FAKE REVIEWS on Booking & Google. Read the poor reviews and maybe you'll get a better idea of the place. Place itself is very far from town and not much nearby at all. They told us our room was not available due to renovation and then proceeded to upcharge us for the new room! But we never saw ANY renovation/construction. Scammed??
Felt VERY sketchy, weird vibes, noisy, felt unsafe, left early!

This hotel is beautiful. It will offer you a beautiful view on the mountain and you will see the hot air balloon. Beautiful landscape. One of the best I ever seen.
The room were good and clean
The breakfast is not as good as I thought. Nothing special

We booked 2 suites and another twin room. My friend was shown her suite, only to find that it is identical to the twin room.
At check-in, our dustbins in 3 different rooms were not emptied from the previous customers.
My wash basin in the suite was leaking and the shower head has dropped off.
Breakfast : food and drinks were cold.

Perfect location, close to everything such as offices for tours and transfers to Vientiane. Beautiful and spacious room, friendly and helpful staff.

The owner is the most welcoming host we’ve met so far. Nothing is to much and he takes excellent care of our well-being. The room is spacious with plenty of room to sit on the couch or balcony. This makes the value for money just insane.

The staff are so friendly! The room was lovely and clean. The location is great and we had a great day trip to blue lagoon organised through the hotel.

Lovely Mountain View. Nice pool.
A good 10-15 minute walk to town center

Nice view of the mountains created a good first impression before entering the room, but our experience went downhill from here.
This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in and in the 3 months of traveling South East Asia.
We arranged with the hotel to have a train ticket to Luang Prabang. We were told the price included a tuktuk to take us to the train station. When we got the train ticket, we noticed the price shown on the ticket was half what we paid. Ok, they've arranged it for us and are providing the tuktuk to the train station, fine. However on the day, the tuktuk picked us up too late and we ended up missing the train. The tuktuk driver also demanded we pay him 100k for his service, we rang the hotel and they said we had to pay. We had to stay in Vang Vieng for an extra night, book the train again for the next day (original ticket was non refundable) and pay an unused night for the hotel in Luang Prabang.
I'll also mention our train was around 4pm, the night before check out the lady said we can stay in the room without any extra charge. However on the day the staff insisted we had to pay.. eventually they backed down.
I find it ridiculous how we were waiting around all day only for them to arrange the tuktuk so we got to the station too late.
After around a month of trying to contact hotel to rectify things direct, they repeatedly ignored my messages and have now told me they will provide no compensation.
I believe they waited so long so my ability to leave a review on Booking.com would expire. Very clever.. however thankfully after contacting Booking.com customer service they have given me the option to leave a review.
In terms of the rooms, they are a lot darker and older than shown in the pictures. The swimming pool is old, dirty and poorly maintained. There were quite a few flies in the pool and tiles come off on the bottom. Although I may sound bitter about their service, my comments on the property itself are genuine.
The location is fine if you rent a scooter to drive into town, it's too far to walk unless you like long walks.

Nothing
We were extremely disappointed with our stay here that we left during our first of four nights.
The first room we were in was filthy and the sheets were not clean(hair and blood stain on them) the toilet was also broken.
They changed our room and there were ants everywhere. There was a large coffee stain on the table and ants were all over that too. Very obvious that this room was also uncleaned. Even one staff member stated that the room was very unkept.
The staff were very unhelpful and unprofessional. On one occasion we went down to ask for towels as they weren’t in the room and we had to wait until the receptionist was finished recording her self dancing on her phone.
Myself and my partner have been travelling SE asia for over 2 months staying in both hostels and hotels and we have never left a room during the night but we were genuinely so unhappy with our stay here. We requested a refund which was declined. The staff gave us the managers contact details to explain why we were requesting a refund, the manager sadly stopped replying to us.
Nobody was apologetic about the filth of the rooms and over all the hospitality was poor.
Hotel was far out of town.
Rooms run down and the pictures make it look a lot nicer than it is.
Would not recommend!

