Everything here is amazing! This hotel has excellent service, everyone is extremely friendly and the service is next level, everyone was fantastic. The room was comfortable clean and well organized, i also loved the decorations. The beach is amazing with lots of great activities close by. The star of the show is the food though, probably the best we had on our trip in africa, with african, indian and other foreign cousine. They also make an amazing fish and chips. Run, don’t walk to this amazing resort hotel and stay immediately!

I have stayed at many resorts along Diani beach and I am very happy that we tried Ocean Village this time. We have found ourselves a new favorite 🤩

i went to this resort with my elderly, disabled mother as we wanted something quiet and tranquil so she could relax before her trip hack to the US. she loved it and so did i. there were couples there of varying ages, but there was no yelling and shouting and such. We both love children, but we needed a break and this was a nice solution. we had dinner once which was not the best meal we had in Diani, but i was told by some other guests that the breakfast is really good. We slept in during our stay so we missed it. Also there are several really nice dining places to choose from on Diani so that should not be a deterrent from this truly lovely hotel on the beach.

Ocean Village club We had the great pleasure to spend 13 days at this extraordinary hotel. If you are looking for a really professional staff with integrity and a high level of service this is the place . Since the hotel is close to the “ jungle” monkeys are in the premises to my surprise the hotel has guards ( 12 of them ) who make sure the animals do not take food from the customers ( without harming them ) The “ monkey chasers “ also make sure no not résidence people accès the hotel and also all the time has full overview over sun beds and clients. Therefore a calm and rest fullness existed 24/7 , leaving sun bed and phones etc to swim in the warm and lovely Indian-ocean no problem. The atmosphere at the hotel was amazing , we even as the days went by learned almost all the staff by name ( due to their extreme service level - with great integrity ) Supervisor Ahmed was working around the clock making sure everything was perfect , the head Chef Toya made every night’s dinner extraordinary we sat outside every night and Toya at the big grill really could deliver - if you like octopus like me you are in for a treat ( I had it 12 days in a row on the grill - various taste / size / and spices) the staff Ali, Abdul, Jeffrey , Aisha, Mawarusha , Christiani, ( and more ) made every day from breakfast , lunch , dinner so so very pleasant- great thanks for once in a lifetime experience ( although we are planning soon return ) The cleaning standard was top top notch in every millimetre of the premises all from the nice gardeners ( Gona one of them ) which climbed up coconut trees and offered ( free) fresh coconut, and kept the garden in super condition , maiden made the room welcoming and everyday made something special to make us feel comfortable. Everyday fresh towels on sun beds ( enough beds for every guest ) and great smiles from the pool guys.

Everything! We loved everything about it...the rooms, location, service, pool, beach, and food. The staff were all very friendly and competent and really made us feel welcome.

We didn't really have any complaints, but it would've been nice if there were more fresh seafood options on the menu.

Everything about Ocean Village Club is perfect. Understated elegance, peaceful with excellent food and superb staff. Stunning white powder like sand and great snorkelling too. Rooms were spotless. We will definitely be back

beautiful hotel with an exceptional garden, bungalows are arranged and designed so that they allow for maximum privacy, stylish decor, very quiet, very high service quality. an excellent place to forget the world around you :)

The hotel could easily provide for a broader set of activities, e.g. for snorkelling or yoga mats.

- The staff/service (especially our server Bawa and the hotel manager Mr Ahmed) - The room was spacious, well decorated and clean - The grounds were impeccable and very well kept - Dinner and breakfast was delicious, especially having it in front of the beach view - Entertainment was varied and appreciated

- Some items in the room could have been included and I would have assumed as a standard (e.g. conditioner and iron - although Mr Ahmed did go out of his way to bring his own iron from home which we were extremely grateful for) - Spa was closed on arrival

Great place, loved the service and the food. We left very early in the morning, but they gave us a nice breakfast at 5.30 and a lunch box , we really apreciated this.

For the kind of money we paid we would have expected free drinking water, not only two tiny bottles every day. (and it is not cheap to buy it at the bar)

Everything was excellent, from the staff to the food to the facilities. An amazing place to stay and relax in a serene environment. Ahmed the manager is a lovely host and pays a lot of attention to detail. Great job!

Not really a big issue, but the curtains being thin, let in a bit of sunlight in the mornings. Not a problem if you're an early riser.

The staffs were nice,absolutely nice .food was nice, had the opportunity of tasting 😋 food from other parts of the world ,especially the Indian dinner

Hmmm nothing

We stayed 8 nights. The most outstanding about the Hotel is the staff. They all made our stay special. Almost every evening we had buffet-style dinner, which has a good amount of choice. Best is the freshly bqq'ed meat. (keep in mind, drinks are to be paid extra). The staff makes sure that the entire beach in front is clean and free of trash. For lunch (or snacks in-between) there is a good choice of different dishes. For our long stay, we did not get bored with the menu. The team makes sure that you enjoy all your meals free of the curious and hungry monkeys around. Activities offered (boccia, darts, tennis, board games, books, ...) The staff makes sure that you are as protected as possible from the mosquitos (high malaria risk area), with perfect bed covers and daily room spray.

Way before our arrival, the Hotel informed us that for dinner you have to follow a smart casual dress code. This was repeated over and over also at arrival and in the room with a letter. It felt quite strict, which did not seem to be enforced too much at the dinner (seeing couple of people not following it). Unfortunately, the SPA was closed for renovation, but we were offered to go to a neighbor hotel. (to be reopened soon)

Impressive! The hotel is perfect! room, food, service, staff - everything was more than perfect! The private beach is incredibly beautiful, much more beautiful than on the hotel website, simply amazing. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. The room is perfect. The staff is very friendly, especially the cook who makes pancakes for breakfast, he is incredibly kind. the location is excellent, right in the heart of Diani and close to a couple of excellent restaurants.
