The reception staff was great. Shoutout to Ms Vanshika who was extremely professional and cooperative with every problem that arose. She even arranged for me to stay on for no extra cost for a couple of hours after checkout.
Vue Lounge Bar: This was honestly the only space to hang out in the hotel since there was no proper comfortable lounge or café. I had no complaints and spent a few nights here with a relaxing drink.
Room: The room was spacious and I found the couch quite comfortable.
This hotel is billed as a 5-star by Marriott on its site. Absolute bilge! There is no way this hotel could be 5 stars in terms of food, service, room architecture, lounging space in the hotel premises, efficiency, etc. I have been to 4 star business hotels that were much better value for money.
I honestly can't believe how bad this was in so many ways.
Cleaning staff: The cleaning staff was atrociously bad. They "cleaned" the room but left the dirty towels behind, did not clean the toilet area, did not replace towels, toilet paper, teabags, etc. Terrible service.
Breakfast: I stayed in one of the great foodie cities in India and the breakfast spread was BAD! Potatoes were undercooked, poha was bland, puris were too chewy. The bread was not up to the mark and neither were the desserts. I just avoided breakfast half the days I was there.
Room: The room design was terrible. My room got direct sunshine during the day and there was NO way to avoid it other than to pull the blinds down completely. The blinds could not be managed properly and I had to spend whatever daytime in darkness with artificial lights only.
AC: My room had a faulty AC and it stopped working properly midway. When complained, the staff would come and do a hash job; the AC would work for a while again and then go off. I managed to find Ms Vanshika and complain to her before the AC was properly fixed. I honestly think this hotel would collapse without her. Just give her a promotion already.
Location: As a tourist, I think this was not a good location. I would have done better to stay in Ranjit Avenue or near the Golden Temple, both of which I was considering. I chose this because Marriott is supposed to be a good and reliable brand but I will not make this mistake again. Though, the location might not be bad for business travellers.
Toilet: Minor quibble but the jet spray was on the left hand side and it was a fight every single time to use it. Would be great for lefties, though.
Pool: Luckily, I did not burden myself by getting my swimming stuff because the pool was dry and deserted with no water in sight. This was not informed in advance by the hotel or a discount offered.

The breakfast was substandard . The croissants and pastries were hard and stale both days . If they cant do them properly, dont do them at all.

Nothing to like about the hotel was absolutely disgusting. The room had not been clean for months. I have pictures and videos. This was so unacceptable I hope bookings.com do something about it. I am one unhappy customer I have stayed all over the world. I have booked through you bookings.com. No iron. The plug blew twice. We had to call staff up because we were so scared that we were going to get electrocuted The kettle did not work they had to replace it twice
!!!!!!!!!!!!!No hot water for 2 1/2 days!!!!!!!!! we really did not get what we paid for I had done a 16 hour travel going to put a pilgrimage for my dad‘s fifth anniversary and I could not even refresh myself to go and that is the most important thing is to be clean when you go to God‘s house. I really hope Booking.com really do something about this. I emailed more than 10 times, and not even had one response I have made videos of the whole hotel, when Courtyard Marriott, see these videos, they will be removing their name from the top of that door. If it is a franchise absolutely disgusting zero in rating

The breakfast was fine, enjoyed the variation of the menu and no complaints
The musicians didnt really play anything as in tunes and was quite broken as background music.
My room had no TV connection and i couldnt even bluetooth a connection from my phone - also it took me until 2am the first night to work out the side lights had independent switches and not controlled by the master switch

Location is good.
The toilets in the suite didn't function and had a very bad smell. Staff weren't able to fix the problem or offer us another room.
There was no warm water for several hours during the evening.
The wifi didn't work. Staff was not helpful in fixing the problem even though we reached out to them several times.
During check-out, we informed them about the issues we had during our stay but the response was nothing more than an apology.

