- the apartment was nice and clean, every morning, a cleaning team came around for cleaning, changing towels etc. - nicely kept pool area and gardens

- arriving at the apartment compound, it took some time to find the office of the the agency which is renting out the apartment, it would be better if they clearly state their address and office number, so that one can find them immediately - beach area strewn with plastic and other rubbish

First, is the the view to the ocean. Beautiful apartment. It’s perfect for the family vacation. Right beside famous Atlantis. It’s service apartment with big kitchen, nice furniture, two bedrooms has two bathrooms, big balcony with jacuzzi!!!!! Very clean, everyday apartment have service to clean, changed to fresh towels and new toiletries. Downstairs mini supermarket and big swimming pool. Convenient to order taxi and food. The pool and the convenience store where the only positives about this property. Although the pool was ok, it was only 1 meter deep in all areas and there were kids peeing on the side of the pool. Some even naked in the pool.

When we checked in there was a family complaining to the women checking people in that there was a laptop stolen from their room. That was our first impression. When we got to our room it didn't really look like the photos on this site.

It was full but never felt like it. Very quiet and comfortable living. The customer service wechat service and the snack bar customer service & delivery was really nice too. Very quick to respond the whole trip.

Each room seems to have a different amount of kitchen items so it made it difficult to cook. But, we managed, bought a few things we needed at a nearby supermarket and had a few homecooked meals.

Everything was relatively new. The pool was very nice. Beach was fairly empty.

As mentioned that it was a relatively new area, it needs some time to have the surroundings developed. I feel like there is not much to do besides the beach and the pool. The beach was a distant walk 10 min. Please note that officially you are not allowed to go in the water because the waves are quite bit for swimming and there is jelly fish in that area. The property is actually an apartment complex, so there are many other companies that provide the same "service" there in the same building. Besides some restaurants near by (still need taxi, It was misleading that they wrote it's 400m away which I thought could be easily walked but it's actually 1.9km away) all other places you want to visit is really far. So the question is: do you want to save a little on accommodation then pay alot more in taxi or rather book somewhere closer and make life easier. Unless you're plan is to only chill on the beach and swim in the apartment pool, then I suggest to book in yalong bay. After first 2 nights, the next door start to reconstruct, and was drilling from 7:30am so it was not fun at all. You can hear it on the other end of the complex. It was so uncomfortable so we decided to depart early and book another place. I know this was out of their control since they don't own the whole place, but a heads up would be been nice. No breakfast or restaurant in building so for foreigners I can imagine this being super complicated. If you don't have a registered Chinese phone number which you need to even order delivery, this could be stressful. Overall the property was very nice. But other factors was somewhat disappointing.
