Old / furniture outdated / smell in bathrooms / small restaurant for breakfast with lots of people

We booked an apartment at Fraser Place, Robertson Walk for my elderly parents to stay in when they visited from the UK. One of the main factors for our choice was because it was very close to where we live. However, once my parents were checked in, we realised there was so much more to Fraser Place, it is a lovely development, well thought out and very friendly. All the staff are wonderful from reception to housekeeping, all warm and friendly. There was one member of staff that went above and beyond: Din the Concierge, he has worked there for many years, and he supported me personally with the arrangements, prior to my parents arriving, and he looked after them once they were there; checking in with them to make sure they were OK. Thank you Din! The apartment was spacious, clean and airy. Every detail had been thought about, the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need, including a washer drier, convection microwave, coffee machine and all the usual pots, pans, plates, cutlery, etc. The king size bedroom was large and there was plenty of storage, the bathrooms were clean and provided what was needed. My mum and dad enjoyed the wonderful breakfast in the morning and especially liked to walk round the 3rd floor roof gardens. Both my parents were very happy there, saying it was like a home from home, and are looking forward to returning. Fraser Place, Robertson Walk will now be our go-to serviced apartment. Too many noisy, unsupervised children at the pool, it put my father off swimming, and they did not feel comfortable even sitting out there.

Very spacious and homey for group travels. We especially liked that there were kitchen stuff we can use. The free refillable coffee pods were a nice touch as well.

The breakfast was just ok. Not much variety especially if you stay there for a longer period of time - but still, decent and not bad.

Просторные удобные апартаменты, хорошая уборка в номерах, полотенца, тапочки, все необходимые принадлежности для проживания постоянно пополнялись, много места для хранения вещей. В самом комплексе расположены кафе, рестораны, рядом прогулочная набережная. Месторасположение комплекса очень удачное для прогулок по большому городу - рядом и центр, и другие точки притяжения туристов.

Хотелось бы чуть разнообразить меню на завтраки.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La chambre était très bien équipée, grande et très propre. Juste la salle de bain un peu petite mais ce n’est pas si important. Le personnel est d’une gentillesse exceptionnelle. Le petit déjeuner est parfait. L’hôtel est bien situé. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute ici.

Location was great for walking around. It was nice to have a basic breakfast included. All of the staff are lovely. At breakfast, they try to remember your order for the next day(s), which is always a nice touch. The one-bedroom was spacious enough for 2 adults + 1 child. The children's amenities were a nice treat for my 4-year old. She enjoyed the playground and playroom at breakfast. The children's pool is looking pretty worn down though, looks like it needs a bit of a refresh. Robertson is quite lively on the weekends. The bedroom had good soundproofing (living room, not as much).

The bathroom -- it was very small with very little counter space. They should add hooks for hanging the hand towels by the sink. It was quite awkward washing my hands, then turning around and getting the floor wet by the toilet to dry them. Also, having to climb in and out of the tub for the shower was not very convenient, and at times, was a bit of a safety hazard. Definitely would not recommend for anyone staying with mobility issues. It was nice to have daily housekeeping. However, one of the housekeepers was more thorough than the other, so we weren't always sure what we'd get.
