Jun 2020What a restful setting for a get away. Lovely place with everything you need to enjoy a stay either short or long. Nicely decorated and easy with our little dogs who enjoyed the stay as much as we did.

Jul 2020We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kachina Pueblo. We loved being tucked back in the woods and able to enjoy nature. Chuck & Mimi are very accommodating. We will definitely recommend this cabin to friends and family. And hope to return soon.

Jul 2020We stayed at this home with such an amazing view for two nights and had a blast! The owners live right next door, but we still had our privacy. We enjoyed the short hike to the top of the mountain. The view from the top is incredible. We loved feeling like we were in the middle of nowhere but being in town, close to restaurants and shops. Our dogs were comfortable, using the dog run and enjoyed our little walks. The inside of the home is comfortable. They supply a lot of cookware, toiletries, and paper/cleaning products. We didn’t use the gym or sauna, but so glad the options were there. Overall, great experience and we’ll likely be going back!

Jun 2021We stayed 3 nights had a great view of mountains. Walking trails nearby.Owners were excellent in responses and answering in timely manner. Very peaceful. Saw Elk and coyote wondering through. Pet friendly is a huge plus. Will definatly be visiting again.

Jun 2020We rented this property just to get away for the night and escape the heat. The space is adequate and we had everything we needed while we were there. The the view from the patio was fantastic and the highlight of our stay! Another plus is the location - close to town but feels very secluded.
One disappointment was the lack of a thorough cleaning - especially during our pandemic. The kitchen sink under the rack was dirty, the placemats on the kitchen table had crumbs under them, the master bathroom toilet was dirty and the shutters in the master bedroom were covered in dust. In addition the carpet on the main floor has tons of stains and the patio railing is loose and would have been concerning for us if kids were along.
We are not picky people and have rented many other cabins in the past. This place has the potential to be amazing, but for the price we felt it needed a better cleaning and some TLC.

Apr 2022We rented this property for 2 days and when we got there the house was everything and more from the description on vrbo. The view was out of this world! We were so comfortable here that by the time we had to leave we didn't want to go. We definitely will be booking this property again!!

Jun 2020We loved our stay. Room to spread out. Great view. Loved the deck, enjoyed the sauna. The bed was comfortable. We’d love to go back for a longer stay. If I was the owner, I’d cut down the dead trees, provide extra TP, and wash the dog slobber off the slider.

Jun 2021Well equipped guest house with beautiful views. Very comfortable bed. Easy check in/check out and easy to find - mostly paved road, only one small section gravel. Very dog friendly - and fenced dog run appreciated. We would rent here again.

Jun 2021We had to come for a celebration of life for a longtime family friend. The location of the rental house was perfect. Close to town yet secluded so we could have our time together. I think our pooch enjoyed the property much more than any of us humans. Cool places to hike around the property and catch some beautiful views of Payson. The home is well stocked with anything you could need as far as cooking meals etc. I don't think we could have picked a better home than Kachina 0ueblo for this trip.

Nov 2022We enjoyed the privacy and the natural beauty surrounding the location of this VRBO. We loved the sauna, the views and the coziness! It was definitely a bonus also that they were dog friendly!

Aug 2021We are 75+ and made the mistake of assuming the stairs on the inside were very few but from the kitchen, living room upstairs to the bedrooms and bathrooms there were more than we expected. We managed to make it upstairs in any case and the views were wonderful.It could have been a bit cleaner as there were crumbs on the kitchen floor and the counters as well as the kitchen floor being sticky but after I vacuumed and mopped all was well. I didn't really mind so I would recommend a stay in this lovely home. The owners live right beside the home but they were gone the entire time but that wasn't a problem.

Mar 2022Very nice location and a great view at the top of the hill overlooking Payson. Very close to family we were visiting. Very quiet location. There are a couple of things that could be fixed. The faucets in both bath rooms need the filters cleaned so they don't spray all over the sink. Overall we enjoyed our stay and have recommended it to family and friends. If you are towing a trailer there isn't enough space to park it at this location. Chuck informed me of that before I came. Thanks for that information. Plenty of towels and clean sheets. Washer and dryer are new and in good shape. We travel with a Golden Retriever, lots of room for her to run.

Sep 2021This was such a super find, and not too far from where we live. It was so much more than we expected, and was a fantastic location at the top of a hill looking down at the town of Payson. The property itself was excellent, with many unexpected extras. We will certainly be staying here again as we live just 100 miles away. The owners were very nice and responsive.

Nov 2021This was a great place to escape for a couple of nights. The view is amazing! The kitchen had all kinds of dishware and small appliances (kuerig, blender, coffee pot, tea kettle). We didn't use the sauna or the workout equipment. We loved this quiet out-of-the-way place.

Oct 2022This property hosts amazing views over Payson and the beautiful mountains. Parking is limited and driveway is very steep, so no trailers or multiple cars.

May 2020The view was breathtaking !!! It was so quiet at night we could hear the wildlife. Willow Springs was my fishing destination and it was only 30 minutes away. The owners own artwork was an added comforting touch. I ll definitely be returning soon !

May 2020The view was awesome. Very quiet and peaceful. The kitchen lacking in good pots and pans. Some unusable. Bring your own if you plan on cooking. No lighter to light bbq. Needs mat in shower. Very slippery. Owner changed our original booking date then I received messages while staying that he overbooked our last night and we may have to leave. Very odd. Overall we had a nice visit and enjoyed it.

Jan 2021The location and house itself was perfect for us! We enjoyed hiking on the property around us daily and the scenic views were beautiful! Inside the home was cozy and lots of sun light. We enjoyed the sauna/ steam and gym area daily. It was very quiet as the property is nestled away in the trees. We enjoyed the big screen TV at night, watched a great movie- My Octopus Tescher. We will definitely be returning. 🙏🏻

Oct 2021Second time here. Property is close to town on top of one of the highest points in Payson. The views are amazing and the nights are beautifull with the town of Payson lit up below. Close to many things to do and the property owners are very nice. Pet friendly is a plus, my Great Pyrenees loves the deck with the commanding view , will be back in the spring!!

Nov 2020Scheduled to stay 4 nights over Thanksgiving weekend and didn’t make it one night in this rental. Cleanliness was unsatisfactory and when mentioned to the owner (which lives right next door) to possibly schedule cleaning or alternate remedy he storms over and pounds on the door and refuses to see the issues. He storms out and in passing says he will give us a refund if we leave. Just drove 2 hours to get there to only turn around and leave an hour later, keep in mind it is now 9:15pm! The house is also unsafe for pets and children as the 15 ft. balcony has broken and missing railing. The owner attempted to bandaid this problem with a 2foot wire fence that will fail to keep kiddos and pets from a fatal fall. Needless to say, very disappointed and our vacation plans ruined.
