Das Hotel liegt im Herzen von Ashbourne in der Macedon Ranges, ‚The Retreat‘ in Amryhouse ist ein eigenständiges, schön eingerichtete, luxuriöse Victorian Miners Cottage. 'The Retreat' wurde kürzlich in die Macedon Ranges gestartet. Es ist ein neu gebautes freistehendes Haus gebaut mit einem Auge, um den Stil von gestern einzufangen. Es bietet eine private Unterkunft für zwei Personen in seiner offenen Bauweise. Der Wohnbereich verfügt über eine Küchenzeile (nur BBQ Electric), eine Chesterfield-Couch, einen Flachbildfernseher und einen Kingsize-Bett. Heizen / Kühlen ist durch Reverse-Zyklus Klimaanlage.
Ganz gleich, aus welchem Grund Sie in Ashbourne Urlaub machen, "The Retreat" bietet alles, was Sie zum Entspannen brauchen. Das einzige Geräusch ist das Rascheln von Känguru! Das Bad verfügt über eine gusseiserne Badewanne für einen gemütlichen einweichen. Wenn Sie für einige Ausfallzeit von der Hektik des täglichen Lebens suchen wir Sie.
"The Retreat" befindet sich auf einem ruhigen, 20 Hektar großen Grundstück von der Hauptwohnung. Das Anwesen ist teilweise Busch- und Teilentwicklungsgärten. Ein Mod-Rasen-Tennisplatz steht den Gästen zur Verfügung. Eine private gemauerte gepflasterte Fläche außerhalb der Hütte ist auch ein ausgezeichneter Ort, um lokalen Wein zu probieren, den Sie vielleicht von einem der Macedon Ranges Weinkellereien aufgedeckt haben.
Die Macedon Ranges hat viel zu bieten. Fahrzeit nach Woodend Village (10 Minuten), Hanging Rock (20 Minuten), Mt. Macedon Cross (25 Minuten), Kyneton mit seiner berühmten Piper Street (22 Minuten), Trentham (13 Minuten) und Daylesford (34 Minuten).
Bei ‚The Retreat‘ finden Sie Privatsphäre, unaufdringlichen Luxus und einfachen Zugang zu den fabelhaften Speisen und Weine in den nahe gelegenen Städten genießen. Ein frischer Korb mit Frühstücksgut ist natürlich inklusive. (Brot, Getreide, Obst & Joghurt)

Jun 2018What a beautiful cottage with such attention to detail. A delight inside and out deep within the bush. Kangaroos greeted us. Could not find a more peaceful spot for a weekend away. Many thanks Mary for all you did to make it a wonderful stay.

May 2017We requested a short notice sta.y The Retreat was very well appointed warm & cosy the surrounds and ambience proved fantastic. When we awoke the next morning we were greated by kangaroos and spectacular birdlife. We will book longer next time!

Sep 2022This is the most beautiful and clean cottage that we had ever stayed in . So peaceful, a place where you can really recharge your batteries. It is close to great restaurants, walking trails and fishing , everything that me and my husband love. We will be definitely going back again.

Jan 2020The Retreat at Amryhouse is extraordinary. Set in a natural tranquil environment with both manicured and emerging gardens, it offers a level of privacy and luxurious amenities that discerning romantic couples aspire to enjoy on their getaways. But it is not simply the setting, or the warm welcome that sets this place apart. It is also the attention to detail and the quality fittings that Mary and Derek have incorporated into the cottage, that make it exceptional. I don’t want to say anymore. I want this little drop of heaven to be my little secret. I selfishly want this place to be available whenever I choose. Because I have every intention of returning (repeatedly). In the meantime, if you’re considering this place or somewhere else, I suggest you choose this one. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Oct 2019The peace and quiet of this delightful cottage is perfect for anyone wanting to get away from it all. A beautiful setting with picture perfect views from every window. Gum trees out the back and beautiful lush green lawns out the front where kangaroos graze. The cottage is extremely well built and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family.

May 2017The cottage and grounds at Amryhouse are terrific. We enjoyed the relaxed and picturesque bush setting by day and enjoyed the local restaurants i.e. Colgate Brewery and The Cosmopolitan Hotel by evening. The cottage break was a great way to wind down & rest. It is brand new, very well decorated and has everything you could want for a peaceful and private country break. We can't wait to return & explore more of the beautiful Macedon Ranges

We loved every moment of our stay, the cottage was amazing, the location was perfect and the wildlife (kangaroos) was beautiful. The perfect place to get away with your partner and just have time to relax and enjoy each others company. Thank you Mary and Derek for your kind and thoughtful hospitality. Oct 2018My husband and I spent 2 nights at The Retreat at Amryhouse. The accommodation was beautiful, with so many thoughtful touches from the host. The surrounding gardens are beautiful and we enjoyed a game of tennis just outside our door. Breakfast provisions were very generous and there was an abundance of lovely quality soaps and toiletries in the bathroom. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and friendly. We hope to stay again !!! Thank you Mary & Derek for a great weekend.

Jan 2023I surprised my partner with a 2-night stay here to celebrate his special birthday. What a delight to have this delicious cottage all to ourselves, tucked out of sight of others, and surrounded by restful green lawn, hedges, kookaburras, kangaroos and assorted trees and flowers! With everything we could need ready and waiting, including a superbly-comfortable king bed, and everything spotless and tastefully appointed, it was so easy to rest and rejuvenate together at the Cottage. I just wish we’d had more time to laze on the sun-kissed verandah with a book and coffee... but what with all the nature walks, cafes and restaurants, antique stores, spas and galleries etc. in this region, we were completely spoilt for options to fill our time. It’s a great problem to have, in this beautiful part of the world! Thanks very much, Mary and Derek. We had a wonderful stay at your property and would love to return another time.

Surrounding towns were a short drive away, close & so beautiful.

The peaceful surrounding gardens & native bush land with the sounds of birds over a lovely bottle of red & cheese was just what we needed relaxing outside in alfresco space.... Not a soul around but us!
The bedding was super comphy & cottage was spotless & loaded with everything you could need. We would love to come back again & highly recommend this stay it’s a true retreat in every sense of the word.
