This is a gorgeous place - great food, great staff who are so kind with top notch hospitality! I have a lot of food allergies and they remembered every single one throughout every meal. Rooms are comfortable and a great size. Very walkable to all the main attractions in Ubud. Hope to return soon!

Stairway from street needed repairs and was hard to walk without tripping.

It wa a magical place. Beautiful and the staff was beyond amazing.

Loved the gorgeous jungle setting. We had a 2br Villa which was great for our small group of 3. You feel immersed in the jungle yet there are many restaurants and spas on Bisma street as well as an easy downhill walk to Monkey Forest street and Yoga Barn. I preferred this location over the more remote Komaneka Tangayuda location where I stayed in 2016.

This property has my heart. Beautiful, clean, space for walks, beautiful pools, it’s own rice field, chapel, exceptional staff. Such a great place to relax and enjoy Ubud. Close to the center but also in a more quiet area. The staff makes it even better experience, kind, friendly, helpful and serving. Breakfast in the pool is a must. We missed one breakfast, just slept in and staff noticed our absence, and asked if everything is alright. Definitely would love to come back.

Property needs a major facelift… very old and needs to be painted n renovated. The walls in our room were dirty, the ceilings as well looked molded in certain areas. Holes in curtains. I wasn’t pleased coming from the resort previously. The staff and their kindness is unmatched. Very precious people!!! Food was good for breakfast as well. The property itself wasn’t worth the money in my opinion

It was a wonderful stay. In fact, we liked it so much we extended our 4 days stay here to 6 days. We had a room on the 4th floor overlooking the rice fields. Beautiful and serene. Huge balcony with a table and two chairs, a swing and a sofa. The room was huge with two twin beds next to the other (though the size if the twin beds seemed small - perhaps two double or one double and one twin would be better). There is a huge desk, chair, sofa, lounging chair, lots of space and furniture to feel comfortable and homey. Closet and room fir the luggage, separate shower and bathtub (the shower could have an extra handle for easier cleaning and not just a rain shower). Floor was a bit slippery in the shower so i showered in my rubber slippers. Water, cookies given daily, and ice as well. Their body lotion, i loved too. Delicious tea time and breakfast daily can be served in the room both complimentary. Perhaps, muesli and oats should be added to the breakfast menu (i did request oats one day and they made it but it’s not in their current menu). Dinner was okay..had pizza, salads, and an Indonesian dish. Rooms cleaned well. Pool and grounds beautiful but lots if stairs. I have a knee problem so stairs are not recommended fir me but just to get to the bottom pool and spa you must take stairs. It was also hard to get in snd out if the pool cuz no proper entrance just one or two big steps. Nevertheless, I enjoyed swimming in the pool 5 days in a row. I would stay here again.

Service & staff - awesome.

This resort made a perfect holiday for my family. I read other people's review before choosing this resort, and they were all correct. Serene, clean, convenient, yet not too remote. Of course the best thing was the kind and helpful staffs. Swimming, eating, laughing, and relaxing in the nature with family on a sunny day is something I will remember forever. If I am to stay in Ubud, hopefully sometime soon, I will definitely stay in Komaneka Bisma.

Absolutely in love with this property. Staff and service is top notch. The property is so much beautiful and the location is the best. Whenever we visit Bali, this property will always be our top priority, no matter what.

Loved the room - large, super comfortable, awesome toilet, very value for money. Also in a good location easily accessible to food and massage services. The staff were excellent in their service; special mention to May who was super friendly and attentive to our needs, and who went out of her way to arrange for something we left behind to be sent to our hotel in Seminyak. Thanks also to Kadek who made the drive to bring the item to us. Highly recommended hotel!

Really great service, staff were professional and friendly. Beautiful compound and rooms, most of it has been well-maintained. Recommend the spa here. Food served at breakfast and tea comes in light portions. We intend on returning.

