May 2019What a great place to stay, super clean, close to town and shopping. Only 20 minutes to Pass a Grille beach and downtown St. Petersburg. Excellent central air and hot water. House is larger inside than pictures show. Professional landscaping with huge backyard and patio. Look no further, this is the home for your vacation in Gulfport.

Jun 2019What a great find and just steps away from shops and restaurants. First, I didn’t want to leave the home, but when we did, we could walk to Gulfport’s waterfront. Just 10 mins from the beach, this was a definite re-do!

Oct 2019We love this home, and so do my kids! (ages 6,6,3) This was a second stay. It's the perfect size! I love having the beach gear and cart there too. My kids could chase lizards all day--bonus that now the entire backyard is fenced so I can let them run around back there while I make dinner. They really appreciated the reptile guide that the owners had left for them :)
The check in and check out process is super easy, the house is clean and well maintained, and comfortable! My kids think it is a second home we own, lol! That's how at-home it feels! The owners are super responsive and we've never had any issues where we've needed to contact them.
We were able to take day trips to the beach, a dolphin cruise, John's pass, and some local restaurants. We even made it out to Disney for a day. It's great to have this place as an option when we're visiting my in-laws. Look forward to coming back!

Sep 2019We had to evacuate for hurricane Dorian and were lucky to find this beautiful home. The house was pristine with park-like settings in the backyard. Everything was perfect despite being a pet friendly property. Our dogs loved the large yard. A cute downtown is a block or 2 away, and the beach is right there. The owner Jim was awesome - he went out of his way to welcome us during a very difficult time, and without us asking, he didn’t charge us for a couple of days that we missed due to the uncertainty of the storm. We really appreciated the character he showed while others gouge those in a tough situation. What a great experience!

Jan 2019We had a lovely stay in Gulfport at Christine and Jim’s house. The home is lovely and very well equipped. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for an upscale home, close to everything. It’s very comfortable, spacious and well laid out. Also I would be remiss to not mention the wonderful helpfulness of both Christine and Jim as I drove off and left my wedding rings and some other expensive jewelry at the house. A frantic text later they assured me they would go by the house and pick them up and send them to me. I can’t begin to thank them both enough to go so out of their way to be helpful, courteous and concerned especially as it was just a very few days before Christmas. I am so appreciative for booking this property from such good and caring people. Our damage deposit was also quickly refunded and I appreciate that as well. Five star property from five star hosts!

Nov 2021We had a great stay, just two blocks off the main Street of shops and restaurants. If you keep walking a few blocks thru the town you end up at the beach area with bars and volleyball courts.
The house was super clean and stocked with what you would need for a great stay. Thanks again for having us!

Apr 2019Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - 2nd time in Gulfport with our 2 pooches. The house is in great shape, very clean and well located. Just a short walk to the restaurants and bars, the pier and beach area. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is the fact that it isn't a totally fenced yard.....but we would certainly rent it again!

The house is well-maintained and the owners are very responsive. A great place for couples or a family to vacation in Florida. This year I was especially appreciative to have the private garage for my new car!

Aug 2022This property was truly amazing. The property owners are very responsive and friendly as well. The home was open and bright. I had requested a crib and highchair for my 9 month old. Both were there when we arrived. I expected the bedrooms to be smaller based on the photos however, they were quite large. The bathrooms were much larger than I excepted as well. The home is nicely tucked back from the road with plenty of room to park 2 cars on the driveway. The backyard is huge and the screened in patio was fabulous. There is also a nice front porch to sit on and enjoy a cup of coffee. The home is well equipped with kitchen pots, pans, utensils, cups, and everything else you need. Plenty of beach toys and a pushcart were provided as well. Its a very short walk to many coffee shops and restaurants. Highly recommend, especially for families!

May 2019This is our second year in a row renting this house. Christine and Jim are awesome and the house is beautiful inside and out. It’s right in the heart of Gulfport which makes it close to the beaches etc. but so far away when you’re ready to return home for the evening, away from the hustle and bustle.

Nov 2018This house is super cute and very clean! Christine & Jim are very responsive. This is 2nd time we have stayed here when in the area. It is a 3 block walk to beach. My friends and I- all women- felt safe walking/jogging down to and along the beach. I highly recommend this house!

Christine and Jim were amazing hosts and were quick to respond . This home made our 30th Anniversary trip absolutely perfect!

Oct 2021The property is well kept; very nicely furnished with top of the line kitchen appliances, dishes and cookware. The beds were very comfortable; linens were high quality; towels thick and plenty of them. There were 5 adults (family) staying the week and we had plenty of space. The screen porch was an added bonus! We also had my son's dogs with us and the large fenced yard was a blessing. We walked down to Stella's for breakfast or brunch every day and never got tired of the atmosphere and FOOD !! The town of Gulfport - AMAZING!! Quaint, yet upscale shopping - not your typical tourist junk - but nice quality clothing, art, and gifts. And the FOOD!! oh my. We stayed for 7 days and only cooked one meal. We enjoyed trying many of the owners fav restaurants and were not disappointed. The evening walk in Gulfport with lights, lush plants and flowers was such a treat! While the beach was small, it was quiet and there were lovely swings to sit and enjoy the boats anchored just offshore and watch the many birds. It was one of the most relaxing trips I've had in a very long time. Thank you Christine and Jim for your quick responses when we had a question and for allowing me to extend our stay when my flight got cancelled. Oh ! And many of the restaurants had live music every night - a fabulous treat! Beautiful home; perfect lovely town and a memorable family vacation!

Nov 2019Super clean, beautifully decorated, well-equipped house in a quiet street yet only a block and a half from Beach Blvd, so within walking distance of restaurants, shops, galleries, the beach and pier. It really is a home away from home. We thoroughly enjoyed our month here. The covered patio and landscaped, fenced yard were a bonus. Highly recommended.

Big fenced in backyard was cool with shade and breezes that allowed our Husky to stay outside much of the time. Interior of the house is worthy of a permanent residence, so very thankful we had the opportunity to rent it.

Jul 2022Our family of 6 adults relaxed for a week! This home was a great central point for beaches & Tampa. Kitchen is well equipped & we enjoyed 2 nights of grilling. Easy to walk to Gulfport restaurants. The backyard is beautiful! Everything was great! Thank you, the Rainwaters
