Jan 2022We were a group of four adults having a much needed relief from the numerous lockdowns. The chalet was perfect for our needs - two separate bathrooms and kitchen. The owners were prompt in their responses to our queries. The kitchen was fully equipped and the whole place was immaculate. Overall, it was a great holiday, thank you.

Jul 2019We are regular visitors to Hotham and Dinner Plain is the perfect base for all activities that the mountain has to offer. Snokomo is in an excellent location (walking distance to pub/restaurants/etc). It is a very cozy and comfortable lodge that really feels like home. Fully equipped with everything you need. The bedrooms are warm and comfortable. Leonie and Jim are fantastic hosts that go out of their way to make the stay even more comfortable. Will definitely be using the place every time we come up to Hotham, winter for skiing and summer for MTB riding and hiking.

Oct 2022Very well provided accommodation. One of the best properties I have ever stayed at. Everything has been thought of. Dinner Plain very quiet as just out of snow season but that just added to the relaxation. The temperature around 6 during the day and down to minus some nights still which added to the alpine experience. Snokomo was warm and cosy and the wood fire a great feature. Plenty of wood provided by owner.Snow still at Mt Hotham 10 minutes up the road, enough for tobogganing which the children loved. Would definitely recommend this property. Fantastic.

We were so grateful for the firewood, the well-fitted out kitchen and the eco-friendly cleaning products. We also enjoyed the picture board showing the family and friends building Snokomo. It is clearly a well-loved place with rich history. Thank you for sharing it with us!

Jan 2021The home is well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen, water pressure is great, hot water is very hot, no tempering valve I'm guessing. Beds were a little soft for my personal taste, not that it stopped me getting a good nights sleep.
Home was very clean upon arrival, everything worked and was in good order. Access instructions were clear and simple to follow.
Only regret was only staying 2 nights. We booked this place as it had a full size kitchen making self catering easy, however there are more restaurants at Dinner Plain than I realised.
Also it's not nearly as busy as Bright! Definitely worth it.

Sep 2019Thank you so much for letting us stay at your cosy cabin. It had all the creature comforts and more that we had forgotten about (flour for pancakes). It was better than what we were expecting. Although it was nearing end of snow season there was still great patches of snow and we still loved it.
