The building itself is very beautiful. Nice patios and gardens. Big swimming pool. Well maintained from the outside. Breakfast buffet is good and tasty. Friendly doorman at the entrance.

The room I got had a nice location, but was old, damp and smelly. The house keeping staff did their best to solve it. But it was still smelly. The mattress was really old and wasn’t firm or soft. It doesn’t give you a luxury feeling or a good night sleep. If you would like to use the desk in your room for computer work, there’s very little space because a serving tray is attached to the desk. Well, the staff in general was not attentive, not 4 or 5 star worthy. At the reception the staff was not helpful at all. For example they forgot to call me with the wake up service so I was lucky enough to be awake by myself so I could be on time in the airport. No apologies from the reception desk. And they didn’t want to give me back change because they didn’t had any change. When I insisted they suddenly had some change… and they couldn’t provide a printed invoice. The staff used the patios for their loud talks and kept the guests awake. Breakfast was really good, waiters weren’t aware of having guests and attend them. There was one lady who helped very well and was friendly and said good morning. The WiFi connection is unstable and you need to login every now and then to stay connected. Not a major problem, but it’s a bit annoying. The veg food in the restaurant was tasty but caused me food poisoning. That was my first food poisoning after 5 long India trips. So it’s not that bad, but be aware of it that it can happen also at Saraca. The swimming pool area is in need of some renovation. And umbrellas for the sun would be nice.

The pool needs some work. The accommodation fee is good value but we found that everything else was over priced.

Beautiful property. Close to the heart of modern Lucknow. A havelli turned into a hotel. Courtyard access from all rooms. Splendid lawns and Bougainville decor

Excellent Breakfast with wide range of cuisine with well thought out dishes, with couple of new dishes. The Chef had laid out a commendable board. The serving staff was equally good.

有歷史感的旅店一向是我喜歡的類型，這家很受歡迎。房間尺寸很大. 布置也有舊時代的感覺。旅館內餐廳的食口味一般, 但旅館旁一個義大利/亞洲餐廳卻意外比較好吃, 很少人去。

第一天check-in 時, 櫃台的小哥不太專業，給了不正確的資訊，自家天台酒吧開放時間也不對，讓我們撲空, Wi-Fi password 給了錯誤的, 又要我們跑回櫃台去換。可能是1樓最內側的關係, 沒什麼陽光, 房間有一點點因濕氣的霉味。另外, 餐廳食物貴。

The management staff were extremely unprofessional. We had were told that our belongings were being moved into another room while we were out due to “maintenance”. When we returned back to the hotel we saw another couple moving into our room. We were offered no compensation or apologies for the inconvenience of having to change rooms halfway through our stay.

We had a wonderful stay and experience in the hotel Saraca Lucknow (Lebua until 31st of December). This heritage property holds a great history as it used to be the house of Nawabs. We were immediately transported back in time and could really feel the spirit of Lucknow. The room was nice, clean and the bed was really soft and comfortable. But what made our experience truly unique was the hotel staff; everyone was smiling, friendly, polite and very helpful. At the reception, both Abdulla and Gulafsha made sure we had a smooth check in and check out, they replied to all our queries and even gave us some recommendations about the city. Last but not least, the food and the Azrak restaurant staff. We booked last minute a table for New Years. The live music was great and we were gifted with New Year Eve accessories. Thumbs up for the whole organization. The buffet was delicious and we had the pleasure to meet the Chef Manish who took time for us. His hospitality and care were very much appreciated, the food was outstanding, excellent, and we can not thank him enough for his time and kindness. At the service, special thanks to Arman and Pramod who took very good care of us during the whole evening at the next day during breakfast. To sum up our experience, this property and its amazing restaurants really is a hidden gem in Lucknow, and shines especially thanks to its wonderful staff and history. It is still a bit underrated so we can only recommend our fellow travelers to visit this place

Just the toilet flush wasn’t working really well but when we told about it to the staff they immediately offered to send someone to fix it.
