The apartment we stayed in was clean, modern and spacious. We had everything we needed and the host Antonis was so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The cleaning service was also excellent.

Starting from the amazing staff, they are all really kind and always ready to help if u have a question. 10/10.! To the modern and really clean room thanks to the housekeeper who is really really kind! The area is perfect everything is close restaurants, shops, beach and publictransport . The place is really private and quiet. The pool is perfect and inside you have everything u need. I will come back and im not changing this place😂❤️ Thank you for everything guys 10/10!

The rooms: 10/10 Upon arrival, the first thing we noticed was how clean and well kept the rooms were, no doubt thanks to Ute, the housekeeper, who is very friendly and attentive and is at the suites 6 days a week. The rooms were beautiful, spacious and had everything we needed including air conditioning which was a life saver. The garden and pool were also extremely clean, with a nice temperature that cools you down but isn’t cold. It was also bigger than I thought it would be. The garden has sun beds so it’s the perfect place to sun bathe during the day or to relax in the evening when the pool lights come on. Hospitality - 10/10 Even before we had arrived at Sarpidon Suites, Antonis the owner was extremely attentive and helpful through the booking.com app, responding almost instantly to any questions we had and arranging for a transfer from the airport to Sarpidon Suites. When we arrived we were greeted by Antonis and given a small map of Agia Marina and all the important areas around us, which came in very handy. We were also given a (fake) Greek passport - inside were some useful Greek phrases, interesting information on Crete, ‘things to do’ recommendations, as well as fun things to fill out over the course of your holiday e.g. ‘stick an olive leaf here’ - a nice touch and a nice keepsake. We were also given a complimentary bottle of wine, and during our stay, Antonis brought us some fresh fruit and veg. On the morning of my partner’s birthday, Antonis brought a birthday cake to our room and sang happy birthday. These gestures were just some of many nice gestures throughout our extremely enjoyable and pleasant stay. Both Ute and Antonis were extremely kind and helpful and created a relaxed and welcoming environment. We had many nice chats, and they truly thought of everything. Location: 10/10 The location of Sarpidon Suites is perfect.

Sarpidon Suites is a fantastic place to stay and enjoy your vacation in Aghia Marina, 15 minutes away from Chania. It's a luxurious cocoon for love birds with an exotic touch "a private pool at the step of your bed". The suites have a boho purified look and feel with everything you need. In a great location, right near heaps of great places to eat! Antonis was very accommodating and helpful letting us drop our bags off early and checking in on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed, without forgetting his adorable attentions such as dropping off fresh fruits and vegetables from his garden at our door steps! Sarpidon Suites, a piece of heaven in Crete!

Quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Private pool is just perfect and the bed is the best we have experinced. Antonis was always helping us out, first with luggage and getting our food and drink in cooler before check in. When we came back, luggage was in our room and our food and drink in fridge. Day after fresh vegerables at our doorstwp from jhis private garden. Antonis had a lot of recomandations on activity and restaurants which was just excellent. Thanks for just a perfect stay.

Excellent location near beaches, restaurants and shops and other services. The private pool is luxurious, as you can come and go as you please. Everything in this place is new, tidy and of good quality. You can order a massive breakfast if you want. We ordered the breakfast twice during our 5-stay visit, on other days we bought food from the Atlasworld Supermarket / bakery, which is round the corner. There is a small well-equipped kitchenette, in case you want to cook. The owner Antonis is super helpful and nice. We travelled here for out 10-year wedding anniversary. There was flowers and wine waiting for us. Thank you for everything ❤️

Beautiful suite, everything you need inside the suite. Antonio was a fabulous host. Location was perfect, everything you need within a 5 minute walk. The cleaner was a lovely lady and helped with any queries we had when Antonio was away. 100% recommend and will hopefully be rebooking for next year.

Unfortunately due to cloudy weather for two days we had no warm water for our last evening & morning.

We had a wonderful time in our suite. Our host, Antonis, was awesome! The communication was great even before the trip starts. When we arrived, he welcomed us personally and explained everything to us. Afterwards he was always available for questions and took care of everything. The housekeeper, Ute, is also a very nice person. She gave us tips for activities and it was always fun to talk to her. She did a great job! The suites are modern and luxurious. You have everything you need. The outdoor area with pool is amazing! Just around the corner is a supermarket and the beach is just 2 walking-minutes away. Thank you so much for the great time!

Everything was excellent, I really enjoyed my stay! The suite I had was modern, very clean and well designed. The yard with a private pool is a real luxury which I made full use of. It looks exactly like in the pictures, perhaps even a little nicer than that! The location in Agia Marina is also great with the beach and shops just a short walk away, as well as the bus stop for the route into Chania if you don’t have your own vehicle. In addition, the kind welcome and hospitality I received from Antonis and Ute throughout my stay was outstanding. They were among the best hosts I have ever encountered on my travels, thank you both for making my time in Crete special!

