Jun 2020While not on the beach it’s so close. Literally 2 blocks from beach and village. We enjoyed the pool as much as beach. Privacy nor an issue. You do see the neighbors pool but not really a big deal. I’m not a fan of mgt companies that ask you to start laundry and wash:put away dishes. For crazy cleaning costs I feel like I should be able to spend my last few hrs (before 10 am checkout) relaxing not cleaning. But, the mgt company was great to deal with otherwise.

Nov 2019We had a great week together with family over thanksgiving! House is so close to downtown Siesta Key and short, easy walk to beach. Management was very quick to respond to any issue or needs. Highly recommend!

Nov 2020We had 9 people including 2 teenagers staying at the house. The only thing that was missing was the 2nd bedroom with a sleep sofa but there was a rollaway bed so it made up for it. We had a great time using the pool and grill area and had some friends come down and there was plenty of room. The house was in the perfect location to walk to the strip or the beach. Overall would absolutely stay again or recommend to anyone!

Apr 2019We had 2 adults and 5 adult children. Casa Ohana is the downstairs unit of the house. Everything was as expected; new, clean and plenty of day-to-day living items. Location is great in terms of beach and the Siesta strip. Convenient food shopping is at the top of the street, although pricey. Go to Publix for larger shopping. Pool was clean and heated.
Highly recommend if you are looking for something in Siesta Key.

Apr 2021We absolutely loved our vacation at Siesta Key. This property is perfectly located 1.5 blocks from the village that has all the restaurants and shops! Only 2 blocks from the beach. They have everything you need for the beach. We loved our private pool too! It was definitely a highlight of our trip!

Just short walk to beach and center of town.Staff at cottages extremely nice and helpful.

Nov 2021This property was perfect. We had 8 adults and had plenty of room. My group loved it... beautiful, very clean and comfortable. We liked that we were in walking distance to the restaurants ,shops and beach. The bikes were a big plus. Siesta beach is our favorite and is only a 5 minute walk. Great beach to ride bikes on. We are looking forward to returning next year.

Oct 2019This is really a terrific property. Great pool. Great location. Bikes and chairs for beach were super useful. They thought of everything. I wish there was a powder room bathroom rather than only bedroom based bathrooms but that’s ok. Super comfortable beds.

Mar 2022The Cottage Crew; I must share with you that your other guest from the upper floor is all very loud party folks who ruined most of our trip between the yelling inside the hallways at all hours & partying, smoking on the Patio deck & smoking by the pool! Perhaps you should post Inside each house printed copies rules required of all guests to be sure appropriate & respectful behaviors are followed, including ending late-night parties that occurred well past 1 am on several nights. Next, guest Smoking by the pool is not something my family and I believe it's reasonable to expect from other VBRO quests.

Jun 2019One block from the heart of the Village and two blocks from the beach, this new four bedroom condo was perfect for all 8 of us. We spent more time lounging around our private pool than at the beach because everything was so comfortable.

Jul 2018My husband & I with 2 teenage kids along with my mom, sister & her 2 kids had a great time! We were literally walking distance to Siesta Village which made it convenient to get food, go shopping, or get ice cream. The beach access is fairly close & definitely easy to walk to Beach access 5 or 7. The kids age 17, 19, 13, 10 all rode the bikes there daily. We mostly did drive over to those accesses because it was easier to transport the beach chairs. One thing we didn't anticipate was the distance of the walk out to the ocean once at the beach access. We've never stayed in Siesta Key so we didn't know how wide the dune areas are. It's beautiful, but can be a difficult walk loaded with beach supplies in the heat of the day:) Just something to consider if you have older or very young with you. The pool at Casa Ohana was great!! The landscaping was beautiful & private from others around you (even the one next to us). Loved having the TV under the cabana & a large table for the family to grill & eat outside! Biggest plus for us was that we got to bring our beloved family pet! The property managers were very nice & so accommodating!! Hope we can come back again very soon!

Sep 2018Located centrally in Siesta Key Village so we walked everywhere. The house is sited for wonderful sun on the pool in the afternoon. TV on the patio allows you to choose music by the pool to suit your mood. Management was more than responsive to every need and so friendly. We loved staying here and plan to return!

Jan 2022I would not hesitate to stay at another property managed by Cottages on the Key. They were very responsive and professional.
This property is not a unit that would be a good fit for my family again. The vicinity to the beach is excellent. The unit was too loud for us, there is a third floor unit above. One night a neighboring property was very loud as well. The property managers reassured me that it was no bother to let them know if noise persisted between 9pm-9am. I appreciated that, and find those to be reasonable times for quiet hours.
The unit itself just wasn’t right for my family and some furnishings are due for replacement IMO. It was not as clean as I would expect (the property management company very quickly sent cleaners to come handle that)
The location, amount of space and pool area, and garage are a plus.

The pictures appear to communicate that the rental units are a left and right side. We would not have rented the property if we knew we had the 2nd floor and another group was above us on the 3rd floor. There were small ants in the kitchen. The blinds in the living room were missing 1/2 dozen slats to prevent full privacy. The elevator didn't work and it took 2 calls for the property manager to send someone to fix it. Great location.
