I stayed here 4 years ago(when it still had a bar facility ), it’s a beautiful property. Very pretty setting.
It’s quite far from the center, and now the bar is closed.

Very friendly and accommodating staff, beautiful house, spotless rooms, very comfortable

I think it was a nice building and the rooms look nice but I did not like the location, long walking to the zocalo and I didn’t like the walking at night on the street the hotel was located.
I did not like:
*location (to far from the zócalo, not nice street)
*Room was so hot.
* I did not like the yellow lights in all the room including the bathroom. It gave me headaches. This upset me too much.

The courtyard was a blissful oasis, peaceful. The room was comfortable and the whole hotel was beautiful to look at.
There was no bar available and the breakfast offering was basic.

Optimal location and big rooms
The bathroom could be a bit better equipped
7.0
The house and its location.
The first day, althoigh the attendant said that he would open at any time, we had to wait ten minutes outside, at 9 a.m. and make a lot if noise to join oir room.

The staff was amazingly helpful and accommodating. I had a very early bus journey necessitating an even earlier am taxi. The staff’s assistance and followup was very professional and all went seamlessly.
The property itself has been beautifully and tastefully renovated to its historical period, ( with modern conveniences). Too, the city block across the way has a lot of vacant buildings. At night, as a solo, female traveler, I was extra aware about my safety. I did not encounter any problems.

Wonderful property and beautiful old building - really enjoyed my stay here. Downtown just a few minutes away by walking.
No real complaints.

Beautiful historic building !
Bathroom had a strange smell (might have been old piping), streets were loud but no fan in room so had to keep window open.

The hotel is beautiful. The bed was very comfortable and the room was cosy. Staff were extremely helpful and gave us a tour and a bit of history of the place since it was a quiet week
They don't currently do breakfast but the staff said they plan to offer this. But the centre is within walking distance so this wasn't a big problem

Casa Maria Pas is exquisite! If you love historic buildings, this hotel will not disappoint. There was also incredible attention to detail with robes, beautiful soap, linens and great decor throughout the hotel. I would stay here again and again! it is just 6 blocks or so from the main square. A lot of the building in this part of the street are not in use, so it is very quiet at night.

Lovely building with an old charm near the city centre.
The room is spacious and I loved the he amount of plants there are in the hotel. It was a great touch of style!
The internet is not good.
The area felt unsafe and we had to always keep an eye open.
For a “boutique hotel” I would have expected much more.

I love that this historical building is beautifully restored and decorated. Very quiet and peaceful inside, perfect for a good night rest. The whole team is very approachable and helpful. Location is great. About 12 mins walk to the cathedral and lots going on on your way there.

One of the most unique hotels I’ve ever stayed in! The staff were so accommodating about parking and bringing our dog. The features of the room were absolutely beautiful, an amazing place!

The staff were really friendly and very kind to us. The hotel is really pretty if you enjoy more authentic, older architecture. I really loved the design and decor. Location was close to all the inner areas of the city and it's easy to walk around.
Price was very expensive for what it was although it was New Year's Eve. Parking on-site was an additional fee which seemed a little excessive given there weren't any other cars inside. We found a cheaper place to park down the street and negotiated a good price to keep the car overnight. All the water ran out an hour or 2 after getting to the hotel. I was really excited to use the bath only to find out I couldn't fill it up because there wasnt enough water. Our room flooded which was partly our fault, we must have left a tap on after trying all the taps to see if we could get any water. The staff realized while we were out and were very good in relocating us to another room but for the price of $150 USD for the night it was way too much for all the drama of no water and no parking.

Everything big rooms comfy beds close to everything in Puebla’s main attractions
The noice from the street and they had problems with the water

Old renovated building which could be very special. Spacious rooms although bathrooms are small
It's basically room only - no breakfast, no real services, and in a sketchy area away from restaurants and cafes, and on a busy road. No a/c either which is a must here in summer. Check-in was also very bad - initially denied our reservation. Many better actual hotels in the historic centre.

What an awesome hotel, so much personality, attention to detail was top notch, pictures don't make them justice at all. But what made my day was the staff, they were always incredible helpful. I hope to visit them again in the future.

The staff was amazing, the style and decoration of the hotel is actually quite pretty, and the location is pretty good.
To be Fair, Covid has been very hard on this property, but that shouldn't be an excuse to remove breakfast and bar services. The Hotel kind of felt more like a Motel, since we just got the room and were allowed to park inside the middle Patio. The staff were very kind, but the hotel has seen better days, and we had a room with no windows during summer and had no Air Conditioning. I understand the concept of this classic hotel from fall to spring, but it is unbearable to try to sleep there in the middle of summer. I had to open the main door, to try to let some of the room's heat out during the night, however there were also many mosquitoes, so I didn't really get much sleep.

+ Really chic + preserved history of the building being ancient monastery
+ Spanish colonial design, authentic
+ Inner yard is perfect for coffee / late night wine
+ Very spacious room, new, clean, comfy bed
+ In a quiet area, 10 min walking distance to the central plaza
+ The staff was very helpful and recommended great food places around
I guess because of covid, they didn't serve any drinks/food, so bring wine with you if you want to enjoy the evening in the yard :)

Authentic, nice courtyard, spacious room
No breakfasts; when you arrive at night, the district seems scary; but at noon time it’s ok

We loved this beautiful hotel situated in the historical building, very well restored that kept all of the colonial charm combined with modern comfort. The rooms are spacious, big shower, comfortable beds. The courtyard is charming with the fountain in the middle. Once inside, you forget about noisy street and you enjoy the calm and the beauty of this hidden gem. We were warmly welcomed by the personnel and we were delighted to stay here
