Das Internet hat nicht bis schlecht funktioniert. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte ebenfalls nicht ausreichend.

Wifi in one of the rooms did not work at all. There were also no hanging hooks or towel rails in the suite.

There are a few things that urgently need attention to make this a 5 star place. 1 - No inverter during load shedding. 2 - only two TV channels ? 3 - the roof terrace does not have any railings and should not be compliant. 4 - the lack of maintenance is clearly visible. The flooring on the roof terrace is torn and shabby, the geyser evacuated tubes on the roof are broken etc. Tidy the place up, add a proper Inverter, make the rooftop safe by adding rails.

The host is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was super everyday and the views from the lodge are great!

The rooms need a little TLC. It seems like they are not being maintained the way they should with mould in some areas and cracks in others. Our bed linen and pillow cases were stained although this was handled by the host immediately.

Breakfast was more than enough, the honeymoon suite room was great too.

The most magnificent view and especially when the weather is great, and we were very lucky with the weather. Unfortunately that was all that was good.

We were upgraded to the Penthouse, which sounds nice, but it was awful. We walked into the room and it stank of bleach, the floors were moist and sticky, it was like the room had only just been cleaned. We found out the next day that the reason the room smelt so bad was because it had been flooded, so we were actually smelling really bad damp. The one bathroom sink tap did not work, you could see the floors were lifting and the penthouse balcony was covered with AstroTurf which was lifting all over the place. No one responded to my WhatsApp message that night, only the next morning and then they offered to move us across the passage to a much smaller room that shared the same appalling balcony, which we declined as by then we had managed to get rid of the smell. I suggested a discount, so basically some of our money back and was told by the manager that the money went directly to the owner overseas, so she did not think that was possible. And of course we've heard nothing from them. It was very obvious to us that no one was checking rooms, if they had they would have left us at Sea Star Lodge. We would certainly not recommend booking at Sea Side Cliff, it is extremely expensive and in need of maintenance. This BnB also does not have a generator or inverter, so they are badly affected by loadshedding.
