Aug 2019What a great weekend and place to spend time. The whales greeted us with a lovely show.
The house was nice and well appointed. All furniture was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. There were things in the cupboard that we normally don’t find (spices, coffee, paper towels, syrup, detergent for W/d).
But this house is all about the view. It’s no less than spectacular.
The only strange thing is that you have to go through someone else’s bedroom to get to the shower. For us it was no problem, but maybe different for another group.

Oct 2022We were expecting a simple walk to the beach because we had our 36 year old severely handicap Daughter with us. It was a drive down the road and under hwy. 101. It has beautiful views overlooking Beverly beach. It was an absolutely beautiful weekend!! Pretty much everything was there. It would have been nice to have a larger fry pan for making breakfast for 6 people.

Aug 2022We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hideaway! It was a quiet neighborhood, views were beautiful, and we loved the location. It was a very short drive to Beverly Beach. The house was comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, and we felt very much at home. Would definitely stay here again!

Dec 2014We loved our stay in this house overlooking the majestic ocean! Our family of 6 adults enjoyed hanging out, relaxing, just taking in the views. It is a clean, comfortable place, which is what we wanted for our holiday time together. We walked to Beverly Beach. It is a close drive to Newport, where there are great restaurants (Georgies, Local Ocean, Chowder Bowl). We hope to return someday to Newport and this lovely house!

Sep 2018We loved our stay here!! The view was amazing! The house is really nice. Our grand kids loved it. It was only 8 min from where my niece got married. We thought it would be a lot further. It was perfect! The beach access was close! I would definitely stay here again Thank you so much!

Jun 2019We didn't want to leave! Cozy and comfortable...feels like home. And the view is amazing. I was a little worried about being on the other side of the road but you can't even see or hear the road and traffic. Would definitely stay here again.

Hwy 101 is below property, however, you do not hear the traffic due to sound of ocean. Can’t see road unless you try really hard!
King and queen beds are upstairs with a shared bath. Note..the tub/shower are upstairs. Stairs are pretty steep and did make it a little hard for elderly mother. Half bath is downstairs. Beds were very comfortable!
Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Communication with owner was fast and easy.
The only complaint is the housekeeping. Shower curtain was very moldy, stains on carpets, freezer dirty, bedspreads need washed. Hand prints on windows. But we still enjoyed our stay.

Aug 2020Very nice vacation home! comfortable floor plan and an unobstructed view of the ocean! Loved falling asleep hearing the ocean and feeling the breeze. Very comfortable beds. I especially loved the back and side yards park like setting.
Glad I brought my own outdoor lounge chairs. Overall very nice vacation home in a quiet beach community.
The only thing I noticed negative was the windows could have used a cleaning, and the gas grill a wipe down before new guests arrive.

Nov 2018Two families with 6 adults shared the rental for Thanksgiving. The 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath residence sits just south of Beverly Beach State Park on the edge of a bluff immediately east of US highway 101. But the elevation combined with the ocean noise make the highway a negligible factor. The ocean dominates the view from the four large windows that span the west wall. The two bedrooms upstairs likewise have excellent ocean views. The kitchen has everything one could ever need for meal prep, with the ocean view a constant, whether setting up coffee or engaged in food prep. Beach access was convenient from nearby Beverly Beach State Park (the streets leading up to the residence from Highway 101 are pretty narrow to walk directly). Newport is a short drive south, with the Otter Crest loop, Devil's Punchbowl State Park and Cape Foulweather equally close to the north. The 55' Samsung TV made for great football viewing over the extended holiday. We were very pleased with the entire set up and and will definitely come back. We highly recommend you consider this venue.

Thank you so much and I think we all agreed that will be making this a yearly trip. And a longer stay. We definitely didn’t want to leave.

Jun 2021This was a great place to stay for a family vacation on the Oregon coast. Beautiful views of the lighthouse and ocean sunsets from the backyard. Beds are comfortable. Well stocked. Even had toys for the kids to play with. Communication with property manager is outstanding! Will definitely stay here again.

May 2019This is a great home. We have used over alomost a dozen VRBO homes in the last 6 yrs and this is the best one of all of them. 6 of us stayed there and we were never cramped. THe kitchen dining and family room look out on 180 degrees ocean views. Very relaxing, very quiet and a short walk to Beverly Beach. We will definately make this house our 1st choice when booking in the future.

Jul 2020This home was perfect for our family of 4 with 2 teens. In between Lincoln City and Newport and just off of 101, we were able to explore both north and south and get home fast. Beverly Beach is beautiful and so close. The house was very clean and supplied with more cleaning supplies as needed. With COVID, we did mostly outdoor things and got take out, but the kitchen was well equipped. With a lighthouse in view, we were also happy just to sit and read and enjoy the sunsets. Be sure to get outside after dark, as the star gazing is incredible. Thanks Tracy for a great stay.
