Es ist ruhig, gemütlich und bietet eine großartige Aussicht. Nach einer 5-minütigen Fahrt erreichen Sie den Eagle River, um Einkäufe zu tätigen oder eine gute Tasse Kaffee im Jitters (unserem örtlichen Ort) zu trinken. Nur wenige Minuten die Straße hinauf von unserem Haus zum Gipfel der Skyline Dr. Glatzkopf. Oder setzen Sie sich einfach mit einem abendlichen Glas Wein auf das Deck und schauen Sie auf den Hiland Mountain oder an einem klaren Tag nach Norden, um Denali zu sehen. Der Eagle River ist ein großartiger Ort für Tagesausflüge nach Norden nach Palmer, Hatcher's Pass, Big Lake oder nach Süden nach Anchorage, Artic Valley, Alyeska und zur Kenai-Halbinsel.
Unser Haus verfügt über 4 Schlafzimmer und 2. 5 Bäder. Die 3 Hauptschlafzimmer haben alle Kingsize-Betten und das letzte Schlafzimmer ist unser neu renovierter 'Werkstattraum' mit 2 Queensize-Betten. Das Haus hat eine gemütliche Atmosphäre im Obergeschoss mit offenem Grundriss. Es gibt Waschmaschine / Trockner. Es gibt auch eine einfache flache Auffahrt für jedes Auto oder sogar das Parken eines Wohnmobils.

Not much to say beyond my first experience in Alaska being amazing and the property was just that as well. Spacious, clean, amazing views, along with having the bedrooms well separated from the communal areas. Couldnt have asked for a better trip or a property experience.

The property is was fantastic. My family had a great time and we were able to be well separated by the bedrooms and main living spaces above for sleeping and quiet time. The kitchen worked very well our daily cooking and the living room and loft was a great place for movies and playing games. The views from the deck were simple amazing overlooking the valley and bay. It snowed while we were up there, and the kids were able to sled down the road bank. Eagle River is a quant little town and has great access to nature centers, Anchorage, and up to Denali area. This is place is a gem.

Breathtaking and Amazing!
Oh my goodness.....this was a fantastic VRBO experience. Lovely and clean cabin-esque feel in an idyllic Alaska setting!! I will definitely rent from Shannon again when family or friends come into town. The view from the many windows is nearly impossible to describe....so picture perfect and beautiful!! Thank you!!

Great house with a great view.
This house is an excellent choice while visiting the Anchorage area of Alaska. The house is very comfortable and enjoyable to stay in. The views from the house overlooking the mountains and the city down below are stunning both during the day and in the evening hours. The house is well appointed and the owners are available via phone should you need them. We will definitely rent again on our next visit to Eagle River, AK.

Fantastic house in Anchorage, AK
Alaska sells itself! This house was a great base to experience Alaska. Well stocked with all household items and then some bonus thoughts such as a bin of winter gear that couldn't be packed. Also appreciated the use of a printer.

Great house with amazing views
We loved the location of this property and the views were incredible. Just out of town enough to have privacy and room to explore, but not so far you can’t make a quick trip to the store or restaurants. Great proximity to JBER.

Absolutely perfect!
I stayed with four of my siblings and my father as a special trip for dad, and this house was just what we needed! Great location to get into anchorage, drive further along the coast or go north. It was also perfectly comfortable with great views for when we needed a few hours or an evening to take a break from adventures. The rooms were all big and comfortable, and the deck had a beautiful view. Kelly was very communicative and helpful. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Wonderful Eagle River Mountain Retreat!
We hosted a family reunion to Alaska and loved absolutely everything about this stunning home in the quaint town of Eagle River! The location was perfect for day trips North to Mirror Lake or Eklutna Lake, or South to Girdwood, Whittier, Seward, and the Kenai. The family enjoyed the local feel of Jitters, a coffee spot, that was right down the hill, and the convenience of 3 grocery stores within a few miles. The house itself was spotless, the views stunning, and the layout and functionality perfect! The host was very prompt and provided excellent detail and assistance as needed. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone traveling to Alaska~ Thank you for making our experience unforgettable!

Alaska Wedding
We had four couples stay at the house. There was plenty of room for everyone and the views were great.. We even saw a bear, but missed seeing the moose. Communication with the owner was very good and I would highly recommend this property.

Amazing views
This was a wonderful property. We had views from all three floors. We had two couples staying together and we both had enough room to have some privacy. We also love the Jacuzzi tub. One of the couples did several hikes while the other couple just snuggled on the couch. It was perfect for the four of us.

Alaska vacation,
I just have to say that everything from the location to the home was absolutely beautiful. The views were stunning, and the last night we even saw a bear walking by there. Communication with the owner and check in and out out couldn’t have been better. I would highly recommend this rental for anyone going with a large family or group.

Multi family stay
We had a excellent time. Multi families stayed and we had our own spaces and still had lots of community space for spending time together. Great views and quiet neighborhood. They had several nice details. Very convenient to get to Walmart or Fred Myers for all grocery needs. There are a few nails on the deck to be cautious of. Over all very happy with our choice to stay at eagle river mountain retreat!

Great place.
Our stay was a wonderful experience. The home was spacious, comfortable and provided great views. We were able to make several excursions during the day and always looked forward to returning to our "home" , kicking our shoes off and enjoying a good night's sleep, ready to go again the next day! Will always remember this special place and will return if the opportunity arises.

Perfect setting for our family gathering!
This Eagle River home was perfect for our special family wedding group! The layout of the bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen worked very well for our large group; and, the view is breathtaking from high above Eagle River. It was a great location for our day trips to Girdwood, Seward, Talkeetna and Denali...although, we remain in the 70% Club that didn’t get to see it! We made this memorable trip from Texas and hope to be repeat visitors at this special Eagle River home again soon. Thank you, Kelly!
