Jan 2022What a fabulous property! It was a Christmas stay and there was a rare costal snow. Very beautiful. Our dog, Olive, loved all of the room outside to run. The shipping channel is a bonus. When we saw a ship we rang the ship's bell so no one missed it. There were multiple ships every day. The basket of blankets is a nice touch that we enjoyed. The kitchen is very well equipped so we cooked every meal. We would like to come back in the summer to use the outdoor furniture and fire pit. Overall it was a wonderful stay!

Sep 2020We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Hammond. The home is very private located at the very end of the road. The view of the Columbia river is unique and special. The host is accessible and attentive. The layout of the home is ideal for any group and the amenities are in point. I do hope we have a chance to return.

Feb 2021We spent the weekend with our adult siblings and all of our kids. There were activities and features in this home to satisfy everyone from teen to an infant. The attention to detail that this homeowner puts into this property is truly remarkable (I am a frequent VRBO renter). The location is great, close to everything but with a secluded feel. I highly recommend!

Jul 2022We rented this home because it was so close to the Fort Stevens State Park, where our relatives were camping. It was perfect for that, but it was far better than we expected. We have stayed in many VRBO homes, but this one was, by far, the best supplied of all of them. Whatever we needed, it was there. A very comfortable home with a beautiful view and lots of wildlife. We saw deer, elk, eagles, and many other birds. We also loved watching the fishing boats coming and going. Besides being close to the campground, it was also close to restaurants, a Fred Meyer and other stores, while having a small-town feel. Loved it!

Sep 2020We really enjoyed our Labor Day weekend stay at the HH. The home was very well equipped and had everything we needed. The Columbia River view with ships, boats and birds was terrific. The stereo system hooked to smart TV was very nice. The fire pit, grill, pool table and yard games were super. There was great access to running and biking with bikes included. We even had a small herd of elk move through the front yard.

The view is wonderful & loved watching the pelicans diving as the fishing boats & ships go by. We definitely want to rent this again next year! We are grateful for our stay!

Aug 2022We have stayed at the Hammond Hilton 2 times. We love the location along the river. They have done a few up grades since our last visit. New deck and gas fire pit. How nice. Everything you need is at the house for a nice vacation!

Jul 2021We had a wonderful weekend stay at the Hammond Hilton. The home was beautiful and well equipped with comfortable beds and a well-stocked kitchen for cooking meals. This was truly one of our best Vrbo experiences ever. We hope to be back.

Jan 2021We had a lovely stay. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. We were able to work without any wifi issues. The hosts had thoughtful touches such as individually wrapped masks, hand sanitizer, and a no-touch soap dispenser in the kitchen. The house has a lovely view of the Colombia River with huge ships passing by and some visiting elk in the front yard. This was a great way to spend a winter weekend.

Aug 2021We had a great time. The house was nice and had everything we needed. We came from Texas which is really hot in August and enjoyed the cooler weather. The house has nice outside decks and seating. The view of the water is nice also.

Oct 2022We fished, crabbed, biked, played games, walked. We enjoyed every minute of this amazing house. Could not have been better! Clean, cozy, Beau fully decorated, Well stocked beyond belief.

Aug 2020We came for opening day of salmon. However the fishing didn’t work out. The guys caught a lot of crabs for us though. We shopped gambled site seeing and beach. Good trip!

Oct 2020This was one of the more nicely equipped vacation houses we have rented. It felt like you were simply guests of the homeowner. It had everything you could ever need or want in a vacation home. The views were beautiful. Large ships and small boats were frequently going by on the river. The area is quite diverse as well. There was lots of wildlife, and sea life, from river otters to elk to whales to seals to porpoises. Plus salmon to catch in the river for dinner. We highly recommend this house and area as a place to stay and explore!!

My 3 year old loved watching the boats go by everyday and so did we! We also loved waking up with coffee and an ocean view! It was equipped with basically everything we needed plus some! The owners were so generous and kind and very quick to respond to questions! We loved our stay here and will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend staying here!
