Popham Beachfront und Oceanfront Cottage

Wonderful house, wonderful location - wish we could have stayed longer.

Very helpful owner who supplied us with kayak paddles, which we had forgotten, and sheets, which we hadn't realized we needed to bring. Bedrooms are very small, but the living area is expansive, with such a beautiful view.

The weather was beautiful for October in Maine. While we did explore the area the best part of the week was sitting on the lawn watching the boats, seals and never ending parade of sea birds. The property itself was immaculately clean and very well furnished. The kitchen , living room , and dining room all had wonderful big windows if we just chose to sit inside and watch the goings on outside. The two pairs of binoculars got a lot of use! The rooms themselves were spacious and inviting. The bedrooms are small but cozy and the beds were comfortable. Dealing with Jonathan was a pleasure, he personally called me after I made the booking just to check in and say hi. It was a great experience from start to finish.

The house was perfect !! Well-stocked with essentials, clean, welcoming, and and just perfect. Location could not be beat !!Jonathan was fabulous to work with.He responded to my messages promptly and was a perfect host. I stayed for 2 weeks with extended family visiting in shifts. Plenty of room for 7 adults.Plan to rebook for next year !!

Our family's vacation at Jonathan's property was wonderful. The spacious living/dining was perfect for our family to be together and comfortably visit, enjoy the ocean sights from the large pictures windows and have multiple cribbage games going on at the same time. The large yard allowed for us to play whiffle ball, croquet, frisbee and/or read and relax in the chairs. The ocean is just steps away from the property, couldn't be better. Jonathan was available and attentive to our needs.Highly recommend! We are a family of 5 adults, 2 children and an infant. Looking forward to next year!

It was a very nice cottage . The location was wonderful,easy access to water. Owners very receptive to our questions.

I loved the house and the location. When we weren’t walking the beach we watched others walking, fishing and boating. It was big enough and very comfortable. My only suggestion would be to let people know ahead of time that they should bring their own sheets and towels. Other rentals I’ve been to through VRBO had clean sheets and towels bagged up in each room ready for people to put on their beds. I was lucky I brought plenty with me because I had 3 disabled men with me and they have a hard time with a top sheet so I brought fitted sheets and blankets of my own. If I were coming with my family I wouldn’t have brought them. Other than that it was great!

Great relaxing vacation, cottage has everything you need to prepare all you meals, comfortable beds and best of all a great view.