Good location close to Golden Temple and not too far from the airport. Room was modern with comfortable bed
Wasn’t very clean, specially the bathroom and the shower. Lacked attention to details, carpets were quite dirty as well, not what you’d expect from a 5 star. Staff was ok, one pair of slippers were missing, we called the reception and asked for it, they said they’ll send it immediately but no one showed up. We had to ask at the reception again the next day. Staff needs better training our stay wasn’t worth the money. Security guys at the entrance were really friendly and helpful

the staff is reallllllllly good. so kind and genuinely friendly. they helped me check in a bit earlier since I arrived earlier than 3pm
the rooms are top class. nothing to fault. everything is new and the bed was very comfortable.
the location is not very far from the golden temple but a quick Uber ride.
only weird thing was the lack of heating in the common areas. it was very cold in winter and we all had to wear jackets while having breakfast.
room service was a bit slow when I requested for a plate and cutlery. probably it was busy time.

The place was too congested.
There was an issue with the flush in the bathroom ,each time we need to call someone to clear it.
Didn't get a feeling of staying in 5 star hotel at all.
We stayed there from 29 Dec to 2 Jan.
Paid banquet was organized,the place was too small.Nothing was done for the people who were staying there.
Last time we stayed in Trident in Agra around New year time,it was a memorable experience of New year eve celebration.
Will not consider staying here again.

The staff at the front desk were very stiff. The cleanliness of the hotel was not upto the 5 star mark the bathroom was shabby needs lots of attention, the towels were old. The lift was smelly most of the time. The location was not a good one. The car portico is very small and one has to really hurry to get off or wait for too long to enter. The room dining experience was not good as the quantity served is not even enough for one person.Being a five star hotel our expectations were 5 star but was a real disappointment.

they need to work on customer service more, I reached the early at hotel so I had to wait for almost two hours for my check-in and during this waiting period no one offered me water or anything, I have to ask them for it so this thing is sounds quite unprofessional for me.

The staff were very helpful and welcoming. We arrived very early and they thoughtfully allowed us to keep our luggage onsite until a room became available. They also offered us the gym/swimming facilities to shower.
The breakfast food was fine and the staff in the dining area were helpful.
We appreciate that the hotel is always busy due to its prime location to the Golden Temple but the price we felt was a little excessive and was different to the price we had originally booked on the website

Decided to try it out since it’s by the Marriott - but it did not meet my expectations
The hotel is far from the golden temple and other eateries. Overall service was not the best.The proximity and accessibility is a problem. Their in room dining is quite expensive. The beds are very uncomfortable. They were quite disorganised at the breakfast area. Breakfast spread was ok. Once we checked out we had a little time till our transfer arrived hence was at the lobby - on going to the washroom - it smelled like fish and there was no water in it. They had no one to rectify the issue for Atleast 30 minutes and put a cleaning in progress board just to avoid people from using it. Over all did not enjoy my stay

The hotel was pleasant, the room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly, and it was nice talking to the chef at breakfast. We ate dinner at the hotel one night and chose the buffet. The food was excellent for breakfast and dinner.
Changing rooms (fitness centre) : There was a very unpleasant smell, like decomposing animal .... I'm not sure what it was really, but the day before, it was the toilets there, which were really smelly.
The pool area needs a bit of updating, it doesn't scream 5 star hotel when you see it and although it says on the hotel brochure that you can have "drinks and delicacies" by the pool thanks to the rooftop bar/restaurant, it wasn't open, or didn't look it. No staff was there.
I wouldn't say it was a 5 star hotel, having stayed in a fabulous 3-star hotel in Jodhpur. I would say it's a good 3-star hotel, it is pleasant for a few nights if you are visiting the area a lot

Location was great. Lobby was clean. Bathroom was spacious. Gym had useful machines.
Staff were rude. Staff made three difference mistakes in the one day; wrong room service order twice and then dropping water melon juice on the floor. The juice that spilled went over the bed, my luggage and handbag. The bed then had to be remade whilst I was trying to eat my dinner. It was poor and extremely awful service. I will never stay here again. No complaint was taken seriously by the manager.

When you go to a Marriott you are confident that the hotel will be top notch, it was. Very clean. Great beds and rooms. Front desk staff very helpful. The restaurant staff was exceptionally great . They are always with a big smile asking if they can get you something else. Thank you to them .