There is only one reason why you shouldn’t book this place and that is because I would really like to stay again and I don’t want it to be fully booked! 😉

Everything was amazing! My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at the Sarpidon Suites. It felt like home. The owner Antonis was so kind and we loved talking to him, he also offered us drinks, which was very nice and the housekeeper Ute was so kind to us, speaks also german! The suite was very spacious for the both of us. We enjoyed how calm it was during the day and night, because we came to Chania for a week full of relaxation and to be honest it never felt that good! Everything we needed was so close to us, so many good restaurants and supermarkets, so it was very easy for us to walk around. We highly recommand this place! We will come back for sure! A huge thanks to Antonis and Ute for this amazing vacation we had!

Lovely modern suite with own private pool. Very clean. Great additional personal touches including bottle of wine and raki on arrival! Antonios and Ute were really friendly and helpful and even gave us a small gift to celebrate our recent wedding. Very close to beach and bars but nice and quiet at night. Would 100% recommend.

We liked everything

We stayed for 9 nights and we have absolutely nothing to complain about. Everything was perfect. Very clean, amazing location, the terrace and the pool were perfect, we had a pretty big side garden with a table to enjoy food in the sun and the staff is amazing. Antonis, the man who owns the place, is so nice and was very helpful with any questions we had about anything. The people in Crete are so lovely as well. I highly recommend staying at Sarpidon Suites and we will definitely stay here again in the future!

Just an amazing place to stay. The staff is super helpful , Antonis the manager ist just great. We loved every day at Sarpidon. Usually I prefer to explore the location I'm visiting and not waste time in the hotel room, sarpidon suites changed my mind a little bit, but also due to the heat wave we ended up sipping espresso by the pool half the day. We ordered the breakfast a couple of times, when it did fit in our schedule. Pro tipp: We both are not the heavy eater at least in the morning so we ended up ordering one portion for two. More then enough at least for us.

10 out of 10, nothing to complain about.

We had apartment number 3. We loved the big window doors on two sides of the room, one going to the pool, the other one on the patio. Due to that, we had extra light in our room. Not to mention, the area is very quiet. The rooms are big and the bed is comfortable. Free coffee pods in the morning for the machine in the room. What we loved about our host was that after we mentioned it's our honeymoon, he gifted us an amazing cake waiting for us in the fridge, as well as a bottle of champagne, roses and rose petals on the bed. Some of the days, he surprised us with organic vegetables left at the door so we managed to make a fresh healthy salad. Very much attention to details, everything modern. The host always had the time to chat with us, inviting us for a drink at the reception. The private pools were cleaned periodically, although they already have a self-cleaning system. The tv has Netflix and Prime, in case you want to relax in the evenings after a long day. The beach is really close but definitely rent a car so you could visit other beaches on the island too. The public transportation system is the most unreliable I've ever encountered. One in all, my husband and I would visit again!

All is perfect: All new and spotless clean, big bed with many pillows, AC from ceiling on room margin not on top of bed, fully equipped kitchen with all utensils and plates and mugs, pool is clean, tv with Netflix, big fridge with wood casing to make it more silent, mosquito nets everywhere, very good Wi-Fi, large sun umbrellas and good long sun beds, clothes dryer in the yard, safe box, quiet during night, cleaning lady available if you want cleaning or towels every morning and many more small details that you can or cannot think off. Early check-in was available and WhatsApp communication was great. 100m from supermarket. Complementary white wine was very good.

To try to find something or to give advice for the owner I will mention some very small stuff that did not really bother us much: the sliding pool door cannot be closed from outside (actually I believe you can also lock your self out) and while not closed the AC stops, but the house is cool on is own so not big problem. Specific to our room #1 the kitchen was at entrance and the stove kitchen hood doesn't have eviction pipe so you cannot cook fish or heavy smell but with so many good affordable restaurants around you don't need to. Garden walls have a few small openings that have glass cover against the neighbor but not against the walkthrough alley reducing a bit the privacy over the pool chairs.

If you want a totally new, super clean, comfortable and private stay in Chania this is the right place. I work 23 years as receptionist in 5 star deluxe hotels so, I have seen many nice rooms and suites with private pools but the price per night is far to high for the average of tourists. Of course in this type of Hotels you have the nice big surroundings but also the crowd...so if you dont care about that and you just want a spotless clean 5 star Suite with a private pool in a affordable price...Sarpidon Suites are ideal.
