Location very convenient for Eagle Bahn Gondola. Fireplace in room was lovely.
Should have a system to allow reuse of towels if desired for sustainability purposes.

the property was beautiful! The amenities were fantastic! The staff has been exceptional, all so helpful & full of smiles & energy. This hotel was one of my favorite I’ve ever stayed at. It elevated my experience without a doubt. I would highly recommend to anyone staying in vail.

excellent location and amenities for the mountain! excellent style and lots going on. also the in town bus ends up right there if you do not take the complementary shuttle!
Should have a larger wine list for the restaurant and hotel. Also should have plastic wine glasses for the pool area.

The hotel itself was renovated and stylish looking. Our room was nice looking for the most part, and we enjoyed the fireplace. I really liked the spa in general-- I had a massage with Leo, which was wonderful, and I enjoyed the spa facilities like the whirlpool and steam room. We were glad to have the ski concierge service, so we didn't have to carry our skis back and forth.
I can't believe that this is part of "The Luxury Collection," because apart from a random assortment of designer soaps/lotions, absolutely nothing about our stay felt luxurious. Whoever designed this hotel was clearly more focused on other details instead of getting the basics right. For example, the lobby/bar/restaurant area was absolutely chaotic at all times because of the open floor plan and tall ceilings, which enhanced the screams of children and drunk people. Additionally, who cares about Molton Brown soap if the bed is hard and squeaky and the pillows are limp, lumpy sacks? ANY hotel's primary function is to provide a place to rest, and yet we couldn't get a single decent night's sleep. We were exhausted from sleep deprivation on the slopes every morning. Staying at a Luxury Collection hotel, we expected high-quality bed linens, a comfy bed, and a variety of sumptuous pillows, but no. I was downstairs past midnight desperately reasoning with reception, only to find that they had "run out" of the foam pillows that they also offer on request-- it was explained that "they're really popular with the guests so they always run out really fast." Where is the logic in this? Clearly, guests hate your pillows. Change them. Eventually we "scored" some foam pillows, but they were rock-hard, so it wasn't much of an improvement. Management took care of the valet parking and one night's resort fee as an attempt to make up for our experience, but in keeping with the spirit of our stay, we were underwhelmed. We will stay at The Arrabelle next time, which is what we should have done in the first place.

newly renovated and clean. valet, concierge, and reception were excellent
cost, maid service, room service, breakfast room was substandard

Location beautiful, breakfast expensive, people fantastic, at the ski store and rental people is adorable the same at the valet place (these Peruvian and Argentinian kids are THE BEST), very easy to go through towns with the shuttle right in your place, real walking distance to the gondola, specially because you don’t carry your skis thanks to valet service
Definitely the hotel is too expensive for what it is… towels are not changed even if you put one on the floor or if the mat is totally wet (they take it off and never replace it), the shower itself is ridiculous not pressure at all and sprinkles all over but you , you could help with shower cap (if In all places there is one you can’t expect people will know that you don’t put them). It’s not that the place is not good is that it is not at all a 5 ⭐️ And when you pay that much you expect perfection

bed is great - staff is great but mask weak is not consistent- staff takes down mask to talk which is dangerous and not necessary - we can hear them fine. so not following Covid protocols at all - lots of unmasked guests even though it required and no one is enforcing the rules
the room did not have the amenities pictured - no small couch - 2 very uncomfortable chairs - only on chair for counter - hard for in room dining during omicron surge - too expensive for what it is

Everything was exceptional.

The breakfast was great, good located, the room had an excellent view, clean and safe, staff is kind. I really appreciated the free water and tea in the mornings. The gym is perfect with a great equipment, the rooms are very confortable and full of very nice details. It is fully recommended
I would like a more accesible rates for the breakfast and I consider that the sanitized towels to clean the equipment in the gym are not with good quality because they became dry inmediately

Concierge was unable to provide us a bus transport option for returning to the Denver airport. We got online and booked via Peak1 on our own. Apparently Hythe has only certain vendors and they were all booked on the day we left.
