Our stay at Beijing Nuo was fantastic. In particular, the staff made our time in Beijing easy to navigate and hassle free. We want to thank Luke Wang for being extraordinarily helpful in organising day trips for us from the hotel, and providing us with travel advice and tips. We also want to thank Sky for his expedient booking of taxis and concierge service. They have gone above and beyond. Would stay here again.

We stayed in the historical wing of the hotel and it was a very large and comfortable room (although very warm!), and the hotel is as close to the forbidden city as you can get (and has a metro station very close as well). The staff were friendly and the breakfast had plenty of options as well

I added breakfast with 120 RMB when I checked in , when I get the food ready the second morning, I was told I do not have breakfast .
I support to pay $186/ night when I booked online , but at the end I was charged 3463

Beijing Nuo is a great hotel, location-wise. At walking distance from the amazing Wangfujing street and Tiananmen Square, delicious breakfast buffet, and an extremely helpful staff. I definitely would recommend the Nuo.

Convenient hotel close to Tiananmen. Interesting hotel to stay if you like history. Although recently renovated it is showing signs of wear and tear.

close to the major shopping area. The Internet WiFi is bad

The hotel is in the best location possible, being extremely close to Wangfujing shopping street, restaurants and Forbidden City. My tour guide said it is one of the oldest hotels in the city and used to host important guests, and it shows in the service of every single staff member. They all speak very good English and were really helpful, special mention to the concierge and breakfast team who were super attentive in their service standards. The room is spacious, clean with a very comfortable bed. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is due to the weak wifi signal, I needed to restart a few times for it to work and sometimes it didn’t work at all during blocks of time. Wifi is too important in a place like China especially since I was roaming, I hope the hotel fixes this soon.

Beautiful historic hotel, right in the center of everything. Bucket list places of historic significance + amazing restaurants + great shopping all within walking distance. The service, cleanliness, and condition of the hotel were top notch. When we visited, the pool and one of the restaurants were temporarily closed but the 1st floor restaurant was filling in, and there were other choices within walking distance.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. We loved our room, that has much history and traditional Chinese decorations. It is a spacious room with very comfortable bed. We spent a couple weeks there and it felt like a home away from home.

Was average for the price. Did not receive VIP upgrade or treatment and was laughed at when I asked for the upgrade.

This lovely hotel is definitely one of the classics. The old girl has held up well and continues to provide comfort, style and service!
The room was spacious and clean. The amenities are truly on point - organic and luscious smelling bath salts, soaps and shampoo.
I got such a great deal on the room through Hotels dot com that I booked it even though I have an apartment close by.

We arrived early at the hotel because my daughter was very unwell and unable to sight-see that morning as planned. The hotel staff saw she was not well and very kindly allowed us to check in early and checked up on us periodically throughout our stay to make sure we were OK. They even sent fruit and a get well card for my daughter which was so nice. Room service meals were excellent. Loved the pizza, and the prawn ball dish was amazing. We spent a whole day in the hotel just relaxing and pampering ourselves with all the complimentary goods (lovely soap, gowns and slippers) which very much helped my daughter made a speedy recovery. Above all, the personal service provided by Jessie Zhou in reception was exemplary. She really looked after us and made us feel welcome and so at home. Jessie is such an asset to this hotel. She turned a routine hotel stay into something very special for us. We loved her, this hotel and our whole stay at Nuo Forbidden City in Beijing. We will be back.

The Beijing Hotel Nuo exceeded all our expectations (which were already high enough before we arrived). It is pretty much how every hotel should be. Classy, clean, cozy, spaceful, great staff, very well located, great wi-fi. We had one of the best breakfasts in our lives (although expensive). I want to thank all the employees who made every effort to make us feel at home and made our trip so fantastic especially Mr. James Wu who also arranged a birthday cake to our daughter.

The negatives on my review are solely based on the pool facilities. I booked here as the last keg of our trip before flying home. Room and hotel lovely and clean, staff polite, we were the only ones for dinner in the restaurant but they served us fantastically and food was great. Going to the pool was weird though. There was an unmanned desk outside the pool so I collected a towel and went through. The locker room is absolutely filthy with very basic facilities and it smells. Think council facilities from the 1980s. I never saw so much dirt balanced on a doorway before. When I went into the pool there was a man sitting playing on his phone on one of the loungers (its a habit in China which is really annoying- you have to hear what’s on their phone as they don’t seem to wear earphones or consider others by turning the volume down) when another man arrived half hour later I realised (by the matching scruffy outfits that they were the pool attendants) It was rather bizarre and not in keeping with the experience I had from other areas of the hotel
