We love staying here at the Taste of Talkeetna. The house is vert clean, spacious and comfortable. It is very conveniently located to Talkeetna. Sandra has so many amenities. I would definitely love to come back again.

We stopped here on our way between Fairbanks and Anchorage. The host was awesome with communicating and how they have the house supplied with everything you need was a treat. The directions to the house were good and the check in process was easy. Very relaxing place in the woods. We walked downtown when we arrived and bought some local craft items to remember our stay. It was my wife and my first trip to Alaska, and we brought our two granddaughters along to let them see the last frontier.

The house was set up extremely well for a family and all of the details were very appreciated. The little things made the difference...the spices, the detailed handbook, and access to washer/dryer. Highly recommended for a family stay or for a set of friends.

We had a wonderful time in Talkeetna. The house was so perfect that I wish we had planned for a longer trip. The bird feeders we filled and plenty of birds stopped by. We loved walking to downtown for food and drinks. I don’t know if it was the long hikes, but the bed was super comfortable.

Clean. Cozy, comfortable and convenient! My husband and I stayed here with our 4 children. Plenty of room. Lovely amenities. Sweet extras like gourmet coffee, spices, condiments, food staples, luxury bathing products, otc medicines. So quiet and yet an easy walk into center of Talkeetna. Hosts are gracious and accommodating. Thank you !!

This house had everything we needed and more! Slept comfortably with a family of 5 adults. We stopped in Talkeetna for a night on our way to Denali and the location was great. Would certainly stay again!

Perfect space for our two families! Total of 7 slept comfortably (4 adults and 3 kids). They had everything! Even some games. Bathroom was well stocked with essentials as was the kitchen. The rooms were very comfortable and had black out curtains. Property had a great bonfire set up in the outdoor area with wood. The location was perfect as well - close to downtown Talkeetna. We have a super fun 4th of July! Truly a gem. Thank you!

This was my family's favorite place we stayed at during our week in Alaska. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was awesome and washer/dryer was nice for doing laundry mid trip. Location was quiet.

Perfect Little Big House in Talkeetna
Perfect space for our two families! Total of 7 slept comfortably (4 adults and 3 kids). They had everything! Even some games. Bathroom was well stocked with essentials as was the kitchen. Great Stay for a Large Family!
This was one of the best VRBO experiences I’ve had! This easily accommodated our 6-member family. The host was quick to respond to any questions. The host also gave us a moose roast! Highly recommend.

Best Alaskan Getaway!
Such a cute, quiet, happy, healing little place! Born and raised in AK - I would recommend this place to my friends and fam any day. Hospitality and genuine care from the hosts! We really enjoyed our stay here.

Fantastic location to stroll into Talkeetna and to drive up to Denali. The cabin is very comfortable and Sandra stocks food basics for your breakfast. We enjoyed some awesome salmon that Sandra shared with us! Sandra provides great info on the area and other Alaska locations.

Perfect family set up minutes to downtown
This was perfect for our family of 5. Clean and comfortable with a great fire pit area. Two bedrooms allowed for separation when needed. The WiFi was a nice bonus for the adults, we just didn’t tell the kids we had a password:)
It was more like a bed and breakfast with all the supplied foods. Sandra left some delicious apples and snack bars as well as some staples in the fridge for us. It was all the small touches that told us the owners know what they’re doing! From a tea assortment, to the bath toys, to bear spray, to the dog bowl and runner! We were bummed that we decided last minute to leave our dog- most places that “welcome” dogs are not set up so thoughtfully for them like this home was.
Will definitely stay again.

Wonderful experience!
Sandra, the owner, was great to work with. The unit was phenomenal! Had everything we needed and more. Everything was spotless. Close to town with great restaurant's and shopping. Also, half way between Anchorage and Denali. Would definitely recommend to other renters!

A home away from home!
This is a great place. All the conveniences of home! Wish we could have stayed more than one day but it served it's purpose. It broke up the driving from Denali to Anchorage. Susan is a great hostess :)