I booked this hotel through Booking, but unfortunately, the experience was dreadful. The positive reviews seem to be all fake (pay attention to the reviewers' names, they don t match with their nationality at all), as the hotel is anything but welcoming. They don't thoroughly clean the rooms, neglecting areas like under the nightstands and hidden corners, which are filled with dirt.
The hotel appears dilapidated and poorly maintained, with a malfunctioning hairdryer, pillows and mattresses clearly showing signs of mold. The photos on the website seem to be from about five years ago and do not reflect the current state at all.
The staff is inefficient and lackluster, except for one kind lady who welcomed us during check-in.
The room was infested with ants (walking on my body during the night) and there was a strong urine odor. The included breakfast was equally disappointing, served in a dirty environment teeming with insects. We had to leave the hotel after just one night and find a better place.

Great value for money, big bed with great air-con. Breakfast was really good - lots of options and good portion sizes.

Beautiful hotel! The rooms were big, clean and comfortable. The pool and views were stunning. The location is good if you don’t want to be in the centre of Vang Vieng… it’s only a 15 min walk to the main area. The hotel were really good at arranging Tuk Tuks for us on the days it was raining.

The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and the view from the pool was very nice.
We had train tickets delivered to the hotel but when we asked them if they had been dropped they told us no. Then we had to walk 2km with all our luggage to the ticket company who then took us all the way back to the hotel to collect the tickets as turns out they did have them but when the shift changed there was no changeover. I hope their organisation improves because this was a major inconvenience.

All an all the resort was great
There was an incident but it was with other guests and I wish the police would have come earlier.

Do not stay in this hotel. On a number of occasions during our stay, other guests were ‘accidentally’ entering our hotel room. On one occasion, we woke up at 8am with a male guest standing at the bottom of our bed. Unsure as to how this was possible, I used my keycard in the door of an empty room nearby where I found that guests (including me) had been given master cards which access all rooms. The worst part of this situation was when we raised our concerns with the owners. We asked for a refund as we didn’t feel safe staying the rest of our stay. The owners denied all and threatened to call the police until we left with no refund and no apology. We urge this hotel to resolve this key issue as soon as possible. Other than this, the hotel was generically run down and poor value for money. ’ve never left a negative review for any hotel but this one absolutely deserves it.

Breakfast buffet was same everyday and since we are vegetarians, we could eat fruits. The rooms are big. The bathroom is amazing.
Balcony is of no real use as its not really private.....sort of in a common corridor....
6.0
Was very cheap for what you got and the breakfast buffet was very good, an egg station and a big selection of foods. Beds were very comfy and shower was nice.
We found a condom in the bath, the pool was very dirty and they mixed up a lot of our laundry with other peoples clothes.
7.0
The Pool is big and refreshing, the AC is working pretty good and the bed was very comfortable. At night it is very quiet and the view from the balcony is very beautiful.
The breakfast is very disappointing - even the „hot“ dishes are cold. All in all the hotel is a little outdated. There was no warm water in the shower all the time and I had lots of ants in my room (Junior Suite). I told the stuff but nothing happened.
4.0
Large room
Comfortable bed
Quiet location
Air conditioning nice
Pool refreshing
No welcome on arrival, staff overwhelmed and busy on their phones
The "resort" is in need of maintenance, it would appear the build was never complete in the first place ie wiring is hanging out of the walls and ceiling.
The pool was clear but not clean, mould, ash, missing tiles. No pool towels.
Grounds unkept, long grass, broken chairs, long vines, broken gym equipment
Breakfast buffet cold, not refilled, cold coffee, buffet consisted of rice, noodle, chicken, salad, cold cuts, corn, eggs, bread, rolls, fruit, small menu on request such as pancake, omelette but it was coated thick in butter and inedible.
Rooms not cleaned to a high standard, every day I had to ask for water and toilet paper, no shampoo and soap, glasses not replaced, dirty foot mats, no hand towels, sometimes towels weren't replaced after they were removed, our TV didn't work, sheets were not clean, had what looked like lipstick, blood and cigarette holes.
Staff untrained and unmotivated, would not replace anything ie at breakfast there was 4 empty hand towel containers, when this was pointed out, staff laughed.

Location, far from all the town noise. Staff was friendly. Pool.
Loud music every night from people having parties. Bathroom could use some fixing, it was half way falling apart. Had only hot hot water, or a little cold at the beginning..could not get it to warm.
