Small rooms. Even the executive room.

The staff were really friendly from checkin to check out. Breakfast was included with the room and the quality was good. It was also a good mix of authentic tic local and western food. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The cleaners were really efficient in servicing the room each day.

We had a wonderful experience staying at the Shining Central Hotel & Spa. The hotel location was ideal, and we would walk to most of the tourist spots. There was a wide variety of options for breakfast. The beds were very comfortable and the room was cleaned daily. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Thien from the reception. She was always easy to approach if we had any concerns and gave us good recommendations for restaurants, places to visit and reliable ATMs to use.

We got a room with balcony but the balcony was very small and not much of a view.

Attentive staff, great breakfast and perfect location for Hoan Kiem Lake. Comfortable rooms also.

There isn’t a lot of space for hanging clothes for a longer stay.

Các bạn nhân viên phục vụ bữa sáng cũng rất lịch sự, thân thiện và nhiệt tình. Địa điểm khách sạn ở ngay khu trung tâm, xung quanh cũng có nhiều quán ăn ngon. Khách sạn là lựa chọn tốt đối với khách du lịch Việt Nam cũng như người nước ngoài. Cảm ơn các bạn.

Tôi không có phàn nàn nào cả. Gia đình tôi có con nhỏ nên đôi khi tiêu chí lựa chọn khách sạn hơi khắt khe thôi.

The hotel is nice, modern and well equipped! We only spent one night but it was a very pleasant stay. The breakfast was delicious! The location of the hotel is very centric and right next to great restaurants and coffees! And special thanks to Emily at the front desk! She did amazing job attending us, helping us with our requests, and recommending us things for our upcoming days. We highly recommend staying here!

The room was a bit dark, not much natural light and the lighting in the room could be improved.

The location is great as it is right in the middle of old town. There’s good food and everything need within the vicinity. The staff was definitely a BIG BIG plus, their customer service is a 10/10 and they have been super helpful throughout the trip. My dad had a little issue with his eye due to an infection and the receptionist aided him and guided him to the pharmacy with the medication recommended! We became good friends with the staff here and it felt really homely. The stay was so so very comfortable and my family had a great time staying here. We also loved the breakfast, the spread changes daily and the food was of great quality. My parents loved the soups and noodles. They also helped us out with places we could shop/visit for new year’s goods and had great recommendations (definitely local gems).

The gym could be better, while the equipment was clean, it was a little lacking but definitely sufficient for a simple holiday work out.

Facilities were great! The location was also good just a 10-minute walk away from some great food spots such as BanhMi25 and about a 20-minute walk away from the train street.

Très bel accueil. L’hôtel est très propre et vraiment bien situé! Petit déjeuner délicieux et personnel à la salle à manger aux petits soins!!

Les chambres sont vraiment petites (apparemment comme ça pour la plupart des hôtels dans le vieux quartier). Notre première chambre avait une mini fenêtre qui donnait sur un mur… on a changé pour un peu plus grand avec une plus grande fenêtre. Pas vraiment d’espace de rangement pour les vêtements et pas très bien insonorisé.

Location is perfect from all tourist spots. The connecting room is perfect when travelling with friends/family. It’s like a small apartment with two rooms. The staff is exceptional. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. And extremely polite.

This hotel is the best location. The staff were so friendly, especially Hong and Anna, they made us feel like celebrities. Will definitely stay here again. The breakfast was so good too, I’m going to miss the omelettes.

The location was perfect for me to explore around old quarters. The staff very very helpful giving me information and helping book taxi and transfer. The facilities were top knock and the breakfast had many verity of dishes to choose from.

My only negative about the property was that the room was not sound proof and could hear the cleaners out side of the room, which woke me up. Although this was around 10.

Beautiful, aesthetic, cozy feel. Staff goes above and beyond to ensure a lovely environment!

Newer hotel in good location near Old Town/French Quarter/Lake. Could walk to most things if you choose ;) Bed very clean and comfy, shower hot and AC cold. Has sister spa in basement that is reasonable. Staff is excellent, very helpful and friendly. I would stay again. BTW Highly recommend ‘Hanoi Social Club’ for eats/drinks. VERY good food (veg friendly) and creative cocktails in nice relaxed setting. Wish I’d gone sooner.

Room a little dim even with ‘balcony’ which is the standard viewless shaft - really just meant for smokers. Hotel taxi driver from airport too aggressive/risk taking for my taste even in Vietnam. Grab drivers more careful.

The staff were really helpful from check in and onwards. They were great at anticipating our needs and helpful in every way. The bed was the comfiest I’ve ever slept in, wish I could have brought it home.

It would have been nice if there had been a downstairs lounge/bar area with comfy chairs etc.

The location is great, very close to everything. Also the staff is amazing and very helpful, after visiting Ha Long Bay we had to spend a few hours in Hanoi and they offered to take care of our luggage while visiting the city and offered a showroom before we took a train to another city. Very nice breakfast with a lot of options 😋

The staff were so friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make the stay perfect. They were the highlight of the stay! They surprised us with honeymoon decorations in the room with fresh flowers and cake, which made it so special! The room was nice and comfortable, and the aircon, the bed and the shower were great! The breakfast was really good and varied too!

The staff are amazing and so friendly. They welcomed us from the second we stepped on the here outside the hotel until the moment we left! Great value for money!

Great location on the fringe of the old quarter easy to walk in or head out. Small but useful gym. Comfortable beds. Fantastic staff.

We booked a room with two single beds. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The service is exeptional. Each and everyone of the staffmembers is so so sweet and friendly.

The bathroom is practically in the room and the room itself was pretty dark (no natural lighting).
