Could hear banging noise outside apartments from early in the morning (road workers)?

Loved the location, easy access for parking, beautiful greeting from your staff at the reception especially the Island lady apology can’t remember her name. Over all your staff were lovely and friendly, professional and attentive to our needs, the rooms hygiene impeccable can not fault. Drop of a hat my family and I would use your accommodation again, I will certainly recommend your apartments to friends, family and colleagues. Thank you for making our stay pleasurable.

The hotel was in a great location in Newmarket. Parking was nice and secure.

We were given a room on the ground/first floor which was opposite some restaurants so we were a bit nervous that we would get noise from them, however the restaurants were shutting by the time we wanted to go to bed. Unfortunately, rubbish trucks came to collect/empty bins from surrounding businesses very early in the morning - right outside the window. Then a refrigerated delivery truck parked outside the window for a while with it's noisy engine running. In addition, the bathroom had an automatic extractor fan attached to the light switch, which automatically engaged once the light had been on for about a minute. The fan was REALLY loud, particularly in the bedroom (it was a 1 bedroom unit) and continued for about 10 minutes after the light had been switched off. So if the bathroom was used in the night the fan switched on - and with 3 of us sharing the unit this happened at least 3 times. Then, when using the shower in the morning, the extractor fan didn't even work despite its noise - the walls were streaming with steam vapour and the mirror was totally fogged up.
