Jul 2019What a perfect spot for our little getaway! Dave & his wife thought of everything. The fire pit was even ready for us to start the fire up out in the back. We enjoyed time visiting and reading on the expansive front porch, enjoyed hours on the back deck watching beautiful birds, deer & even heard the neighboring horses whineying at night. Next time we will bring our bikes so we can take advantage of the nearby bike trail.

Nov 2022We traveled from out of state to spend Thanksgiving with our son who is attending college near Minneapolis. The cabin was a perfect place for our family of four to celebrate together. Loved the private, wooded location and close proximity to Stillwater. And also watching the chickadees, nuthatches and woodpeckers on the backyard feeders!

Jul 2019We really enjoyed our stay here. Peace and tranquility for we grandparents. Our children live in Lake Elmo and visited us for a few meals and the grandsons loved the game room. We would definitely return.

Sep 2021Went to wedding . Daughter who was getting married got ready at the cabin. Glad there was an iron and ironing board available as the steamer that we brought didn’t work so well. Enjoyed walking in the area, visiting Stillwater . It was just a wonderful relaxing time. Would recommend it to anyone

Oct 2022We love the quiet setting with the beauty of nature. Birds, turkeys and squirrels all visited us. It’s so peaceful yet close to Stillwater action. This was our second year in this location and we hope to have several more.

Feb 2021We had a wonderful long weekend stay! I didn’t realize it would be the coldest weekend of the year when we booked it but we had so much fun! The cabin is very clean and has toys for the kids and adults to play with! Communication with the owners was flawless and they made sure we had everything we needed. We can’t wait to go back!!!

Dec 2021We had a lovely time. The cabin was pretty, well-equipped and even had puzzles, toys and games for our grandkids. We enjoyed watching the deer and the birds at the feeders. When a smoke-detector battery started wearing out and beeping the owner came quickly and changed the battery. (It required a tall ladder.)
The cabin is in a good location, not far from Stillwater. We would rent it again.

Aug 2020We had a family retreat, it was perfect for this gathering. We had a 2 yr old who loved the toys throughout the house and swingset outside. The porch and deck provided excellent seats to watch wildlife and nature. Would like to come again in the future.

Aug 2020We absolutely lived the place. Very spacious and well organized. All the amenities one needs. Truly was a “cabin in the woods” as we were surrounded by wildlife throughout the entire stay. A great place to relax and enjoy quiet time with family.

It was stocked with not only essentials but an abundance of items that made our stay easier and more fun. The gamer room in the basement was a hit and the outdoor patio and bonfire area were the perfect place for us to relax. I would stay here again, recommend it to anyone and can’t think of a thing I would change. I can’t thank the owners enough for allowing us to enjoy their beautiful cabin

Aug 2019This is a cute property in the woods not far from outdoor activities like horseback riding and great biking and also close to the attractions of Stillwater. We were initially put off by the number of American flags and related decorations outside the house but overall enjoyed our stay.

Sep 2022This cabin was perfect for our sibling get-together. Great location in the country, peaceful & quiet, but also conveniently close to town. Enjoyed every aspect of our stay....the nice front porch complete with tables & rocking chairs, the big deck overlooking the beautiful backyard, and the firepit. The inside of the cabin is nicely furnished and comfortable. Great master suite & a fun game room downstairs. Saw deer, wild turkeys, and lots of birds in the yard every day. The owner was prompt to reply to a request we had made and very accommodating. I would highly recommend this cabin. It's a simply lovely home in a gorgeous setting.

Sep 2020This beautiful cabin is just as it says. While there are groceries, etc. within 15 or 20 minutes, it is located on a quiet and gorgeous country road with fresh vegetables growing in its garden, wild turkeys and deer wandering around in the backyard and neighboring horse and cow farms. I could certainly imagine bringing my young kids to stay -- they would have a blast -- but this was just me and two friends for a 25 year college reunion weekend. A few friends of friends stopped by from time to time. The property represents well, lives better and is fully equipped to suit a wide variety of tastes and needs. AWESOME. We'll be back. Thank you, Dave!!!

Oct 2021The stay was everything in the description and more! Very comfortable we loved the wild life, had dear in the back yard every morning at about 9am. Only two upgrades, these are more of a preference then anything. I would recommend new shower heads with a place this nice you would expect a better quality. Also some thine throw blankets formovie watching at night.

Sep 2021There were 4 of us on a girls weekend. The property was so cute, peaceful, quiet and inviting. We all felt relaxed immediately. The home was well stocked and had everything we needed. It is a short drive to Stillwater and White Bear Lake, both quaint communities. Just beautiful and perfect stay.

Aug 2019The first thing my husband said when we checked in is give him a five start rating after he found the Icy beer mugs in the freezer! Overall my entire family was pleasantly surprised by all the little extras. The toys for the kids were perfect! The yard, fire wood, grill and front porch were perfect for us to hang out and enjoy time together! Fully stocked kitchen, linens provided and paper items. We would definitely book again!

Jun 2019The Cabin was wonderful, very nice floor plan. Fully stocked kitchen with all the dishes and cook ware you need. Nice deck in the back and a nice porch on the front. Very peaceful, a nice relaxing atmosphere. Would stay here again.

Jun 2021The cabin was everything we thought it would be and more! There was a nice area to be outside but also had room inside for days when it got too hot. I would recommend this property to anyone! It also was only 10 minutes from Stillwater but still far enough away to enjoy the quiet.

Nov 2021The 5 of us loved our stay at the cabin in the woods! Great space inside and out! Easily accommodates several people. Clean, easy to find and beautiful drive. (Great water pressure in the showers too. Always a bonus). Dave even came out to the place to shovel after a snowfall. 😀
