An amazing family experience again at the Transcorp Hilton! Very friendly staff from the entrance at the front, the reception and everything in between!! The breakfast was fitting for royalty!! The reason why we keep coming back!

The stay was not the best. Here were the following issues that occurred during our stay:
1. We checked in 50 minutes after the check-in time (3:00 p.m.) and we waited nearly 50 minutes until we received a room. This was after we checked with the receptionist multiple times. There was an event we were supposed to attend by 5:00 p.m., and we were late for it. Also the room was subpar compared to what we have had in the past. It was quite outdated.
2. Later in the evening, I ordered food and when it was time to pay, the hotel said that I could not apply it to my room. This was an issue since I had no cash at the moment and the card reader for the credit card did not work. After nearly an hour and a half of trying to pay, the owner eventually mentioned I could pay it the following day.
3. When attending breakfast, we were informed that the meal was not complimentary, so as guests we lost 15 minutes proving to members at the hotel that our meal was complimentary.
4. After checking something from our vehicle, we returned and a security officer harassed us that we were not guests at the hotel.

It was a great stay at the Transcorp Hilton again. The rooms were comfortable, and the breakfast spread a delight! Abigail John, the receptionist was above board and very professional.

Hotel rooms and facilities are very good, but the attitude of check in staff were rude and unprofessional. After the check in process and collecting money for the whole stay, period we were informed that no rooms available and we have to wait for half an hour, but we needed up waiting for almost two hours.

I stayed 3 nights and going back for more. It’s more like a resort. It’s clean, updated and food at different restaurants was great. Banks and shopping centers. Had complimentary breakfasts for two was a surprise. Trans corp Hilton is family friendly.
It was a wonderful stay with holiday decorations.

Essentials for use is not distributed with coordination. I booked room for 2, I & my wife. One towel was be kept in the room. I made several calls and it took over two hours to send us a 2nd one. One bath gel is kept for two persons each day of our stay for night and morning bath. Doesn't make sense to me.

This review should've have been good because the property was decent. The issue at hand is the property double charged me for my stay. I paid for my stay in full at the time of booking on expedia but when I got there I was told I had paid so I gave my credit card and I was charged for my stay again. I am still trying to getting my money back and the property is making it very difficult for a refund to be processed because they refuse to answer calls or respond to emails for expedia representatives.
My advice for all guest (international visitors especially) is make sure you double check any financial transaction at this property because they can over charge you and getting a refund is near impossible

The security was excellent!, and that was what made me to book the hotel in the first place. Staff were very helpful, especially the lady and the gentleman who checked me in the first day I arrived at the hotel. The concierge should do better. The one my sister was talking to who complained to my sister for what she asked him to do, but the the man who checked me in immediately stepped in.

The property was excellent in everything. The breakfast catered to the multitude of people that were on the ground and the mood of the environment was festive.
It is just comparable with any 5star hotel anywhere in the world. Keep up the good works and continue to pay attention to renovating the hotel. Definitely, we are coming back !

Disappointed that cash was paid up front via Expedia and I could not get the conference rate. Some co-workers got the same room for 30%. Disappointed that I had to pay for breakfast at these rates. Staff were very pleasant and the security was sound.

The usual welcome and friendly reception and hospitality that Transcorp is well known for . The renovated floors are simply awesome and befitting a true 5 Star hotel

I stayed here thinking I would have fast internet which is key for me. However the internet was appalling. Generally while the food was quite good, I developed typical stomach pain for a westerner visiting Nigeria despite only drinking bottled water. The room was very dated although they said they are renovating. Of course all of this is despite the price being comparable to a 5/6 star Hotel anywhere else in the world, whilst your expectation should be for a 3 star room in slightly better surroundings (good pool, gym etc).

The staff tried to have me pay for my room, although I had paid in full through Expedia. There is something wrong with their system. As a result, I spent over an hour trying to get the problem "fixed". Also, the staff neglected to make up my room.

Poor service. Room was not clean. Broken items in bathtub and sink. Restaurant service generally poor. Many servers could not explain menu items. Terrible quality of food in lunch buffet - and far too expensive. During one lunch experience food came so late we were not able to eat it.
Internet was the lone positive.
