Everything is perfect here, the location in Mongkok, the cleanliness, the friendly staff, a lovely pool and a very good room. It’s more than just a hotel, the staff members make you feel at home in Hongkong. We really loved the free walking tour of Mongkok offered by the hotel and my friend enjoyed the Tai Chi lessons in the morning. They were also very helpful with restaurant recommendations and bookings. This was one of the best hotels I ever stayed at and I do travel a lot.

Check in was efficient but do expect a queue as they are very busy. Room was spacious and we had an end room so the view was exceptional - we were on the 29th floor. A microwave and a fridge was provided with a kettle. We had two fresh GLASS bottles of water everyday delivered with no extra cost. We did not have breakfast but we did try the buffet lunch and it was fun - we had 2 and a half hours. We also ate at the restaurant and the staff were helpful and even advised us not to order too much. The food was amazing and served the right portion size for us. The best team in my opinion and experience was the concierge team who went out of there way to be most helpful expecially when we needed a taxi as mum in in her 80s. Housekeeping team was very attentive aswell and always greeted us with a good morning and wished us a good day. Always stopped to listen when we needed to ask for help. Though below I have mentioned some negative points, I would still recommend this hotel to stay in. It is central to everything and the MTR is literally mins away. There is a shopping centre across the road and you can access this over a walkway/bridge where you don't have to cross the road.

The reception team can be a little off and sharp - not very consistant (not sure if it is due to the ongling barage of guests they need to check in)- they were a little too sharp and unkind to my mum who only wanted some business cards to share with her friends who wanted to visit her. The reception told her to just take a photo or show her friends what my mum already have? I literally had to ask her to just give my mum what was requested! There was mould in the shower section where I had to ask the housekeeping team to deal with (not sure if this is due to the damage/cracks in the granite/stone walls but bleaching did not do the job)

Access to the fantastic gym, sauna, steam and pool were included. The staff were great.

In the evening rush hour it was difficult to get to the harbour in a taxi. Should have used the subway.

2nd stay at the same hotel and everything was just as excellent as ever. Staff was very courteous and professional in their service and room was just perfect & clean. Location as before was great as accessible to F & B and shopping in the Mongkok area was great. We definitely look forward to future stays at Cordis.

Great location close to many great places to eat & get a coffee or a drink. Close to shopping & the train. Super helpful staff & very comfortable apartment as well. Couldn’t have asked for more on our first trip to Hong Kong.

If I had to pick anything (which there isn’t much) I would say that some of the elevators weren’t working during our checkout which made getting our luggage down to the lobby take a bit longer than expected. But overall this was an extremely minor inconvenience in what was an otherwise very pleasant stay.

Excellent location, right in the middle of action packed Mong Kok. Close to Ladies Market and across the road from the Langham Place shopping centre.

The room was too bright as each room had an air purifier that glows bright blue for the whole day and night. Hard to sleep unless you cover the light up with a towel

I didn’t use the pool as I hoped to. It just wasn’t welcoming (???). We had to go through the health club to get to it then there was an attendant that was so formal. Just not my style.

The concierge team were approachable, helpful and friendly. The housekeeping team (Pun and Kathy) were also the same; always greeted us with a smile and asked if we needed anything. They provided whatever we asked for. Room service was good too and the food was delicious. The reception team were okay. Some days they were great, some days, a little abrupt. The rooms were spacious and we had an amazing view! We asked about a microwave (as I forgot there wasn't one in the room) and they provided one for us for the whole stay. Fridge was a bonus in the kitchenette. I felt the room was a little too cold and I could not get any heating on when we had a couple of cold days.

There were some mould in the bathroom.

Location- This was the perfectly situated hotel for me and my (elderly) Dad. He is in his late 70s so walking can be a bit tricky. Cordis’ location gave us a lot of places to explore by foot. The Langham Place Mall was just connected via a footbridge which gave us access to lots of retail therapy - 200 stores?!) and dining options. On street level, there’s Mongkok Train Station and we tried it for a quick trip to Tsim Sha Tsui (to see the top luxury brands. Because my Dad wakes up real early, visiting the fruit and vegetable market behind the hotel was something he looked forward to! There, we bought our daily fruit faves (blueberries, strawberries & kiwi) and fresh flowers. There is also a famous Dimsum Shop at the corner- sells delicious hakaw, siomai etc. Whenever I needed local currency, the huge HSBC Branch with about 20 ATM machines was a quick walk (just behind the Mongkok train station). If I needed toiletries, make up and whatever- a Sasa branch was just across Cordis! At night time, we also explored the street market which is just a few blocks away. During the day, we explored Congee Shops, Hardware/Tool Shops, Shops that sold stainless/ copper/bronze items. So much to see! Room- We booked a room in the upper floor with two single beds. The view at night and at sunrise was simply amazing! Bed was comfortable. The room size was big, always clean, and H2O bottles were always replenished. We never had to “refill” the bottle given in the room. Room Service- Close to midnight, my Dad got hungry. Food came freshly made and super delicious. It came quick too with additional/ complimentary orange juice and oatmeal bar. The gentleman who brought it to our room was very kind & helped set up the table for my Dad. Buffet at "The Place" - Located at the same level of the Check In Counter. You must try their lunch buffet. Wide and delicious selection. Seafood, local dishes, you name it & its there.

There's always a big queue at Check-in / lobby area. Booked this room many weeks ahead but on the day of our arrival, one lady says "please wait, we cannot find a room for you"

The cleanliness of bedding should be improved. The pillow has a very strong smell.

We had a large room with access to the Club Lounge, and it was all just lovely. Really friendly, professional staff. Great pool and health spa, with divine massages. The hotel is connected via a walkway to a good sized shopping centre. The Club lounge offered such substantial snacks in thier evening happy hur that we never needed to buy dinner.

Great central location attached to a shopping centre with numerous eateries. The room was clean, floor-to-ceiling windows gave a great view, especially the lights of the city at night. Breakfast served a wide variety of dishes and good quality too. Also great to have a dehumidifier in the room as many hotels in the region struggle with the condensation. Staff spoke good English and were friendly. Good sized rooftop pool is a great bonus for cooling down.
