We have stayed at Batian a few times and while this is surely a place that would deserve a bit of refreshment and refurbishing, the service is reliable and sufficiently professional to keep us going back. The staff is responsive when particular requests were made.
Our only criticism is that the kitchen equipment could be upgraded with the basic outfit of glasses, cups, good knives, bowls etc.

Staff were fantastic, food service was excellent, apartment size is ideal and the location is superb.
Only negative was the TV channels did not work well.

Overall, the place is good. The place is large. the bed is comfortable. The couch is great.
The kitchen could be more well equipped. The TV could have worked. Be careful on the bathroom, the floor is EXTREMELY slippery when wet. They should either put a shower mat or give slippers. there is no safe in the room. bathroom door is also not working. The garden was being worked on.

We liked the spacious apartment. The relatively quiet location in Nairobi is most convenient. We greatly appreciated the safe parking and the friendliness of reception and parking lot staff!
The quality of the breakfast selection and the care of serving it in the room would deserve an upgrade. No Kleenex tissues or napkins available, no pepper or salt could be obtained with the fried eggs (!), no single sharp knife was found among the cutlery to cut an apple. The fridge had to be started by our own care.

The location is quite close to the main road so has easy access to transport, easy to give directions to and very close to a shopping center. It is a very convenient location.
I also liked how quiet it was and the bed was very comfortable.
The water pressure in the bathroom was low. It took a really long time for there to be enough water in the bathtub, which was one of the biggest deciding factors for me choosing to stay at this hotel.
Also, the amenities in the kitchen were quiet limited, not sure if you can get more items upon request.

Need to have mosquito repellents available - especially were the nest are not in good order

Clean, spacious, amazing staff from the gate, reception, restaurant all the way to cleaners. The location is wonderful, near Yaya Centre which is one of the best malls with most social amenities, nice eateries around, supermarket is 5 min walk, safe and secure environment.
The couch.. its too tiny and uncomfortable.

Great apartment. Spacious, clean and comfortable.
The WiFi service was very poor. I needed to take meetings but it was not possible over the connection provided. I was told there was a fibre cut somewhere central and that it would be fixed. The connection was unstable till I left.

The hotel is situated just out of the Nairobi center, about a 10min drive away. The zone was very quiet during the night and we had a very comfortable and quiet sleep. There is a hot shower available. The apartment had a kitchen and a living room.
It is good to confirm working hours for breakfast directly with restaurant staff in case you need to check-out early.

Very spacious and well equipped kitchen
Like most houses in Nairobi not prepared for the effects of global warming, there's no heating and temperature was running at 11C. Later I was made to understand I would have been given a portable heater if I'd asked.

Great value in a very convenient location. Large apartment well laid out. Staff were friendly and always helpful. Groceries, good restaurants, and shopping within easy walking distance. Overall a very pleasant cheap & cheerful experience.
Apartment was roomy and airy but maintenance was mixed. Kitchen fairly new (minimally stocked with cooking utensils) while bathroom fixtures quite worn. Dining room furniture newish but living room couches worn, one a bit grimy, and rug could use cleaning.
