult it is necessary to have 2 portions. Small rooms. Slow internet. In the evening it is hard to make audio calls. For this price (for 2 rooms) we had much more spacious and comfortable villa in Bali.

The accommodations at Mahaloka Valley were comfortable and well-appointed. My room was spacious, clean, and had all the necessary amenities to ensure a pleasant stay. The bed was cozy, providing a good night's sleep after a day of exploration and relaxation.

A gem in the island!We had wonderful stay in this place.Very friendly staff,comfortable bed and good A/C in the room.Atmosphere is just amazing,really better than in pictures.When you walk to the beach,you cross the local village,which was also a gem for us!Best beach in the island is just 10 min walking and you could get the boat for manta snorkeling from there.I hope I’ll come back again.Thank you again!;)

The staff were incredible. From the second we arrived, until the moment we left they were helpful and friendly and extremely welcoming. The location is incredible. Walking distance from Crystal Beach, therefor you avoid the terrible tourist traffic every morning and afternoon. The huts are beautiful, we had everything we needed.

We had a wonderful time at Mahaloka Valley with my wife. It's close to Crystal Bay Beach, the gardens are beautiful, and the staff is polite. We loved the peaceful atmosphere and the excellent service. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway with your loved ones.

Awesome design and environment, very clean and our rooms didn't have any creepy crawlies at all. Super friendly and helpful staff! We also took both of their tour packages (east & west of the island), the driver was great too.
The food is alright, compared to the elsewhere on the island it is already pretty great. Would be better if there's something in the restaurant to keep away the flies, like a fan or something.

Mahaloka Valley totally rocked my world! First off, the staff, especially Linda, was like a ray of sunshine in human form. Her friendly vibes and willingness to go the extra mile made me feel like a VIP. And let's talk convenience - you could literally get anything you needed right from the lobby! Snorkeling adventures? Boom, they got you covered. Boat tickets to that epic island nearby? Done. Need a transfer from airport? No problemo. It was like having a personal genie, granting all your travel wishes. Plus, the property itself was a total paradise, with stunning natural beauty everywhere you turned. I felt like I was living in an Instagram dreamland.

good breakfast and diner but too long to be served. It's homemade, you can order before to be served on time. Even if you ordered before, we had been served 15 minutes later.
Rooms was clean but when we arrived, WC was little bit dirty, ask for cleaning again, they do it immediatly.

Motorbikes was not very good. They let you enough fuel to fill up the tank (25k idr/bottle) you can find cheaper in the island + brakes not very secure.

Really in nature surrounded by hills, nice pool! Staff is really nice! Cozy cabin, easy walk to crystal bay.
- There was a Gecko in our bathroom.
- Sink was clogged, we complained twice. Staff kept saying they’ll fix it but never did.
- Food was ok, not great, and there aren’t other options around at night so you’re stuck with the limited menu they had.

Stay was comfortable and the location is perfect. It is located near Crystal Bay beach just 5min drive. Hotel has its own restaurant so not to worry about food. Breakfast was included in room price and it was delicious. Reception guy was very helpful. He allowed us to use pool area even after checkout. I will definitely recommend.

We stayed two nights. The staff is super nice and professional even on balinese standards. Could arrange trips with ease. The tranquility of the place: isolated and preserved in the middle of the green. It is remote, but at the same time close to one of the most beautiful beach around (15 min walk under the shade). Charming garden with a very nice pool. Rooms quite comfortable and at night you will just ear nothing. Hint: it is possible to arrive to Cristal bay directly from Lembongan mushroom bay by small boat.
The restaurant is good, on par to standards in terms of Bali, and there seems to be no real other options close by. A very good to exceptional restaurant would have made a note of 10 to this place.
