Big house with very new bathroom and kitchen facilities. Great water pressure in showers and very big bedrooms. Would love to stay longer next time. Ryoji was a very friendly manager and allowed us to store bags in the house a little earlier before check in so we could explore Kyoto during the day. very cool kitchen storage btw.

Ryoji’s house was so close to Kyoto station and great value for money. So great to stay in a traditional Japanese house. Everything was clean and we had all we needed for a great stay.

Stayed two nights with a family of four. We could use the whole house by ourselves and each person could choose a room they wanted to stay. Kitchen & dining area is very spacious and the whole house is clean & comfortable. The owner let us use bicycles, which were parked at the front door area, so we enjoyed cycling around Kyoto.

We felt that shower rooms were small but didn't have any problem when using two showers at the same time.
