Breakfast is top. The design of the restaurant is so nice, it feels like luxurious and very comfortable. The waiters are very polite and friendly. The reception is also very nice, the housekeeping is very helpful. We loved to use the free laundry option, and the rooms and bathrooms are just stunning. The free bottle of wine is also a winner.
Maybe the baguette in the breakfast could have been more crispy, we did not get the best view from the room, but that would have been extremely expensive. So we understood. The place is just expensive, but in fact it is so much nicer.

The hotel is just incredible.
Our room was very big and the views were just amazing.
The bathroom was also very big and had every detail.
The best part of the hotel is their swimming pool. Certainly one of the most beautiful I have seen.
The staff was really friendly and helpful.
The location is good, near the the underground station. However it is not the best for exploring the old Shanghái.

Big room and nice personal.
Ac works in 1 regime. Was not enough cold and power low. Felt like not enough oxygen. In bath no toothbrush etc need to call for that. Tea corner - very bad quality teas in packs. Even no 2 packs same types of tea. Overall looks not good value for money. And terrible breakfast. The pastry looks like it’s several days old.

The staff of the hotel is truly amazing. We enjoyed the facilities too. No weird smells in the room, no noises. The room met all our expectations. The pool was also great.
Really poor breakfast. Few savoury options. The pastry was from a couple of days ago. I asked if I could get some fresh waffles and they took out a plate full of cold waffles they´d made in advance. The coffee wasn´t bad though. The staff treated us nicely too. The food could be better.

Nice Hotel, very clean, nice staff, nice swimming pool and spa area. Very good location. Nice and spacious room, with comfy bed and nice living room area with a good working table, and nice sofa and chairs.
Kids stayed in a twin room also very spacious, clean and comfortable. Beautiful views of the city. Night view on the swimming pool area is fantastic.

This was my 3rd time staying at the regent hotel and as always it was nothing less than amazing. The general manager who was on duty was very informative with information about the hotel and the hours of operations for certain areas. He guided us all the way to our room. This stay was the best one so far because the executive lounge floor was open again. Sandra that worked happy hour in the lounge was so nice and personable. She greeted both me and my friend by our first names every time she saw us. She always went out of her way to make sure we had everything we wanted. Jessica at breakfast was also very helpful and kind providing us with useful information. I’ll for sure be back again soon. Another perk was the mini bar/ snacks were included!
The hotel is a bit overpriced but is semi understandable for the great service and wonderful location.
