-For this I am giving it a 2 and not a 1: the bed, the pool and the restaurant food (except breakfast)

I am never staying here again. The hotel claims to be a 5 star Dann Carlton, however from my business/leisure stays in Colombia and in general I would give it at most 3 stars, not even 4 stars: - A lot of the stuff in the hotel was old or not functioning - The breakfast is very artificial and very poor. A few more options and a better choice on the food would be better.# - The coffee tastes like instant coffee. This is really bad, especially for a hotel in Medellín, Colombia. - The rooms are not fully prepared for the arrival. Stuff was missing from the minibar upon arrival, and they thought I had consumed several things from the minibar at the end of my stay - The bathroom products were horrible: from soap to shampoo and body cream. Also no conditioner or shower gel, you get a tiny and very bad soap for the shower as well. The hairdryer is built in and didn't work. - The staff were mostly unfriendly, especially the younger guys at the reception and several waiters. - I wanted to book a lunch with a colleague professor from a university nearby and wanted to go together into the pool at lunch: even by offering extra money for the book they wouldn't let us use the pool (because of outside guest). - A lot of times i was told by the waiters to leave the tip in paper money and not write it on the room; i don't know what happens with the tip, but this in my country (Germany) is always a bad sign - The spa experience was only worth it because of the massage. The robe is antique (and very bad material), the sauna didn't work, the jacuzzi was a joke and shouldn't be called a jacuzzi - The washing/ironing service is very expensive and not so good - At the end of my stay, the invoice was 100 € more, because they "accidently" put the washing service twice as well as several other stuff "extra". I had to calculate everything myself for a long time at the check out, and then they acknowledged their mistake.

- Todas sus instalaciones. De forma especial sus habitaciones y piscina. El servicio muy bueno… Todos muy amables. ¡Todo excelente!

La comida tiene un gran sabor, la presentación de los platillos es muy bonita y la cantidad es bastante razonable. Existe mucha variedad de opciones para el desayuno y durante los días de mi estancia, todos los días ofrecieron al menos un platillo diferente. El personal es sumamente amable, siempre dispuestos a aclarar dudas y a brindarle información sobre lugares a visitar y distancias. La habilitación muy ordenada y limpia en todo momento. A nivel de ubicación, el hotel es bastante céntrico y ofrece las condiciones que un turista requiere cuando se trata de conocer un nuevo lugar. Canalizaron incluso consultas vía correo electrónico antes de mi llegada al país lo cual aprecié mucho. Lo recomiendo con creces.

Conocer que tienen más aliados comerciales para dar soporte con el transporte de personas, sea hacia el aeropuerto o para realizar tours internos.

Se escucha demasiado el otro cuarto, literalmente me estaba bañando escuchando música y me llamaron de recepción que alguien se estaba quejando de mi ruido. Podía escuchar las conversaciones que estaban teniendo los del cuarto de al lado..

El aire acondicionado necesita cambio. El sonido es terrible y no deja dormir. Tuvimos que pedir cambio de habitación y aunque fueron muy diligentes y serviciales la nueva habitación también tenia un aire acondicionado que suena muy duro

The location , close to everything, specially super close to Provenza . Also the employees that work there were very nice specially the guys at the door .

The AC wasn’t too strong , at night we were sweating a little .

The breakfast is superb. Most meals in the restaurant are very good. The location is good, though a lot of drivers get it confused with the Dann Carlton Medellin (This is the Belfort). Housekeeping was great! The bed was excellent! The elevators worked perfectly. Common areas were extremely neat and well kept. Most staff were very helpful and spoke a decent amount of English.

Toilets backed up 4 times in a 2 week stay. Lights in the closets needed repairs 3 different times because they didn't do it right the first time. WiFi went down several times, then front desk acted as if they didn't know and said they would get right on it when in fact it had been down for hours and someone was already aware of it. They are not 100% transparent on negative issues.

the breakfast was horrible they have them in these huge serving trays where a flame should be underneath to keep the food warm of course they did not have that so if you want your food ice cold you will love this breakfast. very disappointing because the hotel is great in every other way yet they won't use little Sterno flame to keep the food hot and feed cold food like they're feeding cattle

Very nice hotel and the room was excellent. Tasty breakfast outside by the pool.

The hotel is under construction but it didn't cause any distractions. The gym is poor and in need of new equipment. The reception staff were very cold and rude. Strange, because people in Medellín are typically very warm and friendly.

Great breakfast, continental and Colombian food. Very friendly personnel: reception, cleaning lady, restaurant. The room is great, very good bed, bathroom a bit small but quite OK. They are renovating the hotel at the moment, the Jacuzzi was out of order, but when it is back in business, it is a great place!

The hotel is a little bit away from stores and restaurants. It is on a very steep hill, so walking can be a challenge (though good for your condition :) )

BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD, THE VARIATY OF FOOD WAS EXCELLENT, STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL AND PLEASING, LOCTAION WAS GOOD, DINNING HALL WAS CLEAN AND WELCOMING

I WAS THER FOR FIVE MORNINGS AND EVERYDAY WAS THE SAME TYPE OF BREAKFAST. A LITTLE CHANGE COULD BE BETTER.

Everything was great. excellent staff, great location, great breakfast, pool. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Certainly will return

interior of the showers needs a little remodeling.
