Good service, security is good as hotel is near some embessy,s. Buffet selection very good. Staff friendly.

Drums at night from the river were a little annoying, but a set of ear plugs fixed this.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff was extremely helpful and polite. One of the nicest hotel staff’s I’ve ever encountered. They go above and beyond to make sure you have a pleasant stay. The housekeeper, the breakfast staff, the front desk at check in and manager were all amazing.

The shower was small and challenging working the hot water.

Staff was very gracious and happy to help with anything. They really went above and beyond to accomodate any request. The room was amazing, for western standards maybe a bit dated, but for Egyptian standards very nice and had everything we wanted. Great view, lots of balcony space. We had a great view of the Nile and could see the Pyramids on clear days. The breakfast we included was great everyday, plenty for anyone to get what they wanted. We had an early check out and the staff even got us breakfast bags to bring along to the airport. We used the restaurant once for dinner, which was buffet style and also very good. The location of the hotel is great, your right in the middle of Zamalek, a great district in Cairo. Shops, restaurants and supermarkets are very close and many to chose from. Also very easy to get Ubers from this location, I do recommend getting in and out of the Ubers outside the gate, since the security checks every driver and they have a snifferdog walk around the cars. It takes a while for them to get in and out. The hotel has great security in that regard and the entrance is behind a closed gate. Check in and check out went very fast and smooth and even with our very early arrival we were able to get to our room very fast. Bags are brought up to your room and picked up when you leave. The cleaning staff is very professional and thorough and extra's of anything are easily arranged through them or management. Within the hotel no tips are expected as far as I was aware.

The pool is only accesible through the breakfast/dining area and by walking through the lobby. There are places to change at the pool, but you cant really walk from your room to the pool in your swimming attire. Some things can be quite pricey, we asked for transport from the airport but through the hotel it would have cost over 25x the amount compared through the booking.com services, so I wouldn't recommend using the hotels service in that instance.

Staff very friendly and professional, Rania in particular was very nice, friendly and helpful. You feel well looked after here and the area is quiet in the chaos of Cairo (in a good way)! Located where the international embassies are so lots of police/security around and decent international restaurants as well as local.

Balcony was a little small, couldn’t sit outside.

Beautiful view of the Nile River. Comfortable bed. Shower over bath not good in our room 609 as couldn't put feet flat on the bath bottom. It bludged up in the middle. Spa area great. Had excellent steam room. Swimming pool good but closed at 5pm so only had short swim after our arrival.

Ignored at dinner as all the staff watching the soccer match. Had to go and ask for desert menu and than for check.

The stuff was very kind and location is amazing!

They told me that they upgraded my reservation to full river view ( it was side river view ) for free! But that was not true, and I got side river view ( room 409).

Il quartiere Zamalek e' ideale per un soggiorno al Cairo, vista meravigliosa sul Nilo. Ottima colazione in un bellissimo cntesto. Molto gentili e professionali gli addetti al ricevimento e molto attenta Dina del Guest Relation. Molto piacevole al pomeriggio andare in zona piscina per sedersi a bere qualcosa o a fare uno snack, sempre con vista sul Nilo.

Essendo una famiglia di 4 persone e' un peccato che al di fuori delle suite non ci siano camera comunicanti o con la possibilita' di letto aggiunto per arrivare ad ospitare 4 persone. Questo significa che per avere la certezza di essere nella medesima sistemazione l'unica possibilita' sono le camere lusso (dei veri e propri appartamenti) ed ovviamente il prezzo sale notevolmente.
