The staff at the Sheraton were fabulous. From the front desk reception, to the bar and restaurant to check-out the people were kind, understanding and helpful. Dick Yi - food and beverages manager was spectacular. I had a problem with something, I emailed the hotel, they put me in touch with Dick and he was on to solving the problem in minutes. It was really great. He followed up to make sure we were getting everything we needed. Penny, the contact from the hotel, was great as well. And I had an issue on the check out because I had used wechat to pay but wanted to use my American credit card and Annie, the contact, figured it out and refunded the RMB for the deposit back to my Chinese bank account and put it on my credit card. Problem solved. I have live din Beijing for seven years and this was, by far, the best experience of any hotel I have stayed at throughout China. The beach access was great and the pools and the choices you have about which one to lounge around at was sublime. The drinks were luscious, the activities for children every day a bonus, the Chinese restaurant food is a delight. The breakfast -- it's out of control good -- I am not sure if there is anything they didn't have. Our room was quiet and very comfortable -- great shower and tub. I am not sure what else to say -- if you are going to Yalong Bay go here. You will be very happy.

They play the music very loud and the bass can't handle it so you get feedback. I asked them to turn it down so you can hear the sound instead of thinking you have mistakenly walked in to a rave. I am not sure why they play the music so loud but it could be an issue to look at in order to provide music that can be listened to for enjoyment.

The ambiance is very nice, staff are very nice very well entertainment.

Hotel room and grounds were clean. The atmosphere was very relaxing. There is a small shop on the first floor and many evening dining options just a 5 minute walk away. Breakfast was also exceptional.

Location is far from everything. Unless you find everything you wanted at the hotel, you’d have to pay about 100RMB one way to go somewhere else

The pools were great, with different areas for young children and a deeper pool more for adults. The hotel breakfast had a good variety. They had a BBQ which was great value, all you can eat and drink. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

The pool bar closed at 6pm, if the pool itself closes at 10pm I feel it should stay open a few more hours. It was too sunny for us to be in the pool during the early afternoon so we felt we never got to take a great advantage out of the pool bar.

The staff tried very hard, always saying hello and good morning. The breakfast was terrific. Best omelette chef around.

The beach would have been lovely but there were massive tankers and work that was being done. It ruined the relax vibe.

The room service was amazing, the breakfast, pools, cleanliness, the staff is super friendly and helpful, and everything was really nice.

I would suggest a refreshment or renovation to the bathroom in the room; the tiles are accumulating mould because they are porous. Also, the room's temperature, in general, was good, but it could be better. I would suggest for the AC to be stronger, it feels like the room is too big and the air conditioner is not enough to cool it all. We had to keep to bathroom door closed all the time as well as the blackout curtains so that the room kept cool enough.

Chinese Food prices in the internal restaurants pushed many guests to buy food outside. The strategy should be improve the prices and attract lot of consumers

definitely not enough sunbeds at the beach. Think about the free space there and offer more sunbeds. Beer selection of restaurants and bar is really poor and should be extended at least for a local chinese beer and German beer (at least one).

Location was good and the food for buffet was good. Walking distance to food mall was Ok.

Clearer access rukes to Booking.com Genius Level Benfits, had to argue to get what was stated. Bed linnen was not changed for 5 days. Coffeee cus were not chnaged until I called fornt desk.

Overall good experience. Staff were very polite, grounds are beautiful, spa is amazing! The proximity to the beach is perfect. I loved all the nooks with lawn chairs and shade to relax throughout the property.

The rooms could benefit from some modernizing and the food could be improved dramatically. Drinks were overpriced for the size and strength.

The property is very well maintained. The landscape architecture was very beautiful. There are many pools available and some have ocean views. The beach is easily accessible and clean. Many padded lounge chairs are available in the pool and beachside areas. All the loungers are near large umbrellas so you can lounge in the shade. We enjoyed the western restaurant and there were many delicious western options for breakfast. We were upgraded to a balcony with a sea view. You could hear the waves from the balcony. We enjoyed several meals there. The bed was very comfortable. The windows had blackout curtains so we were able to sleep in or nap after a swim. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

I wish the concierge had told us that foreigners can’t use the app at the hospital to get the rapid Covid test. Foreigners have to go check in and pay inside the hospital before joining the testing line.

Nice stuff at the swimming pool, during the breakfast, on the reception. Perfect location of the property. Nice garden around, good beach and sea, a lot of soft sun beds at the beach and swimming pools.Breakfast is absolutely acceptable for Europeans. Possible to ask manager for late check out.

Not very good quality of cleaning, every time stuff left different quantity of towels, and only one set of washing tools, but for two people who take shower few times a day is too less, low quality of bathroom tools. At the beach too much sellers of fruits, beer, jewelry, etc, so you can not relax unfortunately, but I think maybe it is not hotel’s fault.
