We love the no children policy. Very tranquil. Property looks gorgeous. Villas and gardens are beautifully maintained. Staff are young and dynamic. Terrific food in the restaurant. International quality cocktails. Additional praise for Dandi for providing exceptional service.

Competition with non in-house guests for space in the restaurant and spa treatments.

The service and the food were incredible. The surroundings were stunning, definitely our favorite place so far. Samanvaya was such a relaxing experience in itself but Sidemen village made it the perfect place to enjoy some quiet time with yourself or your other half.

I loved just about everything at the Samanvaya - we had the most beautiful room, Joglo, the food at their restaurant was exceptional and the staff were so lovely! The restaurant had so many dishes I liked that I had a different breakfast and dinner every day (for 5 days)

Nothing - other than it was a long drive from the airport

Although the resort is advertised as adults only the restaurant does allow non guests to book there. During our short stay on two separate occasions we endured not only a young baby but two toddlers being allowed in. One of the toddlers was allowed to run through the restaurant while the parent dragged the other child through the restaurant to the toilet. Appreciate the additional income it generates to allow non guests, but then don’t advertise adults only. If there is good reason for booking an adult only stay be it emotional or you just can’t stand the little darlings, be aware.

Good selection of breakfast. Very friendly staff. Only thing which was bit disappointing was the property was very close to the road so was little noisy during night.

Great resort with a variety of different bungalows. Make sure to get one with a view over the rice fields and onto the mountains of Sidemen. The interior and the design were wonderful. Very friendly staff and great food & drinks in the restaurant (lovely included breakfast). Two infinity pools with a lot of sunbeds around.

The Yoga Barn was under construction, so there were no offered yoga classes (as advertised). Unfortunately the hotel could not offer us alternatives in the nearby region/ other hotels.

Hardly anything! but if we were to be critical, and just as a potential areas for further improvement would be to sound proof the rooms if at all possible as the villa next door is quite close and we could hear our neighbouring guests coughing all night.

Amazing, Wow, Beautiful, way beyond expectations. I am well travelled and Samanvaya is the most beautiful resort I have ever stayed in. So peaceful. It's like being in nature with all the luxuries. The breakfast options were plentiful. Fantastic service, the staff are all so friendly, the spa was amazing. We will be back sometime to enjoy this beautiful piece of paradise.

Amazing place. Beautiful setting and lovely rooms and design throughout the hotel. The restaurant is also good and cocktails are great. Also reasonably priced considering the quality.

A truly wonderful and exceptional experience. The staff were amazing and connected with us very well. We felt very welcomed. So much that for the first time, we got to know so many staff working for the hotel, such as: Mandrini, Made, Alina, Dandi, Komang, Eka Nanda, Ketut, and many more! Apologies if there are spelling mistakes of the names. The day trip tour guides were very friendly and shared with us plenty of personal stories and insights about the area and hotel (Village plastic collection for rice exchange, supporting local communities, etc.). Special mention to Putu & Nioman (friendly and engaging scooter tour), Gusti (safe and steady driver to Mt Batur and transfer), and Okta (Batur guide, very patient and took good care of our safety) The restaurant Asri Dining also serves quality local and international cuisine, not to be missed! Staff is also attentive and approachable. The region is away from the busy streets of Ubud, Seminyak, Canggu etc., and we were able to unwind and relax much more than expected. To my wife and I it felt like a home, away from home. We will return!

Views and surrounding areas. Hotel grounds are well maintained.

Inflexible slow staff. That are very pleasant but not much useful. We could not cancel (due to sunburn) 8pm massage at 11am - late. After day on hotel food and drinks most of our group got sick, some vomiting.

Beautiful resort with nice view in the gardens and terraces around in Sidemen. Everything there looks and feels like a photospot, the buildings and the interior is super-nice and the whole resort just fits in there. Staff is very friendly and attentive, makes your stay there most comfortable. Food in the restaurant was delicious. Room is very clean, some rooms may offer better views than ours, but you get the nice view from the bar/pool/restaurant/shala so it doesn’t really matter. Spa area also was super clean and nice, we enjoyed our only one night stay a lot and would definitely come back.

Not the cheapest hotel you get on Bali, but there you definitely get what you pay for. Also I am personally not friend of those bathrooms with “open air” ventilation, but obviously that’s how you build there and we didn’t have any animal in the bathroom either, so it was fine.

Amazing, stylish, chic and relaxed hotel in the middle of Sideman. Exceptional cleanness and friendly and helpful stuff. One of the best spa experiences and the best restaurant in the whole Sideman and even Bali.
