While the property owners were extremely quick in responding to messages, the property itself was lackluster.
Both houses smelled very musty upon our arrival. The back porch had several nails sticking out that posed an issue when walking to the pool. The seating area on the porch was lovely (at some point); however, the cushions were dirty/stained and it was apparent nothing had been swept in a while (lots of debris and cobwebs).
Inside the house, the refrigerator leaked daily -- so much so that we kept towels on the floor to avoid slipping. In the master bath, the barn door used to shield the toilet did not close all the way and actually came completely detached from the track after a few days. There was a broom in the front closet, but no dustpan, so we had to use cardboard to transfer dirt to the trashcan.
The bunkbeds in the kids room were awesome except for the mattresses. All 4 kids complained about how difficult they were to sleep on.
In the guest house, there was nowhere to put our clothes (except to hang items in the closet), so we had to live out of our suitcase the entire time. It was also filled with cobwebs and dead bugs. The shower had amazing pressure, but the showerhead was coming out of the wall. The drain also wasnt working properly and filled up with several inches of water during a short shower. The
bathroom door scraped the floor, making if hard to close.
Luckily, the pool was AWESOME!

Nice home with pool house. We enjoyed the Pool, grill, and fire pit areas. Pool towels were provided along with pool noodles. We were comfortable and enjoyed our time there.

This house was perfect for our family. Very comfortable, plenty of space, located perfectly in town, and had a pool! We made the decision to stay in a house with a pool vs the lake, and it was great! We will definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely time, and the kids adored the pool. The house had a well-equipped large kitchen to cook family-style meals, the grill was a nice amenity, and the back yard was quiet and wooded in addition to having the pool. The location was convenient to the lake and hiking. We highly recommend it!

While the house is close to the lake, you can have a great trip without even getting out on the water. When not in the lovely pool, we enjoyed hiking the nearby trails. The house is spacious and comfortable with room for everyone. We had a great time!

While the house is close to the lake, you can have a great trip without even getting out on the water. When not in the lovely pool, we enjoyed hiking the nearby trails. The house is spacious and comfortable with room for everyone. We had a great time!

We were a group of 3 couples & 3 teens for a total of 9. The house was spacious with a great layout for our needs. We were not on top of each other. The TV room had very comfy couches that kept the kids (young teens) content during the rain. The outside sitting area & pool were the highlight in between the rain. The house is centrally located, for convenience. Since the rain spoiled our lake plans, we hope to try again with better weather & will def try book this property.

The overall property was charming, but there were several disappointing experiences. At arrival there was an overwhelming perfume used and for those that suffer with asthma it was difficult to breathe. On property, the sliding door that led to the guest house, pool and yard was in poor condition and it was very difficult to open and close. The outdoor garbage was also completely full upon our arrival.
Our experience communicating with the owner was either non-existent or we were met with very rigid and unfriendly communication. At the end of our stay we were unfairly charged stating that we had smoked on property and no one in our party smoked or used any form of smokeless tobacco. When we tried to contact the owner about the additional charge there was no response.

The pool could use two steps for getting in and out as it is raised out of the ground several feet. The small children had to be helped up and down the pool side. We took steaks and food to cook for the week on grill . The grill is a cheaper gas grill and pretty bad shape and we had to fill the propane tank. Unless the grill is replaced I would not count on it. Other than that the stay was great. There is a floor vent in the den beside the patio door that is not bolted down to the floor and moves easily and is a hazard. We just put a pair of flip flops over it to keep any one from falling in it. Street is nice and quiet. Yard was mowed mid week and the grandkids were able to run around and have fun. Lightening bugs are amazing at dusk. Over all a great week.

This is a good property for a group. We stayed a week and really enjoyed the heated pool and the space available to eat and socialize. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, the location is close to stores and food, access to the lake and walking trails is very easy. Definitely would rent again.

Central location in town but quiet!
We really liked the house. It is an older home that's been renovated nicely. With my older mother one issue to consider was stairs and this house is one level. There are 3 going into the home and 6 going down in the back but has railing. The heated pool is very nice but does not have hand railing so we did have to help my mom in and out of it. The back patio is charming with different varieties of birds so going in the morning. If there are many in your group bring extra chairs. The house is close to everything in town and only a mile? Away from the neatest marina. We had a great time and communication with the owner was easy. They would answer promptly if you had questions. We will stay here again.

I have stayed at many VRBO’s and was overly impressed with the Oasis’s, and it lives up to its name... The host had every amenity needed, plus some. We cherished many great moments near the fire and around the pool! The accommodations surpassed our expectations and made for many great times with family friends that cannot be replicated. We had a small bump in the road because of a storm that came in before we arrived, but Tim and Deva had the problem resolved immediately! I look forward to staying here in the future.

Beautiful place
This house is beautiful, very well maintained and it was worth the money. Had a lot more than expected. One advise will be to request to turn pool heater ahead of time but we really didn’t even need it.

