- location;
- panoramic view from the dining room;
- rich breakfast;
- quite room.
- hotel requires copy of credit card as a guarantee, this is the first time i meet the requirement like this, as a general rule, i do not like to share details like this, due to data privacy issues, no hotel required it before;
- in the rooms quite cold in the winter season, heating systems do not cope with the problem.

The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and large, modern, and well-lit bathroom. The shower had both a regular shower head and a rain-fall shower head with ample hot water and water pressure -- a delightful experience. The historic lobby with painted barrel ceiling was amazing. The rooftop restaurant for dinner was delicious and was able to accommodate us even at the last minute.
Our room entry was located on the ground floor in the breezeway outside of the main check-in area. We were initially concerned that it might be loud due to noise from the street but were pleasantly surprised that this wasn't the case. This was initially concern. In the end, I think some of this comes with the quirkiness of being located in a remodeled 16th century building.
The other weird thing is that the room actually had two entries - one up a staircase located inside of the room. When we arrived we found this second entrance to be unlocked.

The outdoor terraces were very beautiful! The serving staff for breakfast were super pleasant and friendly. The front desk people were very helpful.
The bathroom door was very poorly placed as it got in the way each time you tried open and close it.

Close to touristic area.
Must be fhe most expensive cheap hotel in Florence. I specifically requested a romantic room, and paid extra for it, as our visit was for a very, very special occasion which I had shared with staff via chat. However, they completely ignored my request and gave us an extra-large, dark, and dreary room. Some of the light switches didn't work, the toilet controls were faulty, the toilet paper was held in a public toilet-style dispenser, the curtains barely blocked any light, the laminate flooring was crooked and the shower was outdated. To top it off, the breakfast was well below even the most basic standards. For the price of €250 per night, I was expecting at least some level of luxury, but boy, was I wrong. Overall, the experience was incredibly disappointing.

Our room was close to the front desk and there was so much noise, talking, laughing,... starting at 6am! The vaulted ceiling in the lobby made all the noises echoed loudly and we could not sleep.
The staff was not very knowledgeable and we got different information depending who was at the front desk. We asked for a taxi a few times for our departure date and in the end it had not been ordered.
The noise from lobby. The room was much smaller than advertised.

We loved the location specially after the day tourists left the city.
Price. It was a little on the overpriced side of the equation.

The room was a bit of an adventure to get to, but that was part of the charm. It was a lovely big room overlooking a courtyard. The bed was comfortable and they had extra blankets in the cupboard. The bathroom was large with a nice shower. It was located close to everything. Had an amazing rooftop patio with a spectacular view.
I couldn't figure how to work the safe.

Friendly owners. Amazing location. Very close to Ponte Vecchio.
As the name implies, there are quite a few steps inside the building. This was not a concern for us. Our comment is more to do with alerting people if mobility is an issue.
