Jan 2021We loved our stay at Esperance Landing. There was a welcoming bottle of bubbly, fruit in the fruit bowl, wifi, spa and towels all ready to go. We couldn't have asked for more to make our stay relaxing and homely - we used it as a base as we explored the SW for a few days and loved getting back to jump in the spa.

Jan 2020We had a fantastic stay at Esperance landing. The views out to the river are superb and the house has lots of little touches than make it super comfortable and homey. Loved the jacuzzi!! Loved the mattresses!

Sep 2017Unfortunately, we ran out of gas on the Mon afternoon at approx 2.30pm for heating and cooking. I rang Maree at driftwood cottages and left a message saying we were out of gas. All 4 cylinders were empty and left my name. I didn't leave my number as they would have had it on the booking. To date, no call or apology. The property is brilliant but the management isn't.

Apr 2021This house is really special. We stayed for three nights from Hobart and have returned home feeling rested and happy.
We arrived to a beautifully warm house with sparkling wine awaiting us. The place is super clean and well appointed. The view is ever changing and I could have stayed in the spa and watched the river all day - alas - there were three children with us! We explored the little rocky beach down the track, we went exploring the nearby places, ate a million apples from roadside stalls, played hide and seek in and around the house, used the fire pit (we had to buy some wood, but no problem as plenty for sale on the sides of the road around the place - the bush land around the property had been well and truly exhausted of dry sticks!)
We all had a great time and plan to return next year. Thank you!

Aug 2018This home is located in one of the most idealic locations we have ever stayed in. The photos understate how magic this place is. Sitting on the deck at sunrise and sunset is breathtaking and gives the feeling that you really are at the end of the world.

The home is kept in immaculate condition and is extremely clean. We were surprised to find that the house was built in 2012 as it appears brand new. Extremely comfortable beds. Built to keep nice and warm. Every convenience needed. We will definitely return.

Mar 2015There is little reason to venture beyond the gate at Esperance Landing even though it has convenient access to many sites and sights around the Huon Valley. Serenity comes when you are removed from town with a very comfortable and well appointed home stay with modern amenities plus wifi. But we did venture out and were always very happy coming home to such an agreeable place. Indeed, who needs to go to Bellagio?

Mar 2019Recently rented an expensive house in Coles Bay for a week. Happy to pay the right price for the quality. Couldn’t believe how “average” it was when we got there. The reality did not match the photos on their website.
Esperance Landing is not like that at all. You get exactly what they promise and if you like premium accommodation then this house delivers.

Jan 2021Perfect positioning and amazing views, good size home that accommodated 6 adults comfortably. Hot tub was impressive! Would stay again for sure! Although could do with some outdoor curtains on the deck as was quite breezy as it was very close to the water which limited our time on the large outdoor deck.

Mar 2017A beautiful home in a breathtaking spot overlooking the bay . Every modern comfort and so many thoughtful extras ...why didn't we stay longer! Great access to Ida Bay railway,white sandy beaches,friendly Geeveston, Huonville and Cygnet as well as Kettering and the ferry to wonderful Bruny Island and a memorable Bruny Island cruise on a spectacularly sunny March day. Esperance Landing was perfection!
