We were given a quiet, downstairs room as requested, which was appreciated. Comfortable bed. Room obviously renovated recently.
Unfortunately we didn’t receive the SMS code, so when we arrived at 7pm after our flight we couldn’t get in. Rang the night caretaker and it was sorted thankfully. The blinds do not block out the security lights, which made it difficult to sleep.

Location was ideal for our stay as it was between Canberra and the suburbs, easy exit south or north - allowed us to bypass the full city circle of the capital. Bedding arrangements, ideal for those who want privacy amongst family. Kitchen and Bathroom very well maintained, clean, neat and tidy despite the slightly outdated setup. Garage provided for separate guests and reception staff were very accommodating on arrival. TV had multiple channels, netflix and Youtube (ideally for those who want to look at anything apart from news). Full functional aircon especially for the extreme cold weather. Kitchen facilities and storage were very appropriate and adequate. Ideally fit 3, although a sofa could cover 4 pp.
Backup staff was bit mystified when we asked for assistance. Batteries for TV and aircon may need to be checked each time. Possible issue due to guests mis-use. Cups were undersize for decent cuppa.

Nothing ~but the location to the town centre
The carpet was not clean , the room smelt stale, no internal phone, no onsite staff about, the outside is rundown, dirty an stinks of cigarette smoke and the other occupants near us were extremely noisy till 3.30 am,!!!! consequently we did stay there the second night !!!!

Great value hotel with large rooms and easy checkin experience - plenty of parking.
Some painting and maintenance next door made the morning a little noisy but otherwise highly recommended.

Good location
Bed cover had spots of something on it. Walls are paper thin and you can hear EVERYTHING. Person in next room, who I think was staff, had very loud conversations and left their TV on LOUD all night, only turning it off at about 7am. No undercover parking.