Gorgeous Home
This home is cozy, clean and so much FUN! The time and effort the homeowners put into making the home a welcoming and delightful place to stay is clear and so well done. From the kitchen to the bedrooms (our boys loved the bunk beds and constellations on the wall) to the dining room and sitting areas, everything is impeccably designed. We also LOVED the pool and used it everyday of our stay. The home is also centrally located in Heber Springs, so we were able to explore so many hiking trails and attractions, swing by the house for lunch and head back out. We had a fantastic stay and highly recommend it!

They nailed the 2 things most important to us- updated/clean + heated pool. The kids loved it. Close to town and lake attractions. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Excellent place!
We spent almost a week at this house and we absolutely loved it!The place was pristine which was so important to us during the pandemic.House was very functional with plenty of space indoor and outside. Backyard is separated from the pool which was great given that we had a toddler with us.The location is very convenient and close to the beaches, trails and Walmart.We will definitely be back and some of our friends plan to rent the property in the near future.

Great Getaway
The house was exactly what our family of 4 wanted it to be. A nice quiet getaway where we did not have to leave for anything. The pool was perfect for our two kids to play in all day but when they needed a break from the sun there was plenty of space inside to spread out and all have our own space to continue relaxing.
We did not end up using the firepit because the week we were there was pretty hot, but it was a nice thing to have. Instead we found ourselves back poolside at night using the lounge chairs to star gaze.
In addition to the pool, there are 2 trees on the other side of the backyard that were the perfect distance apart for the camping hammock we brought which provided a great spot to read especially first thing in the morning when it was quiet and cooler.
We can’t really rate the town as we didn’t really leave the house, but there is a Walmart right up the road for any groceries that you may need and the kitchen was well stocked and even had S’more sticks for the fire pit.
All-in-all it was a great vacation and we would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay!
We had such an amazing time and the property is beautiful. The pool is very secluded and there are plenty of seats and a table for relaxing. They also have an awesome fire pit for s’mores. The inside of the house was perfect. We had a lot of space to relax and the dining room table was big enough for our family of 7. We had some minor issues, but Tim was extremely responsive and handled them in a quick and timely manner. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and it’s a great location. You are close to hiking and the lake! I would highly recommend!

Difficult to deal with
The property itself was ok. Some broken items (we had issues with the refrigerator and dryer, garbage cans overflowing with no place to put trash) and a weird cat urine smell in the entry. The pool is off to the side of the house, instead of directly behind, but it was nice to have a pool. But the property owner, who is his own property manager, was a the hardest person to deal with. He was not easy to reach. When we tried to call another property manager listed in the rental agreement and she explained she was not the manager. There are cameras all over the property, including INSIDE the house (we covered that one up). Honestly we would have just left but had met family there and didn't want to abandon the long planned trip. A month after checking out, he sent a note accusing us of smoking in the house and demanding a large sum for "ozone" cleaning fee. We explained that we had not smoked on the property or inside (why a month late reaching out?) and as he continued to press I was forced to contact VRBO who agreed with our handling and suggested we not respond further. We have rented VRBOs many times, always with great experiences and we have given and received great reviews. But this experience was odd. If you have other options, I would strongly encourage you to avoid this property.

Wonderful Family Vacation Enjoyed by All Ages
We enjoyed our stay in Heber Springs very much. It was so nice to get away for awhile . Grandchildren loved the pool and there was plenty of space for everyone. House was very well maintained and comfortable. We rented pontoon boat from Eden Isle Marina and tubed one day. Lots of good memories made.

Perfect get away
We wanted to get out of town for a quick girls weekend and this was the perfect place! There was plenty of room for us and the house was very clean. We appreciated the amount if towels available! The kitchen was also stocked with plenty of dishes and a nice assortment of spices and pantry staples.

Perfect family weekend getaway
My family and I were looking for quiet, relaxing time away from crowds but with plenty to entertain the kids. This house met all of those requirements! The pool was our favorite part! House was very nice in a peaceful neighborhod, yet conveniently located near everything. I enjoyed drinking coffee on the porch each morning and the kids enjoyed the campfire at night. Owners very responsive to messages and accommodating. Would not hesitate to book again in future and shared with friends. Thanks for the memorable stay!

Girls getaway
The house is lovely. The old established neighborhood is very quiet and calming. As a group of 4 friends just wanting a place to spend some time away together this house was a great choice. The pool was wonderful to float around in! The lake is only a short drive away. My only request would be to fix the sliding door to the patio. It takes some muscle to open and close!

A True Oasis
The house is located in a quiet neighborhood with towering pines. the home is nicely updated and comfortable with plenty of room to spread out and relax. We appreciated the pool as it was a popular place to hang out in the evening and watch the fireflies as well as fireworks. Jan was responsive to any needs including checking out the AC immediately upon our arrival

This is an amazing property. It was perfect for our family getaway. House was very clean and a great place for families. House is beautifully decorated and the pool/deck/backyard provided a wonderful place for us to relax. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
