Everything at Hotel 1899 was exceptionally good. Hotel 1899 was always clean, quiet and professional, with a minimalist zen like feeling to the place. The selection of teas for the tea making was outstanding. The hotel facilities were amazing and the staff were excellent! We will definately be returning to Hotel 1899! Thank you so very much!

Amazing hotel in a quiet neighborhood but well located to the subway station. Breakfast options were really nice. The room was small, but the good size will all amenities. The staff was welcoming and polite. I recommend it.

Cada detalle de la habitación está muy bien pensado para la comodidad de los huéspedes. El kit de limpieza diario, incluidos productos de skin care y sales de baño para la bañera. Viajamos con nuestro hijo pequeño de 3 años, para lo cual nos colocaron un barandal de seguridad en la cama. Además tiene un pequeño frigobar para snacks ocasionales y todo lo necesario para la hora del té. El buffet delicioso y una excelente relación calidad-abundancia-precio.

Aunque se menciona que está cerca de las estaciones de metro, no está tan cerca. Cuando viajas con un pequeño que aún desea ser cargado es un poco cansado, pero si está bien ubicado y de fácil acceso.

We loved loved loved our 2 nights here! Wish we could have stayed longer. The room was fantastic, the hotel was so beautiful. Not too far of a walk to train stations to easily get to ginza, shibuya etc. We chose this hotel for its proximity to the fish markets too. Attentive staff & lovely tea available.

Fantastic hotel in Tokyo, especially for the price. Amazing hospitality and staff; and the rooms are spacious for Tokyo (especially the premium room - the bed was very big). Everything is thought of in terms of design. Nice touch to get free tea ceremony as well as tea and snacks in the room. Safe neighbourhood with multiple tube stations nearby.

The location is very quiet which can be a positive and a drawback. Personally, next time I would probably look to stay more in the hustle of the city, however that will come at double (or more!) the price for this level of hotel. Having said that, it’s very easy to get multiple tubes around the city from the hotel, and there’s nice restaurants and entertainment within 10 mins walk. We were a bit sad that the cafe closed so early, as we were looking forward to a beer / coffee in the afternoon in the comfort of our hotel. You do get a small sofa in the room but not the same.

Todo. Excelente trato, detalles y desayuno. Si te gustan los hoteles boutique, no te lo puedes perder. Localización excelente, justo en el centro de la ciudad (Teníamos miedo por la ubicación, en muchos comentarios dicen que no hay nada. Justo a 5’ tienes Shimbashi con multitud de sitios excelentes y auténticos para comer/cenar y a 15’ tienes el barrio de Ginza o 20’ de la central station andando)

Très bon séjour ! Le lobby est joliment décoré tout comme les chambres. C’est sûrement l’une des chambres les plus spacieuses que nous avons eu durant notre séjour au Japon, c’était une belle surprise comparé aux photos ! Propreté impeccable et prêt de pyjama appréciable. Nombreux thés à déguster également en chambre.

Hotel in a commercial district so it is generally quiet at night without the noisy traffic. Rooms are large and unique. Mine had a nice sitting area and table to enjoy tea while working on the computer. The experience includes tea ceremony in the afternoon and morning which you can do often.

Overall a great hotel experience, but the closet doors really need rubber stoppers because the banging at night was loud and continuous until midnight.

I don't think I can adequately describe how amazing this hotel is. Please do not hesitate to book! We have stayed here twice within the last 12 months, and the service, attention to detail, and comfort of this place have been outstanding both times. Breakfast is delicious. You can tell they only use the best quality ingredient. Their tea selection is especially good. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are spotlessly clean and very cleverly designed to make the most of the space provided. You get loads of extra amenities that I haven't experienced in other hotels, even within Japan. The hotel area is nice and quiet but with many convenience stores nearby. Shimbashi station is only a 10 minute walk. :)

Staff are poorly trained, counters don't know how to do check in payment and cleaning staff left dirty rags on our room table. The arrangement of the sink next to bed is unreasonable.

Great selection of amenities include face toner and cream, along with super comfortable slippers and pajamas Also loved the check out in the room without needed to queue up for the check out at the reception

We had the best time! The room was clean, modern, had little gadgets and lovely details like tea, snacks, skin care, etc. We loved our matcha tea in the morning and the changing breakfast buffet.

Paper cups could be replaced :)

El alojamiento es un auténtico espectáculo. Limpieza perfecta. Olor a un aroma super agradable, cama híper cómoda, personal atento y excelente, ubicación muy buena a solo 10min andando de Shimbashi, a la distancia justa de bares y restaurantes como para que no sea molesto en absoluto. Tranquilidad y paz es lo que transmite y lo que se consigue en este alojamiento.

Todo me gustó. Solo mejoraría la opción de desayuno, con algo más de variedad y si estuviese a 5min de la estación en vez de a 10, mejor que mejor. Pero sin duda me volvería a hospedar, de hecho vuelvo a Tokio en pocos días y he vuelto a reservar el mismo hotel.

The room booked was small but despite that there weren’t many storage options to put our stuff. More shelves and and under bed unit would have been great to work with the space given but we managed. The worst part of the room are the pillows were horrible :(

Tot molt net. Habitacions grans i ben decorades amb gust, ben equipades, il·luminació excepcional. Personal perfecte com sempre al Japó.

Hotel que parece nuevo, comodo y de colores neutros lo que le da calidez (madera y blanco). Ubicado en zona tranquila, puedes descansar tranquilamente. Camadas cómodas pero un peligro estrechas.

Quizás la ubicación...no es mala, está entre la Torre de Tokyo y la estación de Shimbashi (alrededor de la misma hay mucha vida y opciones de comer), pero son 10-15 minutos andando. Íbamos con niñas pequeñas y se hace un poco pesado al final.

カウンターでのお抹茶のサービス、部屋のお茶の種類、お茶に特化しただけあって内装もとても素敵で楽しめました。宅急便のサービスも助かりました。朝食もとても美味しかったです。

ホテルにコインランドリーがあるとさらに便利かなと思いました。

I wouldn't change a single thing. This hotel was everything I needed and more.

Our room was clean, had all the amenities we needed, and the location was great for our stay. We also requested to have our luggage stored before check-in because we had plans to travel around the city and the staff was very welcoming and happy to oblige. Breakfast was available downstairs, and while we didn't end up having breakfast onsite, the dining area looked like a pleasant place to eat.
