Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. Two restaurants on site. We had very good meals there, both dinner and breakfast. Nice, convenient shuttle.

This was our 1st time at the Landing, but it won’t be the last. Staff were so friendly and cheerful and helpful, the room was great, and the amenities were high end. The location was very convenient and close to the airport ferry. And 2 restaurants gave us multiple options for dinner at the hotel after a tiring day. I was a little concerned that our plan for an early night’s sleep would be disrupted by music from the bar, but we didn’t hear any music at all. We look forward to staying at this hotel on our next visit to Ketchikan!

The hotel is a little outdated, but the staff are always very friendly, and the rooms are clean. It is very conveniently located next to the ferry.

Stained sheets, a fridge that didnt work so my food went bad, neighbors that played music too loud and smoked Marijuana. Poor Customer service multiple times at jeremiahs and front desk.
4.0
Great location near both the airport and the Alaska Marine Highway ferries. When my flight landed, the hotel's van was already waiting to take us back. Ketchikan has a reliable bus system that gets you back and forth to downtown for two dollars.
My room was clean but dated. The exterior and common areas are sharp, but the rooms could use a facelift. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The 10-dollar-off-breakfast coupon was a godsend, and the breakfasts there are great (dinner not so much).
Still, I would probabl choose this hotel in the future for the home-like atmosphere. The business center had a computer for web-surfing and the lobby had a nice living room feel. It was the kind of place people in the old world would have just lived in rather than bother getting an apartment. There are other places in town that might be sharper, but they would either be too expensive or lack the warm, communal feeling that this place has.
Overall, I'm guessing that this would still be the best deal in Ketchikan.

Very friendly staff. Shuttle was excellent (take you anywhere within city limits). Clean and excellent service.

Nice hotel conveniently located with a cheerful and helpful staff.

The front desk staff are authentically friendly and helpful. The restaurant is a real diner, the kind that seems to be disappearing. Just a great local hotel.

Would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting the area. A couple of good restaurants make this hotel a convenient choice. We stayed at the end of a fishing trip and will do so again.

Room was nice but it had no air conditioning and walls are very thin. Staff was great and rooms where clean

Great folks at front desk and shuttle was well done. Food was great in both restaurants. Will return.

Jason and Kayla were amazing and shared knowledge of the area which was great. Very respectful and courteous staff.

This motel is definitely in a nice spot but is certainly dated...the carpets & windows need to be changed. The room had a musty smell to it. They were however gracious and gave us a $10 voucher each day for the restaurant located in the motel since there is no continental breakfast available.

They should warn 1 at floor guess when the bowling ball basketball team is staying

Convenient location, only a 7 - 10 min walk from the ferry landing from airport. Rooms provided with fans for air flow, refrigerator and microwave. Beds super comfortable. Clean. Friendly, courteous and helpful staff. Both restaurants offer great food and incredible service. Only wish the breakfast restaurant would open at 5 / 5:30am vs 6am for those early morning fishing starts.

Overall, staying at the Landing was a pleasant experience. Quality hotel accommodations in Ketchikan are hard to come by and we were fortunate to get a room. The rooms aren't plush but have nice amenities - bathrobes, fans, a frig, etc. The layout of the property is a little confusing and while there is some elevator access, there are a lot of stairs so if you have some accessibility issues, make sure you request a room that will give you easy access in and out. While we would have liked to stay downtown, that wasn't possible and the hotel's shuttle service is outstanding. The restaurant is good, with a varied menu. The service and stay, overall, was very good.

Staff was wonderful, shuttle took you everywhere you wanted to go amd would pick you up. All staff were over accomadating and nice. Hotel itself outdated, old carpet in the rooms but otherwise clean

Very nice staff - cafe and pub were both really good. Food and drink was nice and portions were good size.
Rooms need a little TLC, getting a little dated but they are still decent.

Sad that they’re so under staffed but it’s obvious everyone is working hard!

The hotel and staff were great, though parking is a little dicey if you have your own vehicle. If you get the vouchers for breakfast - things go south - it barely covers anything, so plan on paying for ⅓-½ of your meal and they are busy, so more wait than in most restaurants I have breakfast in. The second morning, it seemed the waitress almost had disdain for us - like wasting her time - since we were using the vouchers - and we had tipped her generously the first morning. Last morning a different waitress and she treated us well - and we tipped her well for the better service. Given how expensive the hotel was, we hoped for a better voucher if that was how they chose to handle breakfast. Now I look, and no option is mentioned at all. Would stay elsewhere for a better price.

Jeremiah's has some of the best halibut fish and chips you will ever try.

I liked everything except house cleaning. They only refresh you room when you check out. Unless you request new towels and coffee replacement, it will not happen.

The hotel was fine. Or room seemed oldish and had some staining but it was clean. We were also right by the front desk so it was a little loud.

The room is as expected and the breakfast is always the highlight but the staff service the morning of my departure (Friday, June 9) was not so good. The staff member was rude and talked about guests as they left. I waited at the desk while two staff members chatted and and didn’t acknowledge me. I finally had to just ask my question. To which one of the staff members was rude and not helpful at all! I will have to rethink my hotel
choice in the future when I come to Ketchikan.

Staff here is the highlight! They are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in every way. The Hotel is ‘older’ and so it is dated, but it’s well maintained. Some real ‘benefits’: The free shuttle (saves you $20 each way on every trip to anywhere), the $10 breakfast coupon, the restaurant serves a great breakfast with great staff, and the pub is a convenient place for dinner with also excellent service.

I loved that the rooms were very big, much bigger than a standard contemporary hotel. I also love that they responded right away when we had a problem with our bathroom. Staff were amazing.

Very clean property and room. Perfect except for one huge issue, their Wi-Fi. First day I was able to connect my laptop, tablet, and my iPhone without any issue despite the speed being painfully slow. So slow that it was a chore to check even my email or load a webpage. But at least it worked. The trouble really started the next morning of my stay. The WiFi guest network showed up on my devices and said it was connected but “without internet” I tried everything to get my devices to reconnect to it. I know a fair amount about technology so trust me, it wasn’t a device or user issue. The Wi-Fi simply didn’t work at all. While this might not be a big deal in a metro area when you can settle for having to use cellular data, it is a big deal when the only wireless provider is not a major US provider and isn’t really compatible with any other US network without it being classified as roaming. I was able to connect to the local cellular network but only at very limited 2G data speed (which was worse than the Wi-Fi was) I called and told the front desk about the Wi-Fi issue who said they would look into it. Later that evening it still didn’t work and the night shift had no idea about my call earlier. So it was never forwarded. I the. asked to use the business office Ethernet to only be told it was closed for the night. At checkout found out that it’s actually 24 hours. So I was lied to about that. I am a photojournalist and had deadlines. Ended up at a local store all day to make it
