the location was perfect.

The hotel needs a big renovation some places were felling apart. In my bathroom the water was leaking from one of the tap which damaging the door and floor and the clean of the room as questionable. There was credit card receipt from someone on the nightstand when I checked in my room.

Restaurant menu is a bit limited in options, lovely bar where you can’t drink even a glass of wine — even if there are wonderful Tunisian wines.

The hallway to the room (mine was ok second floor) it had a sting or nasty smell. Half of the time, my room Card was not working Worse part was, during payment time, my credit card was not working. And the staff was so rude, so i had to pay in hard cash USD. If i knew this situation, i would never stay at this hotel. Almost all thr international brand hotel, my credit card didnt have any issue, but only this hotel had. Wouldn’t recommend any one to stay here. Staff said that i dont have permission to go to beach. Overall it was not good experience and not worth the money to stay at this place.

Numerous aspects of our stay fell way short of our expectations of a 5 star hotel. Overall the hotel is lacking adequate staffing, efficient operating systems and proactive management. The hotel pool is part of the spa and we had to ask several times for pool towels - at one point we were told we needed to use the towels from our room! There was a shortage of teaspoons at breakfast and in the rooms. Hot breakfast foods were left uncovered and looked unappetizing. Long delay in bringing coffee to the breakfast table. Replenishment of breakfast buffet was slow. Alcohol was not available at the hotel despite the hotel advertising a 'bar' with many photos of wine glasses included in photos of meals on social media and the hotel website. If we had known it was an alcohol-free hotel we would not have booked it. We were very unlucky to experience a one-off major security issue involving an opportunistic housekeeper which resulted in many lost hours of our holiday. The problem we encountered is unresolved as I write this review. No 'What to do in case of fire' notices, or emergency exit plans in either of our 2 bedrooms. The room safe was not fixed to the wardrobe - it could simply be lifted from the wardrobe and carried from the room!

The hotel is in a very good location, close to many cafes and city center. the neighborhood is safe and nice.

We booked a king bed and got 2 twin beds, the housekeeping didn’t clean our room although they saw us leave in the morning! the room was full of dust!
