Staff at front desk were very helpful upon our arrival and throughout our stay. The lobby and corridors were clean and tidy. Really appreciated the accessible water dispenser too. Decor was pleasant and cozy. The room was spotless when we arrived so that was great! The room was stocked with essentials like clean mugs, water bottle, kettle and fridge. Was nice to have power points on either side of the bed too. The gold decals in the bathroom were a nice touch. The garden area and mattress were comfortable.

Not all of the following are dislikes, but more suggestions for improvements - It would have been great to have a wardrobe or clothes rack. Although the room had provided 2 hangers on a wall hook, it would have been really nice to store / hang clothes somewhere since we stayed for a few days. Pillows were a bit stiff. Shower heater was often inconsistent in temperature. The table in the garden area was not waterproof and had begun to expand from the rain but very much still usable. Although we appreciated the cute little mushrooms growing out of the expanded wood, other guests might not, so feel free to check on this if necessary.

Location is fantastic. Short walks to major attractions in George Town and shopping centre. The staff are very friendly and attentive.

There is no lift. There is not much privacy - our window was next to bathroom and opens out to corridor. The lights were not working properly, bathroom has no cabinets to put your things on. Place is run down.

The location is perfect. All Georgetown attraction is within walking distance form the hotel. Nice & clean room at good reasonable price. Perfect for short stay even for guess with family.

The parking instruction could be helpful as this hotel do has parking lot (free). I use Google Maps but cannot find the parking lot until the receptionist dm me the details. It could have been better if this information being shared early to guess who came with his own transport.

The bed could have been better. There was a sinkhole at the side of the bed. There was a bad smell emitting from the drainage system in the middle of the night. The walls were too thin. The sheets were not smelling so great either.

The location was great and we found it very easy to travel around Penang. There was filtered water in the lobby and the air conditioning was good in the room. Nice old-style charm.

The rooms were a little dated and had some wear and tear. The wifi was patchy at times and the air conditioning was dusty, which set off allergies every time we entered the room.

Very clean and the interior design is beautiful and minimalist. Have free parking.

Toilet part in which there is a sharp corner at the edge of the toilet. It looks creepy hahaha… Maybe need more light. Really hard to find this hotel, we searched several time with car until we decided to just walk.

Overall is good, near to tourist spots and the facilities are value for money.

The TV channels are short of choices, and maintenance need a day to fix it. The rules are rigid on late check out, if it can be flexible till 1pm without charging extra will be awesome.

Great location. Nearby all the great sights in penang. Food stalls and shopping mall (1st avenue and prangin mall) are in the vicinity. Rooms are nicely decorated. Small, but clean and are well equiped, you have for instance a small refrigerator in the room. Clean and tidy. Would recommend staying here.

Staff were distant but definetely not rude. We didn't recieve bottled water in our rooms.

I love everything here. The front door quite small may make you disappointed at first but when you step inside, decorations will make you feel warm and comfortable. Room was clean, bathroom was clean. Great!

The hotel was like Georgetown city itself, charming.
