Small pool with a large electric advertisement sign. We chose the monument view room which was very noisy at night. My expectations were a little high for this hotel as i had stayed at the Mandarin Oriental at Singapore, which is probably an unfare comparison as it is most likely newer.

We liked the friendly staff, the location and that there was a pool with big screen that made it super original. The children did a treisure hunt and were so happy during the activity and after with their Ice cream:). Lovely experience

I am a regular at Mandarin Oriental for several business trips in Jakarta, and I booked a room with Monument view for an overnight stay. I was impressed with the way the room service staffs welcomed me and accommodated my needs. The porter and concierge were helpful. The receptionists were friendly, especially miss Vina who provided assistance with my luggage. I certainly will stay at Mandarin Oriental again for my next business meetings, and recommend this hotel to my colleagues and clients at home and abroad.

I almost pay higher than rate if don't check again, I must wait the staff to re check the bill. I must reserve twice for free parking. Just after the exit, I stuck because there was a bus parking in front of the exit way and the bus driver was at the hotel security post for doing nothing. I must asked to the bus driver to moved out from the way. It was very disappointed.