I had a beautiful stay at Komaneka at Bisma. The place was beautiful and most comfortable. The service was also excellent. Special mention to Kadek, who was very welcoming and attentive. The staff was always checking in on our needs and wants. It was also a very nice gesture to offer complimentary tea break to guests. My only suggestion is to expand the breakfast menu a little, or offer a change in menu every few days. The food is delicious, but guests who stay longer may like to try different stuff. Thank you for making my stay a beautiful and memorable one!

Our stay at Komaneka was brilliant. The suite was very comfortable and the service was top quality - all staff were so friendly and helpful with big smiles and attention to detail. Every time we returned to the hotel, we were greeted with 'welcome home!' which really summed up how we felt. I will definitely come back again. The spa treatments were exceptional - the room overlooking the water was magical and the massage was the best I have had. The hotel was quiet, comfortable and relaxing. Words cannot describe my experience here. I have been lucky enough to travel the globe and stay in some of the finest hotels out there, however my breath was taken away here - by far the best experience of my life. The hotel is gorgeous, only a 10 min walk from the main Ubud strip, but is set on a hillside into rice fields and a jungle. The pools are fantastic, especially the infinity - looking at it from the restaurant or the lobby area it looks like the pool is going into the jungle like a bridge from civilization into nature. The breakfast and food / drinks in general were outstanding, even having a comprehensive set menu for breakfast with guests able to choose out of the great choices. The room was out of this World, a large 88m2 space with a huge bed, sofa, Apple TV, a large independent bath tub, a huge Italian rain shower, a walk in wardrobe. The attention to detail here was incredible; delicious cookies to devour in the room (refillable), anti-mosquito spray (made from natural ingredients), hand sanitizer, rose petals on the bed, a personalized hand written welcome card, a organic locally ingredient-sourced lotion, amongst many others. The grounds of the hotel are a treat, with lots of see and walk, beautiful vegetation with an embrace of nature. Last and the most important for me, the staff - I have had the best customer experience of my life. Everybody were so friendly, welcoming me 'home' after my daily walks, so attentive and kind (special thanks to Ade).

Amazing attentive staff and gorgeous atmosphere.

An experience to cherish. The members of staff were like a family and they certainly made us feel part of their family. A genuine and sincere warm welcome. They welcomed us “home” every evening. We’ve never felt so welcome to any hotel. The hotel was also beautifully positioned on the edge of the forest. The room was enormous and by far the best room we’ve ever stayed in. We booked this hotel for the central location and walkable to key sites. The room and hotel was so special it made us want to stay at the hotel rather than explore Ubud. The sounds, around the hotel grounds, were truly mesmerising and made us feel we were a million miles away from anyone. The massage was wonderful and the spa is beautifully positioned over the river - sound of water as we had a massage was amazing. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. Plenty of choice and the papaya juice was delicious. Thank you for precious memories.

Amazing little hotel tucked away in nature. The rooms were clean and spacious and there was always someone to play with my daughter :) will def come back one day.

How could we not love Komaneka Bisma. The front desk staff were incredible with my child, allowing them to feed the Koi on check in; the highlight of their stay, I'm sure! The rooms are spacious, stylish and it would appear that all offer amazing views of the valley. I've travelled extensively and this is by far, the most relaxing balcony I've lounged on. F&B options are fair. We would have ate here more had the menu been more extensive. A few kids options - easy enough to do, and we might never have left. Overall, an amazing stay and we look forward to returning the next time we're in Ubud.

The room is so dirty and full of mold in the bathroom!!! Change the room three times and still dirty. The hotel also dirty! The bedsheets full of spots and dirty spots everywhere in the room you can tell they never clean the room! I don’t understand why the hotel open for business!!! The stuff try to explain it’s because of covid! But we’ve been stay in Ubud in another hotel and they can managed to keep the hotel clean! We booked the suite room! I don’t recommend this hotel at all!

This property exceeded all expectations - the customer service is by far beyond. Febi and the rest of the staff at the front desk, cleaning, and concierge were wonderful about helping us plan our day trips, and find the best places to eat nearby. The location is right in the center of everything but still offers you a quiet oasis. You’re also near the monkey sanctuary within a five min walk, and you’re also ten min walk to the Ridge.
