Very cozy hotel. The place has a lot of history. The staff is very helpful. We bought an excellent excursion to the Chinese Wall. Good location. Everything was great.

The staff were very friendly
No gym, No Spa, No Bicycles as advertised on booking.com. No TV reception on English TV on the only English Chanel. No Cold Beer at the bar.

The hotel is amazing, it felt like being taken back in time to ancient China. The furniture in the room and around the hotel corridors and courtyards is simply unique and the have wonderful rooftop lounges where I was reading for hours while admiring beautiful sunsets. Also, all the stuff was very friendly and helpful, they all speak very good English and were able to help in several occasions. The breakfast was also good. They even gave me Chinese Tea as a leaving gift when I checked out. I’ll definitely come back to this hotel if I come back to Beijing. Highly recommended!

Our stay in hotel was really great! Staff was very friendly and helpfull. The hotel atmosphere was perfect, beautiful interior, quiet, and you can feel the chinese culture everywhere. Room was very clean. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast delicious. I highly recommend this hotel!

Perfect stay for those who like experiance the old, but comfortable life style of historical Beijing. Although it is fully equiped for today's demands like aircon, shower, etc.

Wonderful ambiance. Friendly staff. Helpful staff. Very quiet at night. The staff even helped me use taxi hailing apps. But they also made sure to get one for me whenever I needed. Breakfast is always excellent here. It's located in an area that has many shops and restaurants.

The room was such a wonderful experience. The historic beds and design of the room created a magical atmosphere. The hotel was in a great location while peaceful. We began to relax as soon as we arrived. If you enjoy walking so much to see.

The setting is unique, in that it offers a real authentic Chinese feel. The furniture, layout of the room and colours all reflect a real Chinese 'feel'. Excellent!
Perhaps a rug on the floor would be a real treat. We visited on a cold winter day - but we were very readily given some comfy slippers to use. The staff were excellent.

The place is very special， super beautiful and very quiet， even in winter it's warm an cosy. Staff here is always friendly and helpful， English is excellent. I also loved breakfast being brought to my room every morning 😄

It is a beautiful hotel having an old history in a quiet and quaint setting. One of a kind. The staff was excellent and so helpful with every question or concern. Electrical adapter, postage, food recommendations, laundry needs, parking, early breakfast. All addressed cheerfully and efficiently.

Breakfast was good.
Needs refurbishment. Advertises iteself as authentic hotung house but very cheap modern furniture. The soft furnishings in partiucular were very shiny cheap fabric. Room was very dusty and lack of space for storage.
