The property for perfect for our week vacation. It was cozy and the beach was amazing.

The location was awesome, a 30 second walk to the beach. The unit was clean and very comfortable. It's got a retro feel but not in an old, musty way. It's really old Florida style. It was also very private even though there are other cottages on the property. We come to AMI a couple of times a year and we've never wanted to stay in the other places again, but we will definitely be back here.

Alice was an excellent host, she checked in on us and made sure we had everything we needed and recommended some great places.
I wish there was a pool on the property for our young child to swim but the beach was in our backyard which was great also!

When we arrived, the owner Alice was onsite and warmly welcomed us. The cottages have been in her family for many years. Alice was very friendly and we could tell she takes good care of her guests. The cottage (2) was extremely clean and comfy. Loved she kept the 70’s vibe!!! The cottage is on a gorgeous beach, white sand, clear, calm water. I found a sand dollar while we were there! The beach is similar to the Caribbean! We grilled one night at the cottage. There is a restaurant next door called Anna Maria Island Cafe. We walked on the beach over to it and got the blackened fish tacos…they were awesome. Highly recommend them. We also walked one day to Skinny’s and got a burger (very close by) . It was good. We did take a ride into Anna Maria, not much to see there, we got ice cream at 2 scoops, it was very good! We were able to relax and read on a beautiful beach most of our trip which was our goal!

Super clean!! Apartment 3 was fully stocked from dishes, to coffee pot, beach towels, chairs/umbrellas etc for days in the sand. Only just steps away from the beautiful beaches. It is easy access to anything you may need and more. Did I mention how clean it was? lol
There was a tiki bar and live entertainment if that’s your thing, only steps away at a local public access to the beach. The food was great there! Had the pleasure of meeting Alice before we left. She genuinely cares about the property but it is definitely a labor of love to her. We hope to be back soon!

We located our own breakfast place- we like expresso- it took awhile before we found the north shore cafe had excellent expression and other goodies

Loved the Bamboo Apartments and the cottage vibe! It is in a great location. Very clean. We couldn’t ask for anything better except for the weather. In the tall grass toward the beach, we spotted our first real beach bunny. Haha - so cute. The owner is quick to respond to any questions. We will be back!

The bamboo apartments are nestled in a quiet garden setting with plenty of outdoor seating and easy beach access. The apartments are clean and have all the modern amenities you could want. The hostess, Alice Sutton, is perhaps one of the nicest people I’ve talked to. She definitely knows how to make her guests feel welcome and comfortable! I will definitely come back!
It’s a little close to the public beach. On some days there would be some noise pollution from radios and music being played by those at the public beach.
