construction in front of unit which meant you couldn't sit out on the balcony & enjoy the view. We chose the unit as it said it had 3 bedrooms, with 2 double beds. The unit had 1 double bed & 4 singles.

The Kirra Apartments are perfectly located both on the waterfront and very close to the airport. Each apartment is spacious and well appointed, pleasantly presented and clean. Appliances are modern and air conditioning is excellent.

It would have been good to have a coffee machine in our room.

Everything was great

When you stay 4 nights and they only supply 1 little sachet of dishwasher liquid and only one dish washer tablet we think it is a bit tight money wise.

The view was nice

The room was old and below standard. Broken & dirty furniture, shower didn’t work, drains smell, bathrooms dirty and mouldy. Site managers unhelpful when fire alarm went off, no one updated is even though the manager stood less than 5 metres in front of us. We had no idea about the fire or why the alarm went off until I asked a fire person. Room is overpriced for such a poor standard.

The pool and the view were great. Very friendly staff

The unit was not cleaned very well and was very tired looking. All dining chairs were damaged and light fittings were filled with dead bugs and hadn't been cleaned for a long time. There was also a lot of construction work going on which was very noisy.not enough seating in lounge area the unit was for 4 people but there was only a 3 seat lounge

Beautiful view from living area and large balcony. Directly opposite long clean beach.

First thing we noticed was that the place needs a good cleanup. The balcony hadn't been swept of dirt and leaves.. backs of blinds in bedroom were dirty, as were other less noticable places. Lounge has probably reached its use by date. Some of the kitchen accessories for cooking etc wouldn't even suit donating to charity. There was free wifi in the unit, which didn't work with the 'smart' TV, so no Netflix or Youtube, problem was beyond management fixing for our 3 night stay. If you don't have a car, its a long (but pleasant if not raining) walk to shops for food and groceries. Overall disappointed especially for the high price.

The location was fantastic, beautiful view of the beach. Very clean and fresh.

Beautiful clean and well set up apartment. Quality furnishings and everything that you could possibly need for the perfect stay. Very well priced and great location. Really loved our time in such a stunning apartment directly across the road from the beautiful Coolangatta beach.

Shame our stay was soured by the lady on reception who was so unhelpful for no reason at all. We arrived after hours and one of us had to unexpectantly fly home the first morning - amongst the stress I forgot to stop and sign the formal check in form. Then our parents came down and realising they had left something in the room were refused a key to get back into the apartment until I signed the check in form on return from airport. (As I had the only key with me) Despite the fact they had all our details and had already debited the card details they held for the full stay amount. Then on check out, after being ignored for some time at reception was told no we could not leave the car with all our bags safe in the covered carpark until 10am as they needed to give the keys to the next guests. (Despite checkin only allowed after 2pm.) Such a contrast to all the other accommodation we have stayed at so far in Australia where they seem to genuinely care about their guests. If you have to be rude to good, polite guests then time to get out of hospitality.

Not much to like at all from kirra surf apartments, false advertising of rooms.

Advertising on page was very false to the room that we booked, completely different room then what we thought we were getting. When asked people at service desk they said they couldn't help us at all and that it was our fault. We showed them the pictures of what we thought we booked, and they said there was no way to help us with the situation.

As always the complex was in amazing condition. Our apartment was outstanding and provided everything we needed for a wonderful stay away from home. The view is breathtaking at any time of day and you can’t beat the location.

My only suggestion would be ceiling fans for the apartment. it would reduce the need for aircon.

Lovely pool and bbq area

The shower had a lot of mould, the bed was small and uncomfortable, most of the furniture was well worn and an electrician was sent to our room without us being informed. Information says cafe on site but this closed down quite a while ago. No coffee shops close by (about a 500m walk to the closest shop). And quite a walk to the beach.
